I’m looking for a countertop blender for home use, mainly for green smoothies, nut butter, ice, and soup. My favorite so far is the Vitamix E520. During my research, I also came across the KitchenAid Artisan. Have you had a chance to test that one?
Best regards,
Christian
thank you very much for your inquiry.
Based on our experience, the KitchenAid Artisan models are not suitable for making nut butter or ice cream. Due to the vertical walls of the container, it is nearly impossible to work deep enough with the tamper to move the ingredients towards the blades when making nut butter, for example. The Vitamix E520 doesn’t have this issue at all, which is why it excels not only in making incredibly creamy green smoothies but also in handling thicker consistencies where the tamper comes into play.
Best regards,
Carla
I am looking for a blender for commercial use, specifically for making coffee-based frappés. I have looked at the blender comparison of Blendtec Professional, Vitamix 2300i, and Bianco di Puro Gusto S. The Blendtec is described as quiet, but it does not have a dbA specification and receives the lowest score in that discipline out of the three. Is it really the loudest of them? Otherwise, it seems to fit well. Bianco di Puro also offers the Gusto Alpha, but that is missing on your website. What can you say about that, other than it being cheaper and less attractive than the Gusto S?
Regards,
Stephanie
thank you for your attentive reading. The gremlin of errors sneaked in with us. The loudest blender of the 3 mentioned is, of course, the Vitamix A2300i.
The Gusto Alpha comes with a classic AC motor, which is a bit louder than the Brushless-DC motors of the Gusto S (hence also more affordable). With the more expensive Bianco-di-Puro models, we primarily see the Brushless-DC motor as a unique feature, as it is low-wear and somewhat quieter. It is a bit slower, but when it comes to frappes, it doesn't make a difference. The distinction becomes noticeable with cabbage or wild herb smoothies.
I hope I could help you a bit!
Best regards,
Carla
how long is the delivery time for the Omega Juicer 8228?
Is it in stock?
Best regards,
Grazyna
thank you for your question.
Yes, we have the Omega Juicer 8228 in stock, and it is available for immediate delivery. You can find it here.

I'm really struggling to find the right high-speed blender because it seems like my requirements don't all align... My goal is to make green smoothies and nice cream for the whole family (6 people). I would prefer a blender with a glass container (and as plastic-free as possible overall) and preferably under €200. The market is overwhelmingly large, and I've been researching for months... Do you have any suggestions for me?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards!
Aside from the budget limit, I see glass as the biggest challenge in finding suitable devices. The current devices with glass containers are only partially suitable for green smoothies and certainly not for nice cream.
If we disregard the budget limit and the glass requirement, our most affordable recommendation would be the Wartmann Blender with a 2-liter container.
Best regards and have a great weekend!
Carla
I would like to ask you if you have Nama
Juicer J2 in the stock? If yes - is there any chance to ship to Croatia?
Kind regards
thank you very much for your inquiry.
We do not have the Nama Juicer J2 in our store, because we sell the original - the Hurom H-320N. This is not only identical in construction to the Nama Juicer J2, but almost identical in look and handling. Both devices are manufactured by Hurom - the Nama Juicer variant is manufactured by Hurom for a wholesaler explicitly for the North American market, who markets this device under the name Nama.
Of course you can order the Hurom H-320N from us - we also deliver to Croatia.
Kind regards,
Carla
thank you for pointing out the phone number. We can be reached at +493044793423.
And yes! You can order the container of the E310 separately from us: 1.4 Liter Container
Kind regards
Carla
Do You sell 1.4l jug for vitamix ascent series also?
Sincerely
Taavi
not yet. It is announced for this year, but we have been hearing that for years. Sorry.
Best regards
Carla
thank you for your reply.
All my love
Thank you for your lovely feedback. I wouldn't recommend juicing oranges with their peels because the peel can add a bitter and strong flavor. However, using a piece of lemon or lime with the peel on works great - both in freshly squeezed juice and smoothies.
Warm regards,
Carla
I have a question. How can one get their hands on the devices you present and recommend? Is it possible to order them from you and have them shipped as well? I don't have any stores nearby where I can purchase these. I live in Saxony, so even picking them up is a bit far. Thank you very much for your efforts.
Best regards,
Ulrike Gerdes

thank you for your inquiry. We are very familiar with Bianco and Vitamix blenders - in fact, we test pretty much everything on the high-speed blender market that shows promise. Since we only sell what we can wholeheartedly endorse - meaning products we would buy ourselves - not every blender makes it into our shop.
When considering your requirements, one device stands out to me - the Vitamix E310. It is not as tall, as it comes with a 1.4-liter container that allows you to make nut butter starting from just 350 ml. Additionally, it is excellent for green smoothies, nice cream, hummus, or pesto - (these recipes also work well in smaller quantities. As for the Bianco Primo - more affordable, with a nice compact size and a 1.5-liter container - the minimum blending size for thicker textures is over 500 ml. If this does not bother you, this blender could also be a suitable option for you. However, it only comes with a 2-year warranty compared to the Vitamix E310's 5-year warranty!
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us anytime!

