High speed blender
We love green smoothies! And if you love green smoothies, you need a high-speed blender. Because only with an extremely powerful blender do green smoothies turn out creamy and fine. Only the particle-free, creamy consistency makes Green Smoothies a real culinary taste experience and a very easily digestible meal. We therefore only offer high-speed blenders in our store that conjure up the finest smoothies even from fibrous leafy greens such as kale or wild herbs. As with all our products, the following applies in particular to the high-speed blenders: we only sell what we can recommend without reservation. Each blender has been extensively tested by us and classified as a recommendable high-speed blender for the "supreme discipline" of green smoothies.
In addition, each high-speed blender has its own particular strengths. You can find out more, for example, in our interactive blender comparison

Which high-speed blender is right for me?

"Do I want to make only green smoothies with my high-speed blender, or pesto and ice cream as well? And what quantities do I want to make?" The question, "Which high-speed blender is right for me?" - should be answered before you buy. To help you with this, we present 3 blender favorites from different price ranges: Wartmann Blender, Vitamix TNC 5200, and Vitamix Pro 750, and we think there's a blender for everyone in these three high-performance blenders.
How can I recognize a good high-speed blender?
It purees green smoothies fiber-free. That's why we only recommend blenders that do an excellent job of making it creamy, even with changing leafy greens year-round. In addition, each of our blenders has different strengths, so it may be worthwhile to get an overview:
What are the best high-speed blender brands?
While for decades only Vitamix claimed the high-performance blender market, another brand came along in Germany in the wake of the vegan and green smoothie trend: Bianco di Puro from Cologne. The latter positioned itself as an alternative for all those who cannot get used to the classic design of Vitamix. Anyone looking for a high speed blender of the best quality will therefore hardly be able to avoid one of the two brands. Another big plus of these brands is the high availability of spare parts and accessories. In our best list, you can find our top recommendations for high-performance blenders from both brands:

I make hazelnut cream from hard caramel and hazelnuts myself. It's a very sticky dough at the beginning... I ended up damaging my Klarstein Thermal Cook... the plastic clutch got worn out. My question is, would I achieve a satisfactory result with one of your high-speed blenders - a very fine creamy result without any hazelnut chunks? Would the motor and clutch be able to handle the load?
I would appreciate any information.
Best regards,
Paulo Sobral
thank you for your comment and question.
None of our high-speed blenders are suitable for processing tough, sticky, and firm doughs. The blender operates at high speed and the integrated thermal protection automatically shuts off the motor to prevent damage. If you want to process dough in a blender, it requires sufficient liquid, such as in the case of pancake batter.
Best regards,
Carla
About 2 years ago, I purchased the Vitamix Pro 500 from you.
The 2-liter blending container is mostly very suitable, but sometimes I wish for a smaller container.
Is there one available?
If so, I kindly request some details such as size, price, availability, etc.
Warm regards,
Dominik
thank you for your inquiry. Yes, there are two smaller containers that fit the Vitamix Pro 500:
The Vitamix 0.9 Liter Container and the slightly larger Vitamix 1.4 Liter Container Classic.
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out!
Best regards,
Carla
I'm considering buying a high-speed blender.
I want to finely blend soaked grains with water.
In short: 500g soaked grains (moist) and 2 cups of water.
Later, for baking (not in the blender), I will add 500g of flour.
This means that in the blender, it should not be dough, but hopefully a smooth, liquid puree.
Is this possible with a high-speed blender?
Currently, I am drying the grains after sprouting them in a food dehydrator and then grinding them. It's annoying.
If this works, I could immediately use it to bake bread.
I would be very grateful for a quick response.
Many warm regards,
Anita Mai
thank you for your inquiry. You can definitely use a high-speed blender for blending sprouted grains and water.
I would recommend a blender with a narrow tapered container, which allows you to make smaller quantities as well - for example, the Wartmann Blender with a 2-liter container or the Vitamix E310 with a 1.4-liter container.
Best regards,
Carla
I am interested in a high-speed blender, but I have become unsure whether a food processor might be a better choice for me. I don't want to make any smoothies at all, but mainly pesto, hummus with little liquid, as well as other solid spreads and dips, almond butter, and also puree soups from raw and cooked ingredients or make ice cream from frozen berries. It would also be great if I could grind seeds, grains, and flakes into flour. Should I still choose a blender, and if so, which one? In terms of quantity, it is for a baking and cooking enthusiastic household of two people. Thank you very much and best regards!
thank you for your inquiry.
You can make all the preparations you mentioned very well with a high-speed blender. Only when making almond butter, some experience is needed if you don't want to use additional oil. For example, I find making hummus in a blender simply unbeatable - it turns out so creamy and smooth. And of course, you can easily use the blender for grinding as well.
What it is not suitable for are sticky dough preparations - for this, a food processor is definitely the better device.
I would recommend the Wartmann Blender with a 1.4-liter container or the Vitamix E310. Both are absolute all-rounders, and a 1.4-liter container should probably be sufficient.
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.

