Handling and operation
The Bianco Puro Originale is operated via a central jog dial. You can either manually or automatically chop, grind, puree or blend! The "pulse mode" allows precise chopping with maximum speed. The pulse mode is activated by pressing the pulse button and stops as soon as it is released.
The manual mode of the Puro gives access to a total of 10 speed levels, which can be set and changed at any time, i. e. even during preparation.
The automatic mode offers the following time programs:
Sauce (Sauces) | Level 8 for 2 seconds and 1 second stop. A total of 5 repetitions. Then level H for 45 seconds. Running time in mm/ss: 1:00 Our tip: Use the Sauce program to prepare green smoothies instead of the Green Smoothie program! |
|
Vegetable (Green Smoothies) | Level H for 20 seconds, 2 seconds stop, level 6 for 10 seconds, 2 seconds stop, level H for 40 seconds, 2 seconds stop, level 6 for 10 seconds. Running time in mm/ss: 1:26 Our tip: Use the Sauce program to prepare green smoothies instead of the Green Smoothie program! |
|
Soy Milk | Accelerates to level 5 in 5 seconds, level 5 for 25 seconds, then level 8 for 30 seconds, level H until the end of the program. Running time in mm/ss: 6:00 |
|
Nuts (grinding) | Level 5 for 5 seconds, then level 8 for 2 seconds and 1 second stop, 10 repetitions. Running time in mm/ss: 0:35 |
|
Smoothies (Fruit Smoothies) | Level H for 8 seconds, then 2 seconds stop, 3 repetitions. Running time in mm/ss: 0:30 Our cleaning tip if rinsing with water doesn't help: add 3 drops of dishwashing liquid and start the smoothie program. |
|
Soups (Bisque) | In the first 10 seconds, the speed increases from 1 to maximum (level H). Level H is maintained until the end of the program. Running time in mm/ss: 4:20 |
|
Set (semi-automatic) | Running time setting from 00:05 to 30:00 minutes Speed setting from level 1 to level H. Running time in mm/ss: ? |
Please note: At 54 cm, the Puro Originale is quite tall compared to other high-speed blenders. Please check if the device will fit in your kitchen before purchasing.
Volume
In terms of volume, the Bianco di Puro Originale is within the normal range: In our test series, we filled the blenders with 1.5 liters of water and had them running at maximum speed. With 83 db, the Bianco di Puro Originala is within the normal range for comparable high-speed blenders in its performance class.
Cleaning
The Bianco Puro Originale can be cleaned quickly and easily. It is best to pour lukewarm water into the container directly after use, add a few drops of detergent and the smoothie program will do the rest. After the smoothie program has finished, simply rinse the container under running water - done!
The engine block can easily be cleaned with a damp cloth. If you want your Originale to shine, simply polish it with a dry kitchen towel.
Recommended accessories
If you value a creamy smoothie consistency, especially when using wild herbs, you may want to consider the Square+ container. The container was developed particularly for wild herb smoothies and also impresses with its design:
Regular Price: €149.90
Special Price €137.68
As with all other Bianco blenders, we recommend the energy-saving plug. It is worth the money - it completely disconnects the device from the power grid while the blender is in stand-by mode:
When preparing viscous or thick preparations - such as pesto, nicecream or hummus - we recommend using our cleaning brush to clean the container without scratching it.
We also recommend using a spatula to remove viscous preparations, especially from the bottom of the container:

The Bianco Puro Originale is equipped with overheating and overload protection. The overheat protection automatically turns off the motor if to much heat is generated - the blender is ready for use again after a few minutes of cooldown. The overload protection protects the motor in case the blades in the container are blocked (e. G. forgotten objects in the container). The motor is also protected against water entering from the container.
In addition, the Bianco Puro Originale is equipped with container detection. This means that the Bianco Puro Originale can only be started when a compatible container is attached to the motor.

