What distinguishes the Vitamix 2 liter Pro container?
The Vitamix 2-liter Pro container (also known as low-profile container) comes with the Vitamix Pro 300, Vitamix Pro 750, Vitamix E320 and Vitamix E520, it is the best container we know for fiber-free creamy (green) smoothies. Thanks to its compact design, it also fits under any kitchen counter. The wide container allows extra long blades which reach a blade tip speed of over 400 km/h. We don't know of any other blender that can keep up with this speed.

Preparation possibilities
Blending: especially creamy fine green smoothies, fruit and vegetable smoothies, vegan milk, sauces, dips, salsas, pestos, cold and warm soups (up to 100°C) from 500 ml, ice cream and nicecream from approx. 800 ml. For the latter, a tamper is needed to push the viscous mass from the edges of the container back to the blades. Therefore, a higher minimum quantity is required.
TIP: If smaller quantities of 250 ml or more are produced, the Vitamix 1.4-liter container is recommended.
Shredding: The Vitamix 2.0 liter low profile container is also perfectly suitable for shredding root vegetables, such as carrots, beet, parsnip or Parmesan cheese.
Grinding: The Vitamix 2.0 liter low profile container is also suitable for grinding coffee or cereals. You can grind whole beans (from 40g) without problems. However, regular grinding makes the container opaque, which is why a vitamix grinding container makes sense.

Hello dear Gruenesmoothies team
Foremost, I would like to praise you for your informative and sympathetic website, on which I often and gladly "browse".
I have a Vitamix Explorian E310 with the 1.4 liter container. In 80% of the cases, the size is sufficient for my family of three, but sometimes the 1.4l container is too small. That's why I'm now interested in the 2.0l Pro container. Is this recommendable for my E310? Because I have read that this container better fits the models with the slightly more powerful 2.2 hp engine. Can you confirm this, or have you also already tested the container on a Vitamix with 2.0 hp? Do green smoothies from this container become noticeably creamier even with the slightly weaker blenders? And what about soups, can they be heated with this combination?
I am curious about your feedback or experiences, and say thank you in advance!
Question submitted by Patrick on October 17, 2020 at 19:03 o'clock
Hello Patrick,
you can also use the Vitamix 2.0 L Pro container on the E310 without hesitation, and you will get a higher blade tip speed and a fiber-free blended product due to the longer blades. When heating soups, there is no increased risk of your blender going into overheat protection.
However, when preparing viscous food preparations, you have a much higher minimum preparation quantity of approx. 650 ml with the Pro container.
As you have already correctly noted, it is therefore recommended to use the 1.4 L container for smaller quantities.

Hello,
Our 3-year-old Pro 750 has said goodbye today. Fortunately, it turned out that it only was the container or the bearings. I can't find the blade base anywhere, and I would rather not buy the whole container for 200€, or wait 30 days on warranty. Where can I get such a blade? Help! :)
Question submitted by Alexander Weigel on July 28, 2020 at 00:02 o'clock
Hello Alexander,
unfortunately, the blade base for your container is not available for purchase individually.
A small tip: The ball bearings will also last longer if you do not let the container dry upside down after cleaning.

My plastic lid is damaged. The top is ok. Can I buy the lid separately?

Hello Christoph,
thank you very much for your message.
The small lid insert unfortunately is not an offered as a spare part.
The complete lid would have to be purchased in this case...
Kind regards!

Good day,
Dose the Vitamix 2 liter container Pro also fit onto my JTC Omniblent V?
Thank you and greetings from Wiesbaden

Question submitted by Hans-J. Arnold on August 4, 2019 at 13:42 o'clock
Hello H. Arnold,
thank you very much for the question.
Unfortunately, this 2-liter container does not fit on the Omniblend.
The 2-liter Classic container or the 1.4-liter container would fit on the Omniblend.
Best regards,

I would only need the container WITHOUT the knife, lid, etc… Would this also be possible? Thanks for an answer.
Question submitted by Jörg on March 2, 2019 at 15:25 o'clock
Hello Jörg,
thank you very much for your question.
Unfortunately, the container WITHOUT blades is not offered.
Presumably, however, your container falls under the warranty of Vitamix. Perhaps a call is worthwhile:

Why is there no tamper included with this container. This is the case with all the others.

Question submitted by Renata Freund on January 25, 2019 at 12:30 o'clock
Hello Renata,
Thank you for your question.
It has to do with logistics. All Vitamix containers have the same outer packaging. A tamper does not fit into the 2-liter Pro container.

I only need the lid because this no longer seals properly or no longer sits firmly. Can this also be purchased separately?
Question submitted by Martin on January 15, 2019 at 10:29 o'clock
Hello Martin,
thank you very much for your question.
Yes, you can order the lid individually here.
However, before that, we would recommend a measure that can possibly save the existing lid (best to do in the evening):
1. Place the lid on the container and snap it into place.
2. Prepare over 2 litres of hot water (about 100 degrees Celsius)
3. Place the container in the sink and pour the hot water into the container through the opening in the lid. Fill until the water comes out of the top of the opening. Then leave overnight.
The application can also be repeated several times.
In any case, we hope you continue to enjoy blending!
Best regards,

Best containerI mainly make green smoothies with lots of wild herbs. For this, this is the best container ever. I bought the container as an additional container for my Vitamix Turboblend and can confirm that the result is even finer than in the original 1.4l container.

Top recommendationI bought the container to replace my old TNC container and I am thrilled. When it comes to the fineness of smoothies, there is no better container - the result is even better than in the tall 2l container.