which mixer was produced either in Germany or France? Are Sage blenders produced in Australia or elsewhere? I would appreciate your feedback.
Kind regards,
Lisian Alisinani
the only device I am aware of that can be used for blending and is produced in both Germany and France is the Thermomix. However, it is not a specialized high-speed blender but rather a multifunctional kitchen appliance. This means that green smoothies with fibrous leafy greens may not turn out as creamy and smooth as with a high-speed blender.
I cannot say for certain whether Sage produces its blenders in Australia. According to their own information, product development takes place in Sydney. As for production, it would be best to clarify directly with Sage.
Best regards,
Carla
I don't have a comparison though.
Since a week I have a 3500i and wonder every time how it can be that a green smoothie comes out there in the form of milk foam. Within 1 minute. Sometimes 1.5 minutes. Truly a magic machine.
I went through the 7 day detox and made different smoothies. Was great. Was very tasty. I will do it again.
Have all the recipes now.
Thank you both very much!
Regards
Sylvie
And: found out during the week that we live around the corner. Maybe I'll come around :o)))
how nice, we are very happy that you like your blender and our detox cleanse so much :)
Feel free to come by and visit us if you live around the corner.
All the best,
Carla
i currently own a Vitamix Pro 500 and am considering switching to a Vitamix A3500i. Does it make a difference from the mixing result?
Kind regards
Sophia
thank you for your question.
Yes, it makes a difference in the blending result: The Vitamix A3500 i produces the creamiest and fluffiest green smoothies. The reason for this is the perfect interplay of container, blade block and power.
Kind regards,
Carla
Thank you in advance for your answer!
Best regards,
Regina
thank you for your inquiry.
The Wartmann Blender not only handles the apple peels, it purees them creamy-fine that you can't taste them anymore. When I make applesauce, I even blend not only the peels with it, but also the seeds. A high-performance blender like the Wartmann Blender has no problems with this either.
Kind regards,
Carla
looking for a blender I landed with you on the page ;)
However, the selection is sooo huge that I would now like to take your experience.
The blender should be able to blend whole fruit with seeds, bananas with peel, etc. for smoothies. Wild herbs, celery, cauliflower and much should also be no problem.
For a 2 person household, the soup function, easy cleaning and long shelf life should be important. A plus would also be other functions such as doughs, milk production and possibly still Nicecream / sorbet. So quasi the egg-laying Wollmilchs**.
If possible, this should not be so loud. But if it is the only compromise I have to make, it would be bearable.
On the Internet you can always find reports that all Vitamix models are very loud after all 90 DB....
To the Blendtec 800 and Bianco Gusto Pro there are unfortunately hardly any experience reports...
Maybe you could help me with the decision something :-)
Many many thanks in advance.
thank you for your inquiry. All blender models in our store can make the preparations you mentioned. They differ primarily in terms of the minimum preparation quantities (depending on the container shape) and especially for green smoothies in terms of creaminess. Here, the following Vitamix models are clearly ahead: Vitamix Pro 750, Vitamix A2300i, Vitamix A2500i and Vitamix A3500i.
For the preparation of sticky dough consistencies would be a high-powered blender basically less suitable. It overheats very quickly in such preparations and says goodbye to the heat protection, so that the motor is not damaged. Here, a food processor is much more suitable. A device for everything therefore does not exist from my experience!
All-round models that can make all popular blender preparations in both large and small quantities are the following blenders:
Wartmann blender, Vitamix TNC 5200 or also the Vitamix E310. The latter is equipped with a 1.4 liter container - the former two with 2 liter containers.
If you have any further questions, feel free to get in touch,
Carla
i am looking for a blender for gastronomic use. Which model can you recommend. Requirement would be - a large container and also a long runtime, should not be a problem.
Thank you and warm regards
thank you very much for your inquiry.
I actually immediately think of two devices: The Bianco di Puro Gusto and the Bianco di Puro Gusto Pro. Both blenders have a particularly powerful brushless DC motor. Advantage: No parts rub against each other here, which is why the natural wear is very low and the service life is correspondingly high. While the Bianco Gusto is equipped with two containers - 1.5 liter container and 2 liter container - the Bianco Gusto Pro only comes with a 1.5 liter container. In return, the Gusto Pro gives you the option to set 5 individual time programs in addition to 5 preset time programs. In addition, the Bianco di Puro Soundcover is offered exclusively for the Gusto Pro to further minimize the noise level during the mixing process.
Alternatively, the Blendtec Professional 800 might be an option - it already has an integrated soundcover and is equipped with a 2.7-liter container, whose maximum filling volume is 2 liters.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
Kind regards,
Carla
which blender would you recommend for oat milk, almond nut, flaxseed and nicecream? Of course, it should also be able to make smoothies. The blender would be for a 2 person household and probably not in daily use (high-powered blender beginner, so not spoiled yet..)
Warm regards,
Anke
thank you for your inquiry. I would recommend the Wartmann Blender. This supports you in the kitchen an all-round talent, which can produce the mentioned preparations in small and large quantities.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me!
Kind regards,
Carla