The Bianco di Puro Originale in test and blender comparison
Bianco di Puro Originale test: Blenders in the lab
Of course, we sent the Bianco Originale to the lab and tested how it performs compared to its competitors, the Vitamix TNC 5200 and Vitamix Pro 750. Of course, we are particularly interested in how creamy the green smoothies become. It turned out that the most important criterion for creamy green smoothies is the blade tip speed, not the speed of the blender itself. The faster the blade tip is (outer edge), the higher the likelihood that the food being blended will collide with the blade frequently, causing it to shred. We put the blenders through an everyday test by filling each of them with 1.5 liters of water.
Blender name | Rpm | Blade tip speed | Price |
Bianco Primo | 15.144 rpm | 216 km/h (+ 16 km/h) |
Regular Price: €299.00 Special Price €265.67 |
Bianco Puro Originale | 14.520 rpm | 200 km/h | |
Vitamix TNC 5200 | 18.270 rpm | 250 km/h (+ 50 km/h) |
Regular Price: €849.90 Special Price €799.99 |
Vitamix Pro 750 | 16.542 rpm | 302 km/h (+ 102 km/h) |
Regular Price: €1,099.00 Special Price €999.00 |
The results are unsurprising. Compared to Vitamix, the difference in performance becomes clear. Approx. 50 km/h more blade tip speed for the all-round classic Vitamix TNC 5200 and approx. 102 km/h more for the top model Vitamix Pro 750. You can also taste the difference. If the Bianco design appeals to you and you're not a taste gourmet when it comes to fibrous smoothies, you can reach for the Bianco Puro Originale with a clear conscience!
Advantages / disadvantages of the Bianco di Puro Originale
Advantages of the Bianco Puro Originale | Disadvantages of the Bianco Puro Originale |
Trendy design in many colors | Heat generation during the blending process |
6 time programs for comfortable and safe preparation | No on/off switch |
Decent green smoothie consistency | It is not possible to start the blending process without program or timer setting |
Versatile container that allows all common preparations (ice cream, nut purees, smoothies, soups,… | Time programs are partly better suited for other applications (sauce program e. G. for green smoothies) |
Only 2 years warranty on the container |
Conclusion
The Bianco Puro Originale is a solid high-speed blender that stands out primarily because of its looks. For a long time, only the Vitamix TNC 5200 could be considered for lovers of creamy green smoothies. The Bianco Puro Originale enriched the blender landscape for all those who value modern design and the convenience of time programs. On the other hand, you have to be willing to make small sacrifices in terms of performance, application diversity and warranty.
It's also worth taking a look at our blender comparison for more details. The blender comparison allows you to compare the Bianco di Puro Originale with most blenders offered in our store!

Good evening, and thank you for the remarkable website!
I would like to grind coffee; perhaps also flour from rye and spelt.
Should I buy the Flower or the Square container? Both are compatible with my Bianco Originale right?
Thank you!
Question submitted by Marina on September 6, 2021 at 23:28 o'clock
Hello Marina,
thank you for your question.
We would rather advise you to choose the Square container, this grinds as well as the Flower container.
In addition, it also works perfectly for blending liquids such as smoothies and soups.

Question submitted by Gerda Kaltenhäuser on October 9, 2020 at 11:34 o'clock
Hello Gerda,
thank you very much for your message.
We've been looking for good glass containers for high-speed blenders for a while now. However, we haven't found any ..... major brands are working on them, as we know.
But it will take quite a while because it is difficult to shape glass into the angular shape that is needed for good circulation and swirling of the ingredients.
In addition, thick-walled glass containers, for which the vibrations during the blending process are not problematic, would be very heavy and thus also impractical for most buyers.

LG
Question submitted by Julia on April 5, 2020 at 08:23 o'clock
Hello Julia,
thank you very much for your message.
Yes, you can also blend hot foods in the Originale.
The standard container (that comes with the Bianco Originale) can manage up to 125 degrees Celsius.
Stews or soups are a bitt special: the fat in these preparations can reach even higher temperatures.
Simply give them a few more minutes to cool down before blending.

Hello,
a friend of mine recommended this blender. I would like to use it as an all-round machine. Can you also prepare Energy Balls with its container, or is the Flower container necessary?
Thanks in advance!
Question submitted by Silvia on March 13, 2020 at 17:35 o'clock
Hello Silvia,
thank you very much for your message.
Viscous dishes, such as energy balls, are generally a challenge for high-speed blenders. The devices are designed for high speeds. However, we recommend soaking certain ingredients, such as nuts and dates, in water in advance and then processing them in the blender. The Flower container is actually more suitable for preparing Engery Balls.

Hello Micha,
thank you very much for your question
Your question can actually be answered quite simply with the recommendation for the Bianco Puro Originale, since you can really make all popular blender preparations with the supplied container – in large and small quantities
The container of the Panda does not allow such small preparation quantities – for example, (n)ice cream preparation requires a significantly higher minimum quantity of 350-400 ml.

I would like to buy the Bianco di Puro Originale, but I am unsure whether I really need the Square
Can you maybe tell me for which preparations the Square is indispensable?
Thank you in advance and many greetings :)
Question submitted by Isabelle on August 30, 2018 at 08:50 o'clock
Hello Isabelle,
thank you for your question.
The Square makes smoothies creamier and finer because the blades have a larger diameter. It Especially comes to bear with wild herb smoothies.
You can start with the original and see if the creaminess of the smoothies is enough. If you want more, you can always buy the Square.

