"The TNC has been built for almost thirty years, relying on a completely analog operating concept. If you can do without programs and digital bells and whistles, you won't find a better machine than the TNC 5200. My favorite blender and my absolute recommendation."

- Crushed-Ice
Choose the right container!
We exclusively offer the possibility to choose the perfect container for your needs. There are two options available: Either you can choose the Vitamix TNC 5200 Classic with a 2-liter container, or you can opt for the slightly more compact alternative with the 1.4-liter container. In the following, we will present the two choices so that you know exactly which container is best suited for you:
- Multifunctional: The Vitamix TNC 5200 Classic with 2.0 liter container
The 2.0 liter container allows you to prepare all common blender preparations in both, small and large quantities. Liquid preparations such as green smoothies, soups, shakes or plant milks can be made from approx. 250 ml; viscous or paste-like preparations such as pesto, hummus, nut butter or nicecream are possible from as little as approx. 400 ml. A clear advantage when preparing ice cream creations that must be consumed à la minute. Other preparations that do not have a long shelf life are usually produced in small quantities as well, e. G. hummus. - Multifunctional, but compact: The Vitamix TNC 5200 Classic with 1.4 liter container
If you're looking for a compact, multifunctional blender, combine the Vitamix TNC 5200 Classic with the 1.4 liter container. With an overall height of only 44.2 cm (instead of 52 cm), it is guaranteed to fit under any wall cabinet. The narrow-tapered container can also be used for all popular blender preparations - green smoothies, vegetable smoothies, shakes, nut milks, nicecream, pesto, dips or hummus. The minimum preparation quantity for liquids is approx. 250 ml and for viscous liquids approx. 400 ml. The only difference to the 2.0 liter container: 1,400 ml maximum capacity, which is why the container is smaller.
Operation & handling of the Vitamix TNC 5200 Classic:
The Vitamix has a real ON/OFF switch on the right side of the control panel. The jog dial in the center controls the 10 speed levels and is variably adjustable. The left puls button is pressed in order to reach the maximum speed.
However, the puls function can also be started by simply turning on the blender on the right and setting it to max- speed. We really appreciate this function for tuning dishes, for example, when adding some more oil or liquid to hummus.

How loud is the Vitamix TNC 5200 Classic ?
The TNC 5200 is naturally loudest on the highest speed level. In our test with 1.5 liters of water, it was about 85 dB, which is completely inconspicuous in its performance class. If you like it quieter, just work with lower speed levels.
Cleaning the Vitamix TNC 5200 Classic:
Cleaning the Vitamix TNC 5200 Classic container
The container should be rinsed under running water right after blending.
Deep Cleaning with Bakiing Soda:
If the mixing container becomes slightly discolored over time, for example, due to frequent blending of leafy greens, herbs, and wild herbs, we recommend a deep cleaning with baking soda.
For the cleaning instructions with baking soda.
Cleaning the Vitamix TNC 5200 Classic motor block
The rubber mat on which the container sits can be removed and cleaned under running water. The rest of the housing can be wiped with a damp cloth.
Recommended accessories for the Vitamix TNC 5200 Classic:
Vitamix Aer Disc Container Classic
The Vitamix Aer Disc Container Classic is a real upgrade for your kitchen, TV gourmet creations are no longer unreachable. Perfected for emulsifying, foaming, stirring and whipping, it can be used to make hollandaise sauce, fine emulsions and gourmet foams or simply cream.
Vitamix Dry Grains Container Classic for coffee or cereals
We recommend the Vitamix Dry Grains Container Classic (dry container) if you are planning to regularly grind coffee or grains. For occasional grinding, the included container is sufficient (!), but the container becomes blind/cloudy over time. A opaque container is a no-go for some preparations as the consistency must be closely observed during the blending process.
If the TNC 5200 and the grinding container are purchased at the same time, you will receive a discount on the grinding container (displayed in shopping cart). In addition, the warranty for the grinding container is extended from 3 to 7 years. If you are thinking about purchasing the grinding container, it is best to buy it at the same time as the TNC 5200.
We like to call The Puls edition the Vitamix SUPER TNC 5200. The blender is the same, however, because of the additional container we like to call this package the SUPER TNC 5200.
<3>Vitamix Personal Cup Adapter: Turn your Vitamix into a personal blender!3>The Vitamix Personal Cup Adapter turns your Vitamix blender into a real personal blender. With the Mix & Go container, you can prepare shakes, smoothies or baby food up to 600 ml and use the double-walled container as a drinking cup or transport container for on the go. Another advantage: The Mix & Go container can of course also be used to prepare small amounts of salsas, pestos or dips and even for grinding coffee or grains.
Cleaning Brush
For cleaning the container we recommand our cleaning brush, as viscose preparations tend to stick to the base of the blades (this happens with all blenders).