I am wondering if it is also possible to make green smoothies with a Thermomix? Or what is the difference between this and a high-speed blender? Do you have any experience?
first of all, yes! You can make green smoothies with the Thermomix, but the blending result differs significantly from that of a good high-speed blender, especially with fibrous leafy greens such as wild herbs. That's why we also have many Thermomix customers in our clientele who use a high-speed blender as a supplement. These are simply two different categories of equipment that play to their strengths in different preparations and therefore complement each other very well.
Kind regards
Carla
i always thought that if a high-performance blender. then it must be a Vitamix with at least 30,000U / min, because here the chlorophyll is broken down optimally. However, according to your info, this is misinformation and it depends mainly on the blade tip speed. Have I understood this correctly? With the Vitamix Pro 750 this is yes among the highest. So is the nutrient uptake still better with the 750 or is it more a taste aspect than a health aspect. For me it is mainly the nutrient absorption, because of weakened immune system due to illness.
I want to make mainly smoothies (1-2 person). Occasionally ice cream, nicecream (small amounts), make pestos, oat milk, grind flour (e.g. oat flour, spelt flour, etc) as I bake bread. What blender would you be able to recommend to me?
thank you very much for your blender inquiry.
The blade tip speed is definitely the most meaningful parameter for the performance of a high-performance blender - especially with regard to the creaminess of green smoothies.
That's why the Vitamix Pro 750 makes the creamiest and fluffiest green smoothies ever. And of course, you can use the Pro 750 for all the preparations you listed. However, viscous preparations such as Nicecream or Pesto are only possible from a minimum quantity of 750 ml. For smaller quantities, you would need an additional container - for example, the Vitamix 1.4-liter container.
Alternatively, the Vitamix E310 could be interesting for you - this is equipped with a 1.4-liter container as standard. Due to the lower blade tip speed, the green smoothies are not quite as creamy and fine as with the Pro 750. The lower blade tip speed is not as noticeable in the other preparations.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
Kind regards,
Carla
i prefer to drink wild herb smoothies. But in the future I would also like to make my own almond milk and nut butters.
Which smoothie maker is particularly recommended? Is there a blender that is dishwasher safe. Unfortunately, I am definitely not able to reliably always wash everything by hand.
thank you for your inquiry.
Only the containers of the Vitamix Ascent series are approved for cleaning in the dishwasher. However, we do not recommend washing blender jars in the dishwasher. Cleaning is actually very quick and easy - even for viscous preparations. Here are the Vitamix Ascent models.
All three blenders are perfect for making the creamiest wild herb smoothies. Of course, you can also use them to make almond milk and nut butters - but the latter requires a minimum of 750 ml.
Kind regards,
Carla
Kind regards
You can really make oat and almond milk with any high-speed blender in our range without any problems!
Kind regards
Carla
I need your advice. My Vitamix broke after 11 years. Since I am now retired and my husband died, my budget is limited and so I bought the Krups Infinymix with the same speed as the Vitamix. A single disappointment. I also like to make myself almonds, oatmeal and flaxseed in my smoothie, nut milk from hazelnuts or almonds. What can you advise me? Maybe the Wartmann Blender or the Bianco di Puro Attivo? I always enjoy reading your newsletter and have tried many recipes.
Kind regards
Ulrike
first of all about the Vitamix: Depending on what is broken, a repair might be worthwhile. For this, it is best to ask our customer service with a description of the error.
If the container and motor are "broken", it might be worth buying a new one. If you are deciding between Wartmann and Bianco di Puro Attivo, the quick answer would be: Wartmann blender!
The Attivo is offered by us mainly because of its size and weight. It can be transported relatively well and the performance is worse than all the larger devices in our range, but the other devices are not so compact for it. A very good compromise, but still a compromise.
The Wartmann blender should remind you of the Vitamix in terms of the blending result. They play for most applications in the same league. The price / performance ratio is really convincing! And that is not just written. If you are not convinced by the Wartmann blender, you can make use of our 45-day money-back guarantee. By the way, we offer the Wartmann blender in two versions, with a large and a small container. For a single household, the small container should be enough. Due to its size, it is even more handy than the larger container. Both Wartmann containers are pleasantly light and stable, by the way. That's one of the things we love about the Wartmann blender.
Best regards
Carla
PS: Concerning the speed information of manufacturers, we had once commissioned a laboratory study to measure the speeds and power consumption of blenders. Only 2 out of 10 manufacturers have advertised with truthful values. The deviations were particularly large as soon as the blenders were filled. This is where the wheat was completely separated from the chaff.
We are looking for a blender for fine smoothies, in which also carrots come in, and furthermore we want to make with the blender almond and oat milk itself. Is there an all-rounder here?
Thanks for the help in advance ☺️
Kind regards
Martina
thank you for your inquiry.
Take a look at the Wartmann blender. This is an all-rounder - can make large as well as small quantities and of course carrots. Process almonds or cereals.
If you have any more questions, feel free to get in touch!
Best regards
Carla
