What are the best high-speed blender brands?
While for decades only Vitamix claimed the high-speed blender market for itself, another brand emerged in Germany with the rise of the vegan and green smoothie trend: Bianco di Puro from Cologne. The latter positioned itself as an alternative for those who simply cannot warm up to the old classic design of Vitamix. A little later, Wartmann from the Netherlands entered the German market, trying to gain market share with an extremely good price-performance ratio. Anyone looking for a high-speed blender of the best quality can hardly avoid one of these three brands. A big plus of these brands is also the high availability of spare parts and accessories.
How can I recognize a good high-speed blender?
It blends green smoothies particle-free. This means that even fibrous leafy greens like wild herbs and kale or the seeds of raspberries, passion fruits, or goji berries are blended to a creamy-smooth consistency. In addition, each of our blenders has different strengths, so it can be worthwhile to get an overview:

To make nut butter, I would recommend a high-speed blender with a narrow container, as this allows you to prepare smaller quantities (from 400 ml) of nut butter, like the Vitamix E310 or the Wartmann Blender. If small preparation amounts aren’t important to you, the Vitamix E320 or the Vitamix E520 could also be the right blender for you.
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out again.
Best regards,
Carla
does the Vitamix E310 also have a turbo button like the Vitamix TNC 5200?
Regards,
Heike
thank you for your question. The Vitamix E310 does not have a turbo button. Only the Vitamix TNC 5200 is equipped with a turbo button.
Best regards,
Carla
I am joining the question about a high-speed blender that can also be used to make "sticky energy balls." I have already ruined 2 kitchen appliances with this attempt and definitely want to use a high-speed blender. Is there a device that is up to this challenge? Which one would you recommend if one would be willing to spend a bit more money if necessary?
Thank you and best regards,
Sabine
thank you for your inquiry.
If you are looking to make very sticky doughs, we recommend getting a food processor. It is much better suited for handling sticky and drier consistencies, as it can deliver a lot of power even at a lower speed - which is needed, for example, for making energy balls.
If you want to make such doughs with a high-speed blender, you will need a lot of patience and more liquid. The blender quickly switches to its heat protection mode to protect its motor, and the dough will definitely become a bit softer.
Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions!
Best wishes,
Carla
Thank you for your response. I have now looked at several food processors and am really unsure if this is the right solution for me. I would also like to put oven vegetables in the blender and puree them into a sauce. And of course, make hummus, as already mentioned. From your selection, I think the Bianco di Puro Primo U would be suitable for my needs. What do you think? Do you have any other suggestions?
of course, with the Bianco di Puro Primo U, you can make hummus or other thick preparations like pesto, nice cream, or baby food. However, these are preparations where it is always necessary to add sufficient liquid, which is why they can also be made very well with a high-speed blender. The problem arises with sticky, tough, and rather dry doughs. For these, food processors are the better alternative.
Kind regards,
Carla
I am looking for a blender that can create creamy spreads and dips. I am thinking of hummus, sun-dried tomatoes, herb butter, as well as ice cream made from frozen fruits, etc. This means that the result should not be too liquid, but rather creamy. (With my current blender, I have to add too much liquid for it to blend properly.)
If the blender can also manage to finely chop dates with nuts to a homogeneous mixture, that would be fantastic.
Is there something available for under 500€?
thank you for your inquiry. I would recommend a food processor rather than a high-speed blender. A high-speed blender is THE specialist when it comes to pureeing fruits, vegetables, nuts, etc. with enough liquid to achieve a creamy texture. Especially if you plan to make drier dips and spreads or work with dates and nuts, a blender can quickly reach its limits if there isn't enough liquid present and it switches to the heat protection mode. A food processor can also deliver a lot of power for mixing/pureeing/homogenizing, but at a lower speed.
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions.
Best regards,
Carla
I am looking for a blender for a household of 6 people, especially for making smoothies and pesto. The blender should have a good value for money and easy availability of spare parts. It will be used every day (our Thermomix doesn't blend the smoothies very smoothly).
You have a great selection available. I would greatly appreciate a recommendation. Thank you and regards,
Christoph
thank you for your inquiry. I would recommend the Vitamix E520 to you. The E520 comes with the 2-liter Pro container, making it perfect volume-wise for a larger household. Due to its wide container base, this container not only has a compact height but also exceptionally long blade wings, ensuring an excellent blending result. Green smoothies are not only fiber-free but also achieve a wonderfully creamy and fluffy consistency. You can operate the E520 manually or use one of the three convenient preset programs for smoothies, soups, and ice cream. The device is backed by a 7-year Vitamix full warranty on all parts including the container and tamper.
Compared to all other Vitamix blenders with the same features, the Vitamix E520 is attractively priced.
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out!