Hello, can the TNC5200 grind coffee or espresso beans? The finer, the better!
Question submitted by marie on July 14, 2022 at 19:05 o'clock
Hello Marie,
thank you very much for your question.
Grinding coffee and grains with a high-speed blender is not a problem. However, there are two points to consider. First, there is the blending time. With a conventional coffee grinder, the coffee powder directly ends ups in the collection container. In the blender, on the other hand, it is ground finer and finer the longer you blend. Therefore, the right blending time must be found so that the powder has the desired consistency at the end.
All containers of our devices are made of Tritan. Coffee and grains can leave micro-scratches in the Tritan, which will make the container go blind over time. If you grind frequently and the look of the container bothers you, we recommend the additional purchase of a dry/grinding container.

Greetings,
this model grinds the leaf mass completely?
For me, the preservation of nutrients is more important than the creaminess of the result.
Thanks in advance!
Question submitted by Tamara on March 11, 2021 at 10:50 o'clock
Hello Tamara,
Thank you very much for your message
The high blade tip speed of the TNC 5200 ensures that the ingredients are finely blended. The result is a creamy, fine consistency that we like to call characteristic of high-quality blenders. This fine creamy consistency allows optimal nutrient absorption!

Hello,
we are puréeing kidney beans frequently at the moment. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well with our current blender.
Does this machine manage this without any problems?
Best regards
Question submitted by Oliver on February 16, 2021 at 15:27 o'clock
Hello Oliver,
thank you very much for your message.
Kidney beans are no problem for the TNC
Put the soft-boiled beans with water (depending on the desired consistency) into the blender. Start the blending process on low speed and slowly turn up to maximum.
Use the tamper to push the ingredients towards the blades and blend until the beans have reached a creamy consistency.

Hello, what is the difference between the Vitamix TNC5200and the Vitamix TNC?
Question submitted by C.G. on November 21, 2020 at 12:57 o'clock
Hello C.G.,
thank you very much for the question.
There is no difference between the two models. 5200 is the generation designation. For example, there once was the TNC 5000, but it has been discontinued.

Dear Green Smoothies Team
I would like to order the Vitamix TNC 5200. But I still have a few questions:
1. Do you deliver to Switzerland? If so, how much are the shipping costs?
2. I do not tolerate gluten and would like to make flour from lentils, rice, chickpeas. Can the Vitamix TNC 5200 do that?
I look forward to your answer
Best regards
Question submitted by Daria on April 14, 2020 at 10:44 o'clock
Hello Daria,
thank you for your message – I am happy to answer your questions!:-)
Deliver to Switzerland is free of charge if the order value is above €149,00.
You can easily process lentils, rice, chickpeas, etc. in the TNC 5200. However, if you grind harder foods in the container more often, it can lead to the container going blind (plastic becomes cloudy) over time.