I am interested in a high-speed blender, mainly for green smoothies and almond milk. Would you recommend the Vitamix 750 to me? Thank you very much in advance!
Thank you for your question. The Vitamix Pro 750 is the best blender for green smoothies! Even fibrous ingredients like cabbage, parsley, or wild herbs blend into a perfectly smooth consistency. Therefore, it's a definite purchase recommendation. Naturally, you can also prepare delicious almond milk and any other nut milk with it.
Best regards,
Carla
I have the Vitamix Pro 750 and I need a smaller attachment, a 1.4-liter container - would that fit?
I live in Switzerland; do you have a store near the Swiss border where I could buy something like that? If not, how much would it cost if you were to ship it to Switzerland?
Thank you for the information.
Kind regards,
Iben
Thank you for your question. The 1.4-liter container is compatible with your Vitamix Pro 750. Unfortunately, we do not have a store near the Swiss border. We offer free shipping to Switzerland for orders over 150 Euros.
In Switzerland, you will need to pay additional customs fees. Besides the base fee of CHF 11.50, there is also a surcharge of 3% on the declared value of the goods (excluding import duties and customs clearance).
For example, if our package is valued at CHF 400.00:
Base fee: CHF 11.50 (regardless of the value of the goods)
Surcharge: CHF 12.00 (equivalent to 3% of the declared value)
Customs clearance fee: CHF 23.50 (total fees)
Additionally, Swiss VAT of 7% must, of course, be paid.
Overall, you can expect a total surcharge of approximately 10% plus CHF 11.50 on the value of the goods, which will be displayed in your shopping cart when delivering to Switzerland.
Best regards,
Carla
I would like to buy a high-speed blender in 2020, but I'm uncertain about which brand or model would be best for me. Since I live quite far away, I thought I’d just reach out to you here.
I would like to make soups, fruit smoothies, green smoothies, as well as nut butter and nice cream (so frozen items too) without having to worry if the blender can handle it or if I’ll send it to an early demise, ugh.
I’m really overwhelmed by the options on the market (and all the vastly different price ranges), so maybe you can recommend something?
Thank you so much!
I had exactly the same problem.
Short version:
- Buy yourself a high-speed blender; it's always worth it.
- Overall, all the blenders sold here are great.
- Close your eyes and imagine the postman ringing your doorbell and bringing a package; you open the package, which blender do you see?
- You can either go to the GrueneSmoothies store to check out the blenders or take advantage of a 45-day return policy (purchase through gruenesmoothies.com).
- Every Vitamix is fantastic; I can recommend it to you and a friend (so you don't necessarily need the A3500i).
- Pay attention to the equipment you need.
- The order of the ingredients you use is very important (liquid to solid to frozen).
- After that, have a lot of fun with your blender!
Long version:
After years of blending with mid-range devices in the price range of €75-150, I could have just bought a high-speed blender right away. I decided to take the plunge and purchase a high-speed blender.
I ultimately chose a Vitamix because:
- 7-10 years warranty
- Overwhelming quality and reviews
- Option to use a tamper
- Chance to return it within 45 days (when purchased through gruenesmoothies.com)
My Ascent 3500i
Chops everything wonderfully.
So far, I've made soups, nice cream, green and red smoothies, and smoothie bowls.
Tomorrow, I'm making chocolate-date cream and nut butter!
A friend has an old Vitamix, and everything works just as well.
What I've found is that every Vitamix is suitable for almost everything.
The slightly more horsepower in the newer models doesn't make a significant difference compared to my friend's old Vitamix.
If you decide on a Vitamix, keep in mind that there is currently no small-neck 1.4 L container available on the EU market for the Ascent Series.
And the tamper is still the old S1 tamper, which works quite well but isn’t the S2 tamper :).
I'm having a blast with my Vitamix, even though I don't have an S2 tamper, and I can hardly wait to try it out with the 1.4 L wet container.
It's just incredible what this device can do.
thank you for your comment.
In any case, I hope you continue to enjoy the A3500i!
Best regards,
Carla
thank you so much for your comment!
I completely understand where you're coming from. The range of options available nowadays is so vast that it's easy to lose track.
The first thing to keep in mind is that if you want to make green smoothies, you'll need a high-speed blender. The blending challenge is definitely greater than with fruit smoothies or soups.
Have you had a chance to check out our Smoothie Maker Buying Guide? There, we explain the key criteria to consider when purchasing a high-speed blender.
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out!
Warm regards and wishing you a Happy New Year,
Carla
Two questions: Can you grind eggshells in the Vitamix TNC? Can you process some eggshells along with the vegetables, etc., into a smoothie? Will they be fine enough?
Best regards,
Wolfram
Thank you very much for your questions. Pulverizing eggshells is no problem in the Vitamix TNC 5200! I just tested it with the shell of one egg. Important: Please wash and dry the shell beforehand.
Otherwise, I'm not familiar with the use of eggshells or their consumption. Just try it out and see if it feels good for you together in the green smoothie.
Best regards,
Carla
Can I also process walnuts into oil with the Angel Juicer?
Best regards,
D. Israel
Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately, that is not possible. A slow juicer that can also press oil with an additional attachment is the Sana Juicer EUJ-707.
Here is the link to the matching Sana oil press.
Best regards,
Carla
unfortunately, I live in the south of Germany and cannot use your on-site service. I'm looking for a blender that can process carrots, pineapple, celery, and grasses into smoothies without any problem. Had considered buying a WMF blender, but the reviews are mostly scathing. What inexpensive blender do you guys recommend that gets these ingredients small? Since I use the blender 2-4 a week, I don't want to spend too much, yet get good results. Favor the Bianco Piano or Bianco Plus.
Would be very happy to get some feedback.
Kind regards,
B. Kühnle
Both of your favourite blenders can process the above ingredients into a creamy green smoothie. The great thing about the Piano is that the included container is multifunctional, meaning you can also prepare small quantities – liquids from 250 ml, thicker consistencies such as Nicecream from 400 ml. This is an advantage over the Primo Plus.
Kind regards, Carla