I am looking for a high powered blender. Currently I blend with my food processor and everything doesn't get that creamy. I currently make a smoothie daily - about 3 glasses. I also make plant-based drinks occasionally. For our baby I would like to make fresh fruit porridge. And in the summer, nicecream. Since we also like to eat nut puree, I would also like to make it myself. Can you actually get ground nuts? In short, I'm looking for an all-rounder. The new kitchen appliance doesn't have to grind cereals; I have a mill for that.
thank you for your inquiry.
I can recommend you the following blenders, which can make all the preparations you mentioned:
Wartmann Blender
Vitamix E310
Vitamix TNC 5200
The difference in the models is that the Vitamix E310 has a 1.4-liter container - so it is suitable for small and medium preparation quantities. The other two models - Wartmann blender and Vitamix TNC 5200 - come standard with a 2-liter container - so it's suitable for small and large quantities. However, you can also choose a smaller container here.
In terms of performance, the Vitamix TNC 5200 is a notch ahead - it has the highest blade tip speed at 250 km/h - the Vitamix E310 is 246 km/h and the Wartmann blender is 215 km/h.
If you have further questions, feel free to contact me.
Kind regards,
Carla
I had a smoothie at my friend's house made with the Vitamix Pro750 and thought it was fantastic!
I am now considering buying the smaller model E310, but am afraid to be disappointed. However, I found some posts on the internet; supposedly the difference would not be very big.
What is the difference between the devices then?
And mixes the 310 also finely chopped ginger?
Kind regards, Neele
thank you very much for your email.
The Vitamix Pro 750 blends the creamiest (green) smoothies - totally fine and fluffy. The difference to the Vitamix E310 is not huge, but it is there. The smoothies also turn out fine, but don't have that faste velvety texture. This is due to the container and the different length of the blades, as well as the higher blade tip speed on the Pro 750 at 302 km/h vs. 246 km/h on the E310.
So there are reasons for the fantastic taste experience :)
Regarding your ginger question: Yes, the E310 can finely mix ginger without any problems.
If you have further questions, feel free to contact me.
Best regards,
Carla
i am looking for a blender mainly for making smoothies, drinks and nice cream with ingredients like oats, milk, frozen berries, ice cubes, passion fruit, apples, pomegranates and carrots. It would be nice if the berries and pomegranate seeds get small in the process too. Celery and leaves, on the other hand, I won't be processing. From time to time I would like to make pesto, bean paste or hummus.
Criteria I have otherwise for the device selection are general safety and as little wear as possible, preparation of quantities for only one person to a maximum of two people. And not too high should be the blender, priced within the range of what is just necessary for the requirements. Can you recommend me blenders? I am also unsure whether I should look better in the mid-range or high-performance range.
Thank you very much!
Antje
thank you very much for your inquiry.
I can think of exactly two blenders that meet your requirements: The Wartmann blender with the 1.4 liter container and the Vitamix E310 - also equipped with a 1.4 liter container.
Both blenders can make the preparations you mentioned - in small as well as medium quantities.
The seeds of pomegranates, passion fruit and also berries like raspberries, are pureed very small, however, they are still noticeable - that can not be changed even when processing with high speed blenders.
If you have any further questions, feel free to get in touch!
Kind regards,
Carla
now I was looking for and found your Wartmann blender and also one called Optimum from Bosch. Why do not you have the offer with your high performance blenders?
Kind regards Martina
thank you for your question. Food processors with blender attachments, such as the Bosch Optimum, do not come close to the speeds and performance of high-speed blenders like the Wartmann blender. Therefore, they can't produce comparably creamy green smoothies. You can certainly use them well for fruit smoothies or for pureeing soups, but not for pureeing fibrous leafy greens. There you are much better equipped with the Wartmann blender :)
These are the reasons why we do not offer such hybrid devices in our store.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
Best regards,
Carla
after the 7 day detox cleanse, I can't imagine life without the green smoothie!
Best regards,
Carla
Thanks for the advice in advance
Andreas
thank you for your inquiry.
If you mainly want to make nut or almond puree, you are better off with a food processor than with a high-performance blender. A high-powered blender is the specialist for blending liquids - sticky, chewy preparations succeed when sufficient liquid is added - as in the case of pesto, hummus, etc
The blender can also make almond paste without adding extra oil, but with a lot of patience and experimentation. This is because the blender quickly goes into automatic heat protection when the food is dry, and then you have to wait until the blender can be turned back on or the motor has cooled down to continue processing nuts/almonds. Of course, once you get the "hang of it", you can also use a high-powered blender to make nut puree
If you still want to buy the Bianco Gusto, also to be able to make other blender preparations, then I would recommend the combination of Canto and Uno container. This would equip you for large and small preparation quantities - also for nut puree.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me again.
Best regards,
Carla
I would be looking for a high speed blender for the single household. Preferably with a small attachment, possibly also for soup preparation.
Which product would you recommend to me?
Important to me is a small compact size of the device.
Thank you very much for your feedback.
Kind regards Nicole Ruf
thank you very much for your request.