I have been the owner of bianco di puro for a week now!
The blender was highly recommended to me....I am excited....!!!!
I guess I have to get used to the fact that it is very loud.....
Making smoothies is quick and wonderful!
About making soups I have a question! I probably did it wrong??? Cauliflower soup from their booklet! Putting all the ingredients in the blender.....mixing only worked with the immediate addition of water and the soup was just warm after blending? Should I have cooked the cauliflower first...??? It did not taste good to me.... Do I need to make the soups hot in the pot after blending? Thought I could have saved this step.....lukewarm soups don't taste good....
Looking forward to your reply and tips!
Thank you and many greetings from Franzi Busch
Where can I find more great recipes?
Question submitted by Franzi Busch on August 29, 2018 at 18:17 o'clock
Hello Franzi Busch,
thank you very much for the question.
Unfortunately, we don't know which booklet the cauliflower soup recipe is from.
If the soup is to be heated exclusively by blending, it may make sense, especially if the container is full, to start the soup program a second time. Once the desired temperature is reached, you can stop the program at any time.
Cooked soups can of course also be puréed in the blender. To do this, simply pour the soup from the pot into the container and blend for about 1 minute.

Dear GrueneSmoothie Team,
thank you for your great descriptions and recipes. I bought the Puro Originale from you last year and am super happy with making green smoothies and nut milks. I would also like to make nut puree more often, but the instruction manual here recommends buying the flower or square container. Does it make sense to purchase the additional container for the firmer consistencies? And if so, which of the two containers would you recommend?
Kind regards,
Sonja
Question submitted by Sonja Schuster on October 1, 2018 at 15:08 o'clock
Hello dear Sonja,
thank you very much for your question.
We can not agree with the advice from the instruction manual. The standard container that came with the blender is, in our opinion, the best container for nut purée that Bianco has to offer. Therefore, you can save yourself the extra container. The blending experience and result does not get any better!

Hello everyone, we have had our Puro for 1.5 years. It appears to me that now the blades are getting dull. The green ingredients are no longer shredded. Is this a chase that is covered by the guarantee?
LG Thomas
Question submitted by Thomas Niemann on April 11, 2017 at 10:18 o'clock
Hello Thomas,
Thank you very much for your message.
The cashews are so soft, they should not have any influence on the wear at all.
Apart from that, the blades are always blunt when delivered. This is common in this power class, as the blending result is determined by the speed with which the ingredient particles collide with each other behind the wedge-shaped blade. The blade sharpness is irrelevant for this.
If the blending result is not as creamy as it was in the beginning, this may indicate a blade/vessel defect or a problem with the engine.

Hello,
I recently became the proud owner of a Bianco Puro 4 and am a bit surprised that the smoothies do get quite warm when using the 'Vegetable' program. Does this pose a problem for the enzymes? Unfortunately, the smoothie won't reach the desired smoothness if the runtime is shorter.
Also, the blender smells like a machine when it's running. Is this normal?
I would like a few recipes that are specifically tailored to the Puro incl. dry container (nut milk, nut puree, ice cream, etc.), is there a source?
I'm very convinced of the device and use it daily. :-)

I would be interested in the quality differences between the blenders.
Emotionally, I would put the Bianco (not because of the price) above the other two.
A vital point are the seals on the blades – these start leaking fast on cheap blenders.
Bianco's blade unit comes from Japan, so that speaks for quality. And the unit seems quieter (a point at which American products usually fail miserably).
Which seals are better? Bianco, Revoblend, Vitamix?
Question submitted by Robert on October 16, 2017 at 13:51 o'clock
Hello Robert
Thank you for your question.
I have also experienced the grease problem with low-priced blenders from German brand manufacturers. In the league of Bianco, Revoblend, Vitamix, this is usually not a concern. By the way, the blade unit at Bianco does not come from Japan, only the blades.
I would therefore make the decision based on other factors.

Hello,
I recently became the owner of a Puro 1 and didn't know about your advice to use the 'Vegetables' program for green smoothies.
Until yesterday, I have always used the much shorter 'Smoothies' program.
The result of the 'Vegetable' program is definitely smoother and much finer.
Now my question:
Are the cell structures also sufficiently broken up in the 'Vegetables' program, so that one can use it alternatively if one likes the smoothies somewhat more creamy?
Thanks
Question submitted by Markus on October 16, 2017 at 13:42 o'clock
Hello Markus!
Thank you for your question. The program designations are unfortunately somewhat inconveniently chosen by Bianco.
For smoothies, we generally recommend the sauce program. This produces much finer puréed smoothies.
If you like it more creamy, simply reduce the water content!
The smoothie program, on the other hand, is ideal for cleaning the container.

Green smoothies are super creamy, but a bit warm.
Is there any benefit of adding ice cubes? If so, which program do I use for this?