Good evening
I am unsure whether to buy the Vitamix E310 or the Vitamix 5200. (How come you still have the TNC 5200?). We are a family of 5 – Do you think I should buy an extra container with E310?
I'm already accepted the high prices of these high-speed blenders. However, I would like to prepare quantities of 250ml regularly. Is it difficult to get these smaller quantities out of the large 2l container of the 5200?
What would you recommend?
Thank you and best regards.
Question submitted by Brigida on February 28, 2020 at 22:00 o'clock
Hello Brigida,
thank you very much for your message.
Vitamix is currently focusing on the new ASCENT series. However, we continue to stand behind the "older" models. The seven year warranty on the TNC and the 5 year warranty on the E310 are ensured. Unfortunately, we do not know how long spare parts will be available after the end of the warranty period, but this also applies to the ASCENT series.
The containers can be easily emptied with the spatula we offer. Both the 1.4l container (E310) and the 2l Classic container (TNC 5200). Due to the compact size, the spatula can easily reach the bottom of the container.
Thus, in your case, I would recommend the Vitamix TNC 5200 (rather blend once).

Hello dear team,
i have a question about the Vitamix TNC 5200 that I am interested in. I noticed that the blender is often no longer offered and it seems like a discontinued model that is no longer produced (such as the Bianco Piano). There are some more modern versions out there after all. How long after the warranty period do you think this model will still be supported (e.g. in terms of spare parts)? And another question about the Ascent 2300i: what disadvantages would it have compared to the old TNC 5200? Thanks for your help, Michael
Question submitted by Michael on August 23, 2019 at 13:40 o'clock
Hello dear Michael,
thank you very much for your question.
Vitamix is focusing on the new ASCENT series, but we continue to stand behind the “classic” models. The seven-year warranty is guaranteed. How long spare parts will be available after the end of the warranty period, we unfortunately also do not know.
The A2300i container is somewhat more limited: Larger minimum quantity of 500 ml. But finer(!) Smoothies and more practical in everyday use (filling and cleaning). Thanks to the fact that it is not so high, it fits into any sink without interfering with the tap.

Hello dear team of gruenesmoothies.com,
I am interested in the Vitamix TNC 5200, but I still have some questions:
1. On the Internet, there still is information that some Vitamix blenders produce black plastic particles during the blending process. No one wants to have these Teflon residues in his smoothie, especially because they are harmful to health. As far as I know, this problem existed in all devices produced between 2007 and 2016. What information do you have on this? Can you assure/guarantee me that this concern has finally been eliminated by Vitamix and that you can now buy all blenders from Vitamix again without any concerns? When was the 5200 blender produced that I can buy here?
2. What are the differences with the Vitamix 7500 and for what reason you do not sell it here?
3. Are the quantities on the container only in ml / liter or also in ounces / cups?
Thanks in advance
Question submitted by Maralina on October 3, 2019 at 17:03 o'clock
Hello Maralina,
Thank you very much for the questions.
Regarding 1: The "Black Particle Issue" - this was a bit longer ago. In September 2015, Vitamix had started to deliver the new containers with a modified design. Vitamix devices produced after this date were delivered with a new container. In this respect, we cannot confirm that Vitamix shipped old containers in 2016.
However, it is conceivable that dealers today still have and offer goods from 2014, so we cannot speak for Vitamix in general, but only for us as a dealer.
We had our entire inventory replaced with the new containers back in September 2015. Since then, we have not had any containers with the "Black Particle Issue". All deliveries from Vitamix are randomly tested by us before they go on sale. Therefore, at least for the Vitamix devices we sell, we can assure with a clear conscience that they are delivered with the latest container generation.
Re 2: The Vitamix 7500 never existed in Europe. The identical model was called "Pro 300" in Europe, but it is no longer available and will not return. A comparable model to the 7500 would be the Vitamix "Pro 750". It is currently available and also comes with 5 time programs. The main difference in this model line compared to the TNC 5200 is the container design, which has some advantages and disadvantages:
+ Container is flatter despite the same capacity and fits under any faucet or wall cabinet.
+ Smoothies are slightly creamier/fluffier because the longer blades and therefore a higher blade-tip-speed
- the TNC 5200 is better at blending small amounts because the diameter of the container is smaller
If you want all the advantages and no disadvantages, you can purchase the Pro 750 with a 1.4-liter container. Then it can handle smaller quantities.
Re 3, when you have a Vitamix container in your hand, the volume is in milliliters (ml) on the right and OZ (ounces) and cups on the left. So, it says both on the containers.
Best regards and happy blending!