The following blenders could be suitable for you, as they have compact dimensions: The compact Primo S blender by bianco di puro or the compact and even slightly more powerful Vitamix E310. Alternatively, the Bianco di Puro Attivo, a very compact blender with to-go attachments could be suitable for your needs.
If you have any further questions, feel free to get back to me!
Best regards,
Carla
i am looking for a blender that I can use to prepare quite a few things quickly and easily. I would love to make nut purees without adding oil or other liquids, doughs, raw cakes, pastes with ginger and dates, ice cream, and so much more. Most of all, I would love to use the blender to make hot soups and baby food as well. So as you can see, I have high expectations (: I have tested the Thermomix, but I am not 100% convinced.
Can you recommend me a high speed blender?
Kind regards
Ana
thank you very much for your inquiry.
A high-speed blender is first and foremost a specialist for pureeing blended drinks such as green smoothies, fruit smoothies, shakes, nut milks or for making soups. In addition, it is also very suitable for making hummus, nice cream, baby mash from fruits, pesto or dips - that is, creams and pastes where there is enough liquid. Of course, you can also use it with a little routine to make nut puree - even without adding oil. It is important that the nuts are roasted in the oven before pureeing, so that the nut oil can better escape during mixing.
For preparing sticky dough consistencies like you like to make, a food processor is the better tool. A high-speed blender overheats very quickly during such preparations and goes into heat protection so that the motor is not damaged. Therefore, from my experience, there is not one device for everything!
Kind regards,
Carla
thank you very much for the great recipes and your tips and tricks! I actually do not know which blender suits us. We are a family of 4. I would love to make smoothies, grind nuts, make ice cream and make my own nut milk and oat milk. Then I would like to try making carrots. My current countertop blender doesn't do that. Actually, I also wanted to juice celery, but I think I need a juicer Omega Juicers MM900. Do you have a tip for me? Then I'm undecided which blender jar I should take, 2 liters or 1.4 liters? The Vitamix TNC 5200? I know, the " jack of all trades " does not exist;).
Thank you very much in advance!
Best regards, Sibylle
thank you very much for the nice feedback on our recipes.
Regarding your inquiry: With your preselection - the Vitamix TNC 5200 - you are already quite right. In the standard edition, it is equipped with a 2-liter container, which can produce large as well as small quantities of even more solid consistencies such as Nicecream or Hummus from 400 ml. For a 4 person household, this capacity makes more sense than the 1.4 liter container. Especially if you want to prepare smoothies.
In addition, the TNC is the only Vitamix blender that has a turbo button; this is just great if you want to blend in some more oil or spices or something gets stuck in the mix. Of course, you can also chop root vegetables like carrots with the TNC. By the way: I have been working with the Vitamix TNC 5200 for over 10 years - it is my most used kitchen appliance! In a moment I will use it to make dreamy creamy hummus :)
About juicing celery: You can start experimenting with a countertop blenders like the Vitamix TNC 5200 - you can find a tutorial here .
But if you want to drink celery juice regularly, I would definitely advise you to buy a slow juicer as well. The Omega Juicers MM900 would be a great option with a very good price-performance ratio; the Angel Juicer would be the powerful counterpart to the Vitamix TNC 5200 in terms of celery juice juicer.
If you have any other questions, feel free to get back to me!
Love,
Carla
Not only do I want to make smoothies, but I also want to grind nuts and dried veggies really fine (so no liquid added). And vegetables are really hard after drying. Unfortunately, my old blender can't do that. Which blender is best for this?
Thank you very much and best regards
Rita
thank you for your inquiry.
You can grind any kind of nuts with all our high-speed blenders - as well as grains, seeds and coffee beans. As far as dried vegetables are concerned, I unfortunately cannot provide any empirical values. I don't know how hard the vegetables are and how they might damage the container.
Best regards,
Carla
Thanks for the great site and all the info.
is the Wartmann blender "good enough" for green smoothies including dates and ginger? So does it get the dates and ginger small/homogenous? I currently have a "regular blender" and the date and ginger stay chunky, that sucks.
Best regards, Sylvia
thank you for your question.
In any case, you can use the Wartmann blender to finely puree ginger and dates in the smoothie without any problems. If the dates are very hard or dry, it still makes sense to soak them briefly in lukewarm water before blending. And please: never use the seed ;)
Best regards,
Carla
I would like to have a recommendation from you on which blender to purchase if I want to make truly fiber-free pestos and spreads, as well as occasionally prepare almond milk or similar items, but all in small quantities. Can the Vitamix 5200 be recommended for this?
Thank you very much,
Bärbel Heinz
Thank you for your inquiry.
The Vitamix TNC 5200 is definitely a top choice for your preparation needs.
It can make large or small quantities of pesto or spreads - starting from around 350 ml; to ensure a fiber-free consistency, simply blend for an appropriate amount of time on maximum speed. Of course, you can also use the TNC 5200 to make almond milk or other nut milk varieties - up to 2 liters.
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
Carla
with the Wartmann Mixer, you can prepare the mentioned recipes very well - especially the container is also suitable for making smaller quantities of thick consistencies such as nut butter - possible from 400 ml onwards.
We do not offer the Forte 2.0 due to lack of demand.
Best regards,

