Application
The tamper is used especially for the preparation of viscous food, such as ice cream or puree, in order to repeatedly tamp the food from the edge of the container to the blade.
Although the Vitamix tamper is long, it can also be used for smaller Vitamix containers. In fact, it is even better suited for the smaller Vitamix containers than the short tamper - it reaches deeper into the container than the small tamper. Of course, the Vitamix tamper is designed so that it never touches the blade.

Hello,
is this the same tamper as supplied with Pro 750 Heritage anyway, or is this a longer version that reaches deeper, i.e. better, into the container? Without dimensions, the description gives no clue on this.

You can find the dimensions under the “technical data” tab on the product page. The “long tamper” measures 32.0 cm in length. The “medium tamper” (for Pro 750, Pro 300, S30) measures 28.5 cm.