Malle
Question submitted by Malle on October 16, 2017 at 13:33 o'clock
Hi Malle!
We recommend using the sauce program instead of the green smoothie program for green smoothies.
This runs shorter AND leads to finer results.
If your smoothie still is too warm for your taste, you can replace water with ice cubes right at the start.

I'm also thinking about buying such a device, but will first test whether I like green smoothies or not.
What I find a pity:
cheaper blenders often have glass containers...
Question submitted by Terry on October 16, 2017 at 13:20 o'clock
Hello Terry!
It, of course, is important that you also like green smoothies. Have a look at some of our recipes. There certainly is something for every taste :-)
Why do high-speed blenders not have glass containers?
It is because of the power. If hard objects, such as date seeds, etc. are processed at high speeds, there always will be a risk of breakage with glass, but not with Tritan. Some people also accidentally leave spoons or other objects in the container....

I am a proud owner of a Bianco Puro 4 – I also use the sauce program for the green smoothies.
Now I have a question:
I have constructed a challenging task for the blender, a full container of Frozen fruit and yogurt.
The Bianco managed to achieve a fine consistency, but there was a smell of burned electric in the air…
Should I be concerned?
Thanks for your answer.
Michael

Hi Michael,
the smell is normal for
1. new blenders and
2. when they are packed with heavy loads.
This is completely normal and comes from the evaporation of the corrosion protection agent.
By the way, if the engine gets too hot, it will automatically shut down until it is cool enough to operate again.
So, no need to worry, everything is within the normal range!:-)

Hello all,
thanks for all the information on your website!
My Bianco Puro started leaking the last time I used it. A brown, viscous liquid with a strange smell came from underneath the container. The time program also did not stop automatically.
Do you guys have any experience with this? Is this a case for customer service?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Best regards,
Clara

Dear Carla and Svenja,
I don't know if this is the right platform, but I can't find any other ...
For now, I want to thank you for being so dedicated and always coming up with great recipes. I have already made some and they always taste great. I also like to participate in your challenges again and again.
So I almost have a guilty conscience that I only report when I have a problem, and I actually have with my Bianco Puro, which I bought from you about 3 years ago. For some time he mixes more irregularly than before (not from the result, but purely acoustically noticeable) and today he smelled burned after blending. The smell was particularly strong where the container is placed on the motor.
Do you guys have any ideas what this could be?
The Bianco Puro also sounds different than before, really shrill.
Thanks a lot for your help!

I bought the Bianco pure from you! My husband has shredded the cap! I had given for storage in the blender jar and he has not noticed! ;)
Can I get the single? How much is it?
Yours sincerely Elke Schumacher

Super blenderAfter several blenders that I have tested, I have finally arrived. Yes, the blender is big, but it is really quiet compared to the competition and has so far given me many creamy smoothies.
The design is outstanding and the handling absolutely intuitive. The workmanship of the Originale is impeccable.
An absolute purchase recommendation. -

Super blender that is also very quiet.First of all, I would like to thank you for the great support. Rarely have I experienced such great customer support
With the first mixer (Bianco di Puro Attivo) I was not quite so satisfied, because he has given clear "rattling" noises. But you can't do anything about that. Ergo, the Attivo went back and I ordered the Puro Originale
Yes, the part is really big (does not fit under my wall cabinet in the kitchen), ergo he wandered onto my bar table. Visually, it is clearly superior to the Vitamix devices, but that's a matter of taste
Have as a test equal to your enclosed smoothie recipes (by the way, a mega gimmick from you), the "Evergreen" kredenzt..
What can I say, madness!!!
The Puro Originale is really quiet and has all the ingredients processed into a super fine, mega delicious smoothie, I am absolutely thrilled
For all those who are not ready to spend so much money on a Vitamix, the Bianco di Puro Originale is recommended

The first green Smoothie was really nice and creamy!Hello all,
since yesterday I have now also the Puro 4. After the short time no real conclusion can be drawn. But it is super chic and really powerful. In fact, quiet (vacuuming makes much more noise! - at similar performance).
The first green Schmusi was so really nice and creamy!
The desire of Birgit for recipes 'outside' green smoothies I join. I am curious what else goes so (and how) with it.
What we still noticed: the photos deceive a bit about the size of the device. Still fits in well with us, we were just briefly amazed. Especially the engine block is bigger than it appears on the pictures.
Many greetings

I am thrilled!Got today the Bianco di Puro Originale. I am thrilled!
Already had another blender, but have sold it again and switched to the Thermomix, with which I am very satisfied.
Only the green smoothies were never quite as I imagined, especially at this time of year, where the wild herbs get a somewhat thicker consistency.
Now the Thermomix has a colleague especially for green smoothies.
With these smoothies I can score points with course participants and and at buffets. Thanks to the Gruene Smoothies team for the fast and uncomplicated sending of the good piece.