I'm considering buying a Wartmann blender. Besides the stated uses, I also want to prepare bases for raw vegan cakes, such as using oats and hazelnuts. Is that possible with the Wartmann blender?
Until recently, I was thinking of getting a used Thermomix to make smoothies and enjoy a variety of other options. Do you have any experience with the Thermomix regarding green smoothies and nice cream?
I look forward to your feedback.
Thank you very much.
Kathrin.
Thank you for your questions.
You can prepare dough, but there should be enough liquid involved. Very thick, sticky dough consistencies can cause the blender to overheat and activate the heat protection. This happened to us, for example, with energy balls.
You can easily use the Wartmann blender to grind nuts or oats.
The Thermomix is definitely not a specialist for green smoothies - they won't turn out as creamy and smooth as with a high-speed blender.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out.

Carla
Thank you for your question.
You can chop dates with all our blenders, but sufficient liquid should be added. Regardless of the wattage/power of a high-speed blender, processing very thick, sticky consistencies like those for energy balls can cause it to overheat and shut off due to the built-in heat protection. A food processor would be a better option for sticky preparations.

Thank you very much for your detailed explanations, they are definitely very helpful!
After thorough reading, I am now torn between the Wartmann and the Vitamix TNC 5200. The price difference between the two is quite significant, and I find that the descriptions read quite similarly. It would be my first high-performance blender for my family of four, although I would mainly use it for myself. I would like to make green smoothies, nut milk, nut butter, pesto, and occasionally soups and grinding. Would the Wartmann be sufficient for these tasks, or is it worth the extra cost to go for the Vitamix TNC 5200?
Thank you very much for your help!
Juli
Thank you for your comment and the lovely feedback about our website!
Both blenders can handle the preparations you mentioned. The Vitamix TNC 5200 has a higher blade tip speed of 250 km/h compared to the Wartmann blender's 215 km/h, which makes green smoothies a bit creamier in the TNC. Additionally, the Vitamix TNC comes with a 7-year warranty compared to the Wartmann blender's 5-year warranty. This partly explains the price difference. The Vitamix TNC 5200 is also our top-selling analog blender with a turbo button - this function is unique and ideal for seasoning and adjusting dishes like soups or for blending again if something gets stuck. I've personally been using the TNC 5200 for over 10 years almost daily - it has never let me down. It's no wonder it's a bestseller :)

