Anti-Cold Smoothie Recipe "Autumn Pearls"

Cold smoothie with sea buckthorn and rose hips

With extra vitamin C from rosehip and sea buckthorn

A trip to the Baltic Sea introduced us to the regional superfoods: sea buckthorn and rosehip - which then immediately ended up in our anti-cold smoothie. Their vitamin C content is 20 times higher than in lemons, therefore it is a valuable ingredient in the cold season. These valuable fruits can be harvested until December.

Only ingredients in walking distance to our camper found a spot in the cold smoothie - We created a seasonal and regional anti-cold superfood smoothie. Let yourself be inspired by the treasures of autumn and try out which combinations suit you best.

Cold smoothie with sea buckthorn and rose hips

Green smoothies have been my replacement for morning cerals since 2009. They are inspiring, delicious and speak for themselves. They fit into our lives with five kids and lots of joy in creative healthy cooking. I really love to prepare or create new smoothies. Inspired by the Green Smoothie, I combine two of my passions with my job: taking pictures and working with food.

unfortunately I am absolutely inexperienced. Where do you get the ingredients? Do you collect them somewhere or do you buy them? Fresh or dried? To collect I would have to plan half a day preparation time for the smoothie, I probably do not manage ... ;-)

Hello Fidolin,

thank you very much for your comment. In fact, Svenja collected the ingredients for this cold smoothie during a trip to the Baltic Sea. If that is not possible for you or too much effort, then I recommend our winter smoothie against cold. You should be able to find the ingredients for it easily in a larger grocery store.
Or you can try our TOP 10 green smoothies recipes for beginners.

Have fun mixing and enjoying,

Best regards and
