How good is the quality of the juice?

Clear green juices

No matter what greens - celery, lettuce, spinach, herbs - the Sana Supreme 727 produces clear green juices - almost completely free of fiber residues. The juices taste full-bodied, round and smooth.

Clear vegetable and fruit juices - single-variety or as mixed juices

The Sana 727 can be used to process all kinds of fruits and vegetables into freshly squeezed juices. Pure or mixed. The juice consistency is clear, without much foaming and with a full-bodied, smooth taste.

Ginger and/or turmeric shots

Is the Sana Supreme 727 capable of producing celery juice?

If you have been to our website before, you know that we are especially keen on celery juice. That's why every slow juicer is required to go through the celery juicer test, the fibrous long stalks can definitely be called the Champions League of juicing. Normally: In terms of juice yield, horizontal juicers with a single auger perform slightly inferior to juicers with two augers or vertical slow juicers. Not the Sana 727. In our celery juice juicer test, the Sana 727 ranked in the top third of all tested juicers, securing the 4th place.

Important prerequisite for maximum celery juice yield:
The celery stalks must be cut into 1-2 cm long pieces for juicing; juicing is done on speed 1 at 40 rpm. This not only gets the most juice out of the stalks, but also produces celery juice with virtually no fiber residue or foam.

What other preparation possibilities are there?

The standard scope of delivery of the Sana Supreme 727 includes two additional screens: the coarse screen for thick juices and nut milks, and the blank screen for homogenizing and pureeing one or more ingredients. The Sana 727 can be used for a number of other preparations.

Operation & handling of the Sana Supreme 727

The Sana Supreme EUJ-727 is easy to assemble, only 4 parts needed to be put together. First, the juice drum including the hopper is attached to the motor block with the locking ring by turning it counterclockwise - it locks into place. Now insert your screen of choice. Attach the locking flap to the opening of the juice drum with a counterclockwise turn. Now open the cover and position the juice and pulp containers. That's it. You are ready to start juicing.

Speed level 1 for clear juices with maximum juice yield

To produce clear juices with maximum juice yield, it is recommended to use speed level 1 at 40 rpm. Chop the ingredients into 1-2 cm pieces - especially fibrous ingredients such as celery, herbs, chard or lettuce. However, cutting also is useful for fruits such as pineapples and apples. This helps to prevent the ingredients from blocking the juice drum. The fine screen should be used for juicing.

Fine screen, lowest speed and small-cut ingredients - this is how we consistently achieved the best juice result with the Sana 727 in terms of clear consistency and juice yield.

To do this, turn the jog dial on the side of the motor block to level 1 and place the finely chopped ingredients into the hopper. If necessary, use the tamper to push the ingredients towards the auger. Now, in the first step, the ingredients are crushed and then squeezed out by rotating them against the screen. The pulp compactor ensures that every drop of juice is extracted from the ingredients. The juicing process is complete when no more pulp or juice comes out of the slow juicer. Now close the flap, remove the juice jug and pour the juice into your favorite drinking vessel. Whether it's a glass for direct consumption or a bottle for storage, you'll love your juice.

Speed levels 2-4 for homogenizing or pureeing

In our opinion, the other speed levels are suitable for other preparations, such as making nut milks (level 3-4) or sorbets (level 3). If the standard scope of delivery is supplemented by the Sana 702 oil press attachment, speed level 4 is the effective speed for the production of cold-pressed oil.

Continuous operation possible: The Sana Supreme 727 is equipped with a brushless industrial motor, therefore there is no runtime limitation as with other juicers - which have to pause after 15 to 30 minutes.

If the juice drum is clogged, press the REV button

Soft juice ingredients in particular, such as mealy apples, zucchini, ripe pears or pineapple, can jam in the juice drum. To avoid this, the ingredients should be juiced in small pieces. However, if the juice drum is clogged, the REV function can solve the problem by making the auger rotate backwards. To do this, turn the control dial to the left and keep it set to the REV function until the jam is cleared. Then continue juicing again at level 1.

Tip: The easiest way to prevent an ingredient jam in the Sana 727 is to juice soft ingredients alternately with hard ingredients such as carrots, beet or leafy greens.

Cleaning the Sana Supreme 727

The Sana Supreme 727 can be cleaned easily and quickly within 2-3 minutes. Before disassembling the juice drum, make sure that the flap is closed so that no more juice residues can drip out of the juice drum. Now detach the juice drum including all parts from the motor block by pressing the release button and place it in the sink. Now disassemble the juicer into its individual parts. Before cleaning the parts with water, we recommend removing larger ingredient residues with your hands directly into the organic waste. Then rinse all juicer parts with lukewarm water. Please make sure that no ingredient residues remain in the pulp regulator inside the cap. Brush the screen with the supplied cleaning brush until no more pulp remains in the screen. Empty the pulp jar and rinse it together with the juice jug. Either place all parts on a kitchen towel to dry or dry them by hand and reassemble the juicer.

Attention: The juicer parts - including juice jug - are not dishwasher safe!

Sana oil pressing 702

The Sana Supreme 727 has been designed in a way that it can also be used for other preparations in the kitchen. With the Sana Oil Press Attachment 702, the Sana 727 can be used to prepare homemade, cold-pressed, fresh oils such as linseed oil, almond oil or walnut oil. Here, the Sana 727's flexible speed level regulation comes in handy. The oil is squeezed at 120 rpm on level 4 to achieve a perfect result.

The Sana 727 can also be converted into a grain mill. Sana is working on developing its own attachment for this purpose. We are curious, because freshly ground grain or flour is clearly more aromatic.

Sana Supreme vs. Sana Juicer by Omega 707

Advantages of the Sana Supreme 727 over the Sana Juicer by Omega 707:

1. Higher celery juice yield: In our In our celery juice juicer test, the Sana Supreme extracted an average of 397 ml of celery juice from 500 g of celery stalks, while the Sana 707 with the celery juice attachment yielded 360 ml of juice - that is, nearly 10 percent less celery juice.
2. More convenience: Two new features make the Sana Supreme even more convenient than the Sana 707 in terms of daily handling. Advantages of the Sana Supreme 727 over the Angel Juicer:

1. Good juice yield at much lower price: the Sana Supreme scores with a very good juice yield (2nd place in our celery juice juicer test), as well as with a significantly lower price compared to the Angel Juicer. This advantage is even more potent when you look at the generous scope of delivery of the Sana Supreme: 3 screen inserts for more preparation possibilities. The Angel Juicer is only equipped with the fine screen for juicing; additional screens must be purchased separately.
2. Easy handling: The Sana Supreme can be assembled in no time and, above all, cleaned in just 2-3 minutes. With the Angel Juicer, it's definitely a different story: Assembling the twin auger requires fingertip feeling, juicing hard ingredients such as carrots or beetroot requires the use of the tamper and cleaning also is much more time-consuming.