I am looking for a device that can help me make nut butter and energy balls, where I can also process sticky dried fruits. It would be great if it could also handle chopping vegetables for salads, but that's not a must. My previous research has yielded various results regarding which device is suitable for what purpose. The only consistent factor mentioned was a high wattage for making nut butter. I don't want to spend more than 400 euros.
Do you have any ideas or recommendations for me?
Thank you very much in advance,
Britta
Thank you for your inquiry.
A high-speed blender is primarily a specialist for blending mixed drinks such as green smoothies, fruit smoothies, shakes, nut milk, or making soups. It can also be used very effectively for hummus, nice cream, pesto, or dips. With a bit of practice, you can also make nut butter with it.
One thing it can struggle with is sticky dough consistencies, such as for energy balls, as this preparation can cause the blender to overheat and activate its heat protection feature. A food processor would be a better device for sticky preparations.

In the summer, I want to pick my own smoothie ingredients from fields. Can the two blenders mentioned or any other blender handle wild herbs well?
Best regards,
Julian
both mixers can process wild herbs; as I mentioned before, the Vitamix E310 does it slightly better, but the Wartmann mixer also makes creamy and smooth wild herb smoothies.
Best regards,
Carla
Honestly, I can't decide which one is right for me. I need a blender that can blend green smoothies, as my stomach/digestive system doesn't handle raw food well, and of course for making pesto and dips as a beginner.
Best regards,
Thank you for your inquiry. I understand your specific needs for your preparations. I would definitely recommend a blender that can handle smaller quantities of approximately 350/400 ml, especially for thicker consistencies like pesto. The following blenders might be of interest to you:
Wartmann Blender
Vitamix E310
Both blenders are capable of creating creamy and smooth green smoothies. The Vitamix E310, in particular, blends to an even creamier consistency due to its higher blade tip speed of 246 km/h, compared to the Wartmann Blender's 215 km/h.

Thank you for your interesting website. I'm primarily interested in making healthy ice cream for our family in large quantities. Currently, I have a 1200W Bosch kitchen machine, but making ice cream with it is quite cumbersome as it requires a lot of liquid and constant stirring. I was considering buying an immersion blender with a crushed ice function until I came across this website, and now I'm considering investing more. Which model would you recommend that can also be used for smoothies and other applications?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,
Godlind
Thank you for your inquiry. A very good all-around blender that you can use for nice cream as well as smoothies is the Vitamix TNC 5200. It comes with a 2-liter container, allowing you to make approximately 1000 ml of nice cream at once. You can prepare smoothies up to a quantity of 2 liters.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Best regards once again! :)
I understand your concerns, as I had the same thoughts. If there were a top-notch blender with a glass container, we would have it in our shop immediately. Regarding your plastic concerns, my personal approach is as follows: I try to avoid plastic whenever possible, especially when it comes to storing food, such as water in plastic bottles. During blending, the ingredients only have brief contact with the Tritan container, which is at least BPA-free. I am willing to make this compromise for a finely blended green smoothie.
Best regards,
Carla
I was delighted to read your report and would love to treat myself to a high-speed blender. However, I prefer one with a glass container as I have concerns about Tritan and its potential health risks... If I'm going to spend a lot of money, I want it to be a glass blender.
Do you have any recommendations for a product with a glass container?
Thank you very much and warm regards :)
Thank you for your inquiry. Currently, we do not have a blender with a glass container in our product range because we have not found one that meets our standards for creating creamy green smoothies. Therefore, I cannot recommend a specific device. Our blenders all come with containers made of Tritan plastic, which is BPA-free.

Carla
I'm looking for a high-speed blender that can handle both liquid and solid ingredients (nuts, flaxseeds, etc.). Can the Wartmann Blender do that?

k.bodamer
Thank you for your inquiry.
The mentioned ingredients are not a problem for the Wartmann Blender.

I'm looking for an all-around blender:
I would like to transform both frozen fruits/vegetables and crush ice into smoothies and sauces. Additionally, I would like to be able to blend vegetables (including carrots and celery). It should also be capable of pureeing hot soups without the container becoming foggy or overheating/breaking. The container should also be dishwasher-safe, and I would like to easily remove the blade assembly for cleaning, as I've experienced with immersion blenders that food residue can accumulate under the blades and be difficult to clean.
Thank you very much for your feedback!
Best regards, Sylvie
Thank you for your inquiry.
The only high-speed blenders whose containers are dishwasher-safe are the ones from the Vitamix Ascent Series:
All three models are suitable for the preparations you mentioned and are among the best Vitamix blenders for making green smoothies!