Carla
I have the KitchenAid blender, which has its limitations. I make green smoothies, grind nuts into powder, use fruits, frozen fruits, and ice. What do you think would be suitable? Oh, durability and longevity are also important to me.
Thank you very much for your response.
Gabi
thank you for your inquiry. I would recommend the Vitamix E310 or the Vitamix TNC 5200 for you. Both blenders come with an all-round container that allows you to make small to medium quantities (Vitamix E310) or small to large quantities (Vitamix TNC 5200) of the mentioned preparations.
The TNC 5200 is undoubtedly the most robust Vitamix available on the market - practically indestructible.
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions!

Carla
which high-speed blender has a removable blade block?
Thank you & best regards
the Bianco di Puro Attivo is equipped with a removable knife block.
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out again!

I've been making my own purees for over 30 years, but up to now, I've been using a professional hand blender. It certainly packs a punch and gets everything finely chopped, but for example, peanut butter still had a slightly gritty texture.
Now I've purchased a used, but lightly used Vitamix Pro 300 from 2016, with a 2L wet and 0.9L dry container. I also bought the 1.4L container from you.
It's an absolute beast of a machine, but in the best way possible. It blitzes everything in seconds. I've never had peanut butter so smooth in my entire life.
If it ever becomes irreparably damaged, I would definitely buy another Vitamix without question.
Best regards, Holger
thank you very much for your comment. It's wonderful to hear that you are so satisfied with your Vitamix Pro 300 and that your peanut butter turned out so well. We are happy for you!
Warm regards,
Carla.
I would like to be able to enjoy my smoothie even while on vacation or on the go, and I've seen that there are very small blenders, some even with USB charging. Have you already tested these and do you have a recommendation for purchase?
Greetings from Ulrike
Thank you for your inquiry. I have not tested a to-go blender that can be charged via USB yet. Therefore, I cannot provide a personal recommendation. However, such models are similar to the Hurom Mini Blender - maybe still an option for you?
Best regards,
Carla
thank you for your inquiry.
Both blenders - Primo S and Wartmann Blender - can be used for making green smoothies, nut milk, and spreads. With the Wartmann Blender, you have the advantage of being able to make smaller quantities due to its narrow tapered container shape. This might be interesting for you, especially when making spreads. The Wartmann Blender starts at 350/400 ml; with the Primo, you're looking at a minimum of 500/600 ml.
When it comes to making very sticky doughs like for energy balls, you will need a lot of patience and liquid with a high-speed blender. The blender quickly switches to heat protection mode to protect its motor. For such preparations, food processors are better devices as they can achieve high performance in mixing/pureeing/homogenizing even at lower speeds.

