normally, I'm not the type to leave comments, but this time I just had to emerge from my cave and share with you what's been happening here.
By a thrilling coincidence, I stumbled upon your website and have been practically stalking it for the past few months. Green smoothies? At first, it sounded like some kind of intergalactic vegetable mush to me, but then I sneaked my way through your recipes, and curiosity got the better of me. However, there was always this "No, that's not necessary" at the end of every read. Until two weeks ago, when I gave the constant "No" the finger – and behold, I won!
It's insane! Every day, I now dive into a green smoothie like a superhero diving for his energy capsule. It's so much fun, and the taste is mind-blowing. And the best part: I've introduced your smoothies as a secret snack attack. My ultimate replacement for indulging: a handful of cucumber, grapes, banana, pear, lemon juice with zest, a dash of walnut oil, and vitamin D. But that's just one of many favorites.
Conclusion:
There's now more fruit and vegetables in my house than in a botanical garden. Even for breakfast, I now mix in vegetables, and my dinner is more colorful than a rainbow. People around me say I'm livelier and more adventurous. Even in the winter months, I look like I have the sun in my carry-on luggage.
Just for your information:
I'm a very active person, but my inner couch potato is now under house arrest. I've turned my back on him, and he's sitting frustrated in his hut.

A few days ago, I purchased the Vitamix E310 from you and I am really excited :).
Do you have any tips on how to increase the protein and calorie content in green smoothies?
I have a large smoothie for breakfast in the morning right after I have done an intense workout. It would be interesting to know if you have any ideas beyond the usual protein powder (or even advise against it).

Regarding your question: How about trying some White Smoothies? Especially the version with raw eggs and raw milk butter provides a good amount of protein.