Carla
I'm in search of a sleek and user-friendly smoothie mixer. I plan on making green smoothies regularly and occasionally preparing dips, hummus, nut butter, etc. in small quantities. I'm not too concerned about having a fiber-free result.
I am leaning towards purchasing the Bianco Attivo because I find it visually appealing and it would fit well in our small kitchen. I don't necessarily need the travel function, and I think it would be quicker to make a dip if I have fewer dishes to wash. However, I enjoy making smoothies for two people that last for two days, and I'm unsure if I would find it bothersome to always make two batches. I'm also uncertain if the Attivo is powerful enough for nuts, dates, pesto, and nut butter. I want a blender that I can use for a long time.
The alternative option would be the Wartmann - more powerful with a larger container. I could prepare 2 liters at once and be assured of the quality. However, in terms of design and size, I much prefer the Attivo, and I wonder if I want to wash the larger container for small quantities every time.
What would you advise me to do?
Thank you very much!
You have already chosen two quite suitable blenders that meet your needs. The Wartmann Blender has the advantage in terms of creaminess when it comes to making green smoothies. Additionally, you can easily blend 2 liters of smoothie with it. If your primary use is for green smoothies, I would recommend the Wartmann Blender as it can also handle the other preparations you mentioned in smaller quantities.
Best regards,
Carla
I'm looking for a blender for smoothies that can handle frozen fruits without any issues. I don't really use the blender for anything else besides making smoothies. It would be great if it came with an attachment that doubles as a smoothie cup. You have so many blenders that I'm having trouble deciding, so I would appreciate your help. Thank you very much and best regards, Charlotte.
Thank you for your inquiry.
For your preparation needs, I would recommend the Bianco di Puro Attivo. In addition to a 1-liter container, the standard package also includes an additional 0.6-liter Sport-2-go mixing container with a drinking and storage lid. I believe this would be ideal for fruit smoothies with frozen fruit.

Carla

If you want to prepare larger quantities of hummus and nut butter, around 700/800 ml or more, both Vitamix blenders would be suitable for you. If you prefer smaller quantities, an additional container would be necessary. For the Vitamix Pro 750, you can get the 1.4-liter container from Vitamix, which allows for quantities starting from 400 ml of nut butter/hummus.
Update July 2023: The 1.4-liter container for the A2300i is now finally available.

can you use a vacuum pump with Vitamix blender?
It is claimed that 90% of nutrients are lost during blending. Is blending under vacuum really better? Best regards!
Thank you for your question.
There are NO vacuum pumps available for Vitamix models. I highly doubt that 90% of the nutrients are lost through blending! I would assume that the nutrient loss is much lower. A much greater nutrient loss occurs through oxidation when the smoothies are stored for a long time, so it's best to consume the smoothies freshly prepared. For all Bianco di Puro blenders, there is a vacuum pump available, which allows you to remove the oxygen from the container before blending.

Carla
Thank you very much.
Thank you for your inquiry.
Actually, all of our blenders are suitable for making hummus and nut butter. However, they differ in terms of the minimum quantity that can be prepared. If it is important for you to be able to make small amounts of nut butter or hummus (around 400 ml) without needing an additional container, I can recommend the following high-performance blenders:
While the Wartmann Blender and Vitamix TNC 5200 come with a 2-liter container that allows you to prepare both small and large quantities, the Vitamix E310 is equipped with a 1.4-liter container. This makes the E310 slightly more compact than the other two devices.
If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Carla
thank you very much for your good answer.
Since the small quantities are important for me, I have now decided to order the Uno container from you.

You have a great website.
I want to get a blender for nice cream, fruit smoothies with vegetables and herbs, dressings and soups. It is important for me that I can also mix small quantities. For example, nice cream with only one banana or smoothies for one person.
I am considering two options
A friend would give me an older hardly used Primo (without Plus, it is from 2015), and I then just buy the UNO container with it, for the small quantities.
Or the new Bianco di Puro Attivo, which I also find visually very appealing.
How are the two in comparison? Is the new Attivo better than the older, but larger Primo?
And is there perhaps a third device that I could include in the selection?
Kind regards
Thank you for the positive feedback on our website!
Regarding your questions:
1. The Uno container from Bianco di Puro is compatible with the older Bianco di Puro Primo model.
2. The Bianco di Puro Attivo would be very suitable for all the mentioned preparations. If you also want to make green smoothies with leafy greens, I would recommend the Primo model. It achieves a slightly better consistency compared to the Attivo, especially with fibrous greens like kale, parsley, or wild herbs.
3. As an alternative, take a look at the Wartmann Mixer. It has the same operation as the Bianco di Puro Primo Plus but comes with an all-around container for both large and small quantities. However, it cannot handle as small quantities as the Uno container or the Attivo.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Carla
Thank you for your inquiry.
If you want to make green smoothies with wild herbs, we would not recommend the Blendtec 800. While it is quiet due to its soundproofing cover, it is not the top choice for wild herb smoothies. Instead, we highly recommend the Vitamix Pro 750. It excels in creating the creamiest wild herb and green smoothies, completely particle-free and smooth. Choosing the right high-speed blender is crucial, especially when it comes to wild herbs. Fruit smoothies have less demanding requirements, making the Blendtec 800 a suitable option for that.