a food processor is a multi-function device that takes over cutting tasks in the kitchen, in particular. These devices grate, slice, chop, knead, and shred... Unlike a high-speed blender, you can also make sticky dough preparations with it, such as for Energy Balls.
Best regards,
Carla
first of all, thank you for your great work. I am still wavering between the Bianco di Puro Primo blender and the Wartmann Allround blender. I need the blender for daily green smoothies in various quantities and for homemade nut milk and spreads. Can you help me further?
Warm regards.
I'm interested in the Vitamix E320. Is it available in white? Does it come with a glass container, or is a plastic one better?
thank you very much for your inquiry.
The Vitamix E320 is currently only available in black and with a BPA-free Tritan plastic container.
Best regards,
Carla
thank you for your inquiry. No, currently there is no glass container available for the Vitamix Pro 750.
Best regards,
Carla
I am looking for a quiet and compact blender that is also suitable for nuts. Do you have one like that?
Kind regards and thank you,
Nata
Thank you for your inquiry.
Take a look at the Bianco Attivo. It is an extremely compact blender with a 1-liter container and small Mix-Go containers (250ml, 400ml, and 600ml) that are also included in the standard delivery. With this, you can create all your favorite blender creations and, of course, grind nuts too.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!
Best regards,
Carla
Is the Bianco Attivo also quiet?
Thanks for the info,
Nata
the Bianco Attivo is absolutely average in terms of noise level.
Best regards,
Carla
thank you for your question. Unfortunately, I can't recommend a guide for making oat milk. All the recipes I know and have tried have tasted quite bland, almost like water. But maybe you would like to try our almond milk recipes?
Best regards,
Carla
I want to replace my current mixer because I am hopeful that with a different blender that you list here, I might achieve different results? Currently, I have a Philips blender that I have had for several years (but never used). I am actually satisfied with the results, but I wonder if maybe I should get another one, especially since I want to drink green smoothies. Or is it nonsense to buy a new one for this purpose, if I am happy with the current one...? I don't really want to spend more than 300 €.
Thanks in advance.
Warm regards,
Yuki
Thank you for your inquiry. We started our website and shop back then because creating a creamy-smooth green smoothie requires a powerful blender. So, it is absolutely right for you to ask about that.
Based on your budget, I would recommend the Wartmann Blender to you. Additionally, you have the option here to choose the mixer with a 1.4-liter container (Compact version) or with a 2-liter container (Standard version).
If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out again!
Best regards,
Carla
For example, I would also like to blend oats. With my current mixer, I have the feeling that they are not completely crushed and are still slightly noticeable. Or maybe no mixer in my price range can handle that...?
Best regards
Oats are absolutely no problem for a powerful blender - they are completely finely pureed.
I recommended the Wartmann blender to you for reasons of price and because the container is more multifunctional in terms of preparation quantities.
The Primo S has a container with a wider base, meaning the minimum preparation quantities are larger than with the Wartmann blender. However, if that is not relevant to you, the Primo S would also be suitable for you.
Best regards,
Carla
Unfortunately, not yet!
Best regards,
Carla
which blender is "Made in Europe" or even better "Made in Germany"? Unfortunately, it is not visible.
Thank you and best regards,
Ulf Gunkel.
Thank you for your question. None of our blenders are made in Europe, let alone Germany. The Vitamix blenders and Blendtec blenders are manufactured in the USA, while Wartmann and Bianco have their devices produced in China.
Best regards,
Carla
I have read and compared a lot, but I still can't make a decision. My son likes to blend frozen fruits with yogurt. So far, every device we've tried has struggled with this in the long run. Which of your blenders can you recommend to me?
Warm regards
thank you for your inquiry. You might be better off with a food processor rather than a blender. The mixture of frozen fruits and yogurt can be too thick for a blender, causing it to automatically go into thermal protection mode to protect the motor, which can eventually wear it out. A food processor can still provide a lot of power for blending/pureeing/homogenizing, but at a lower speed.
Best regards,
Carla
I make a kind of cream with 100g of oat flakes, seeds, protein powder, 150-200g of frozen fruits, ice cubes, and 200-300ml of water. This already yields about 1.5L or more of cream.
I liked the appearance of the Bianco, and the operation was okay. However, it was already pushing its limits at times. Can the Wartmann handle more? It seems very similar.
Thank you for your inquiry.
The Wartmann blender is structured similarly to the Bianco Piano and is also quite powerful. Perhaps the Piano had some difficulties with the frozen fruits? This can happen, for example, when using frozen bananas that were frozen in large pieces. In general, it is recommended to let the frozen fruits thaw slightly.
As an alternative to the Wartmann blender, I can recommend the Vitamix E320. It is definitely more powerful and has a compact 2-liter container.
Best regards,
Carla
I have also been considering the Vitamix.
Today, I came across the new attachment for Blendtec blenders that allows you to froth cold milk. I believe that using this attachment (after quickly blending everything), the desired cream or froth will be created best. Unfortunately, I don't like the devices at all, especially not the touch function.
I'll just come by later.
Best regards,
Peter
yes, you're welcome to come by!
Warm regards,
Carla