Hello dear team,
now I have another question. I can't decide between the TNC 5200 and the A2500i. It would be my first high performance blender. On the one hand, I think that with the A 2500i (because more technology) can break faster, and on the other hand, I can not see any difference except that I have three programs and it looks a bit more modern. Maybe you can help me with my decision.
Question submitted by Stephanie on April 29, 2018 at 00:00 o'clock
Hi Stephanie,
thank you for your question.
Yes, the Vitamix A2500i has a lot of technology built in, but Vitamix dispels the fears mentioned with the even longer warranty period.
I would therefore first answer the question of the right container:
The TNC 5200 container is a universal container. It can do everything.
The A2500i container is somewhat more limited: Larger minimum quantity from 500 ml. But finer(!) Smoothies and more practical in everyday use (filling and cleaning) due to the form factor. Because it is not so high, it fits in any sink without getting in the way of the faucet.
If you want these benefits of the A2500i container while also putting years of proven technology, the Vitamix Pro 750 may be your machine.
Best regards,

Why is the Vitamix so much cheaper in the US? 449$?
Question submitted by Birgit on October 10, 2017 at 11:40 o'clock
Dear Birgit,
thank you for your question about the price difference.
On the one hand, the Vitamix is cheaper in the USA because it is manufactured there and does not have to be shipped and cleared for sale like the devices for the European market
Also, a different motor has to be installed on the Vitamix for the European market because of a different voltage grid in Europe.
Vitamix buys the motors from real pros for kitchen appliance motors, Ankarsrum in Sweden. The motor is shipped to Cleveland, Ohio, installed there, and then the blender is shipped back to Europe.
This also adds another layer of cost to the "European" Vitamix.
Furthermore, the Americans are used to distributing large quantities with the same equipment configuration, such as power plugs and in the same language (operating instructions, recipes).
Europe requires much more effort to adapt to the many small individual markets. In England, Switzerland and Germany, for example, 3 different power plugs are used. Furthermore, all countries have different distribution structures and, last but not least, each customer wants to be served in the local language. This is much more demanding for Vitamix than in the domestic market and is reflected in the costs.
Kind regards,
Your GrueneSmoothies.com Team

One thing annoys meThe only thing that really annoys me! Why have we not bought this blender much earlier!!! My son's braces forced us to buy a blender. He himself claims that it is only an excuse to invest the not a little money for a blender after all. We love analog, because hopefully still robust and not much can break. The telephone consultation at GrueneSmoothies was very friendly and competent. Well packaged, the good piece arrived at our house and we have not regretted the purchase in any way. Delicious Nice Creams and Smoothies, the blender is fun and the food tastes good. If he now provides us with many years of good service, then we have done everything right. But 7 years warranty is a word and convinced us. THANK YOU! GS Team.

A perfect consulting team - which also exudes good humorA special thank you to the whole team - with many questions I called and got a super advice - the order, a 5200, went to the post office on the same day - I call that super fast. The post then took another two days and for a week we are happy all around with the blender, in the morning a delicious smoothie - they taste good every time, there is certainly still a need for practice in terms of color - it is not always green :-). At lunchtime delicious salad or soup, For evening I have no idea yet - that will surely come yet
The oat milk is very well done, unfortunately, it does not mix so well with the coffee - but tasty very fine
Also the mail contact with my questions was answered super fast and very friendly and competent. A great team - thank you very much. I can recommend you without reservation! -

Sensational set combination. After extensive telephone consultation, I decided on the Vitamix TNC 5200 in the Plus Edition. And as described, the combination of two containers combines the best in each case. With the 1.4l container I make, for example, hummus, Nicecream and grind cereals. The 2l Pro container is for liquids such as nut milk, soup or green smoothies with wild herbs. The result with this container is just noticeably finer and creamier. Even though it is the most expensive version of the TNC, I can recommend the set 100%.

Rock SolidI have had the TNC 5200 for over five years and it still works flawlessly. For this alone you can give five stars, because I have not spared the blender ;) . For me, the TNC is still the best all-rounder on the market. From small to large quantities everything goes in the same container. The motor control is still completely analog and even has a very classic tilt protection. Everything about this machine is rock solid, which is no longer true for many current electric machines. In the meantime, I was able to convince my in-laws of the advantages of the TNC and ordered one for them today and gave this review for my blender
Love to the GrueneSmoothies-team - you do a super job -

Amazing blenderHave this blender for 7 months and can only say that it is brilliant. It is beautifully robust and solidly built. The motor is very powerful and conjures within a few seconds smooth, delicious smoothies, almond milk, spreads and other tasty things.for almond paste I have not yet used it. Getting the lid on and off wasn't easy at first, but if you push it over on the narrower edge at the top of the container it goes wonderfully. This blender will definitely accompany me for a very long time :-)

I am very satisfiedMy problem is : I have the 5200 for quite a few years, But now only a single household. My 2 Ltr. container is just too big for the small quantities . What to do ?
Editor's Note:
Hi Katharin,
thank you very much for your question. Since we unfortunately can not read out whether you suspect that small quantities are not possible in the 2-liter container or the minimum quantity of 250 ml for smoothies is really too high for you alone, our answer is a little more detailed:
In our customer contact, we repeatedly hear that customers intuitively assume that the 2-liter container is less suitable for small quantities than the 1.4-liter container or 0.9-liter container and don't even try it. However, our numerous test runs cannot confirm this. So if you are considering to buy a smaller container, we would advise against it in this case. In our experience, smaller quantities are not possible in the smaller containers.
Maybe you just haven't tried it with smaller quantities yet and let yourself be too impressed by the size...
If the minimum quantity for smoothies from about 250 ml is really too high in the 2-liter container, then the only thing you can do is change blenders. In the performance class of Vitamix, the Vitamix S30 would be the only one that would come into question. You could then sell the TNC 5200 on Ebay. Used Vitamix blenders are very much in demand.
Hopefully we could help you and wish you many more years of blending pleasure!
Your GrueneSmoothies team

Top device, absolute purchase recommendation!I've been using the Vitamix for 3.5 years now and have only managed to overload the motor once in all that time (4 large lemons only halved). After 5 minutes, it has continued to run flawlessly. To date, no problems. A simple, top reliable and robust device, which is always a pleasure. Absolutely recommended purchase!

Great blender and super serviceFirst of all, I would like to thank the team of GrueneSmoothies very much. Very courteous, friendly and quick response. Have only bought the model Creations and still decided for the model TNC 5200. The return was initiated immediately and the further process was processed quickly.
I do not regret the 150 euros extra. The blender is much better finished on the control panel. Also, the rubberized handle of the container is more ergonomic. overall, the blender seems to be of higher quality. The two-year extra warranty is also reassuring. The blending results are just great. The handling I had imagined more difficult and complicated. Easy to clean. Only with solid masses you have to have a little patience when scraping out. I can recommend this blender reassured. -

My enthusiasm......about the new blender is great! I join in the cheering chorus of Vitamix friends!!! After years with a normal stand mixer, the difference is so huge and my smoothies a thousand times better, more digestible and tastier! Without your offer to purchase in installments, I don't think I would have put it together either. So this was an open invitation and I can already look forward to it. Thank you very much for that!
A happy customer :))) -

Finally something real !Dear GrueneSmoothies Team,
even though this is not usually my thing - I must now place a feedback here. The reason is, I have used several blenders around 100 EUR in recent years and I was never really happy - the Vitamix TNC is, however, amazing. The thing chops everything small, the smoothies are super creamy and my kids find the ice cream really really good. Above all, you finally have the feeling that the machine is super robust and does not break after 2 years
Thanks for the great advice on the phone and thanks for this blender !
Thomas
