How good is the quality of the juice?

Clear green juices

We love to drink green juices - whether from celery, leafy greens like spinach or herbs, or parsley. Mixing these ingredients with some fruits and vegetables results in a delicious tasting juice. Of course, you can also make this type of juice with the Tribest Shine - up to a quantity of 500 ml per juicing cycle. Important: The fibrous ingredients - leafy greens, herbs, celery - must be cut to a size of 1,5-2 cm before juicing. Otherwise the Tribest Shine tends to clog because the fibrous pomace cannot escape so well due to its design.

Clear vegetable and fruit juices - single-variety or as a mixed juice

The Tribest Shine processes vegetables such as zucchini, carrots, and cucumbers into clear, full-bodied juices. It also produces clear, single-variety juices - e. G. from apples or pineapple. Normally, soft fruits can cause the juicer to clog. Not with the Tribest Shine: this compact juicer juices soft fruits with ease.

Ginger and/or turmeric shots

The Tribest Shine can also be used to make ginger and/or turmeric shots. The juice yield is average, which is also quite sufficient when making small amounts of the spicy elixir.

Is the Tribest Shine capable of producing celery juice?

The Tribest Shine extracts an amazing amount of juice from celery stalks. In our celery juice juicer test, it landed in 4th place! It is important to cut the celery stalks into 1-2 cm long pieces so that the pulp can escape more easily during the juicing process. Most importantly, the juice has a clear, full-bodied taste. The maximum juicing volume is 500 ml - after that, the Tribest Sine needs a break from operation and cleaning of the housing.

What other preparation possibilities are there?

The Tribest Shine compact juicer focuses on juicing leafy greens, vegetables and fruits. It' s just not made for other applications. Accordingly, only the fine screen, for producing freshly squeezed juices, is included in the scope of delivery.

Operation & handling of the Tribest Shine compact juicer

With a few simple steps, the four parts of the Tribest Shine compact juicer can be assembled quickly and easily. The markings on the motor block, juice drum and hopper are helpful here. First, place the juice drum on the motor block, aligning the markings (open lock and filled circle) on the device. Now turn clockwise until the parts are locked in place. Insert the screen and make sure that the screen fits into the corresponding recess on the juice drum. Now place the hopper according to the markings on the device and turn clockwise until the parts are also engaged.

As soon as the compact juicer is connected to the power, juicing can begin. The central control button for turning the device on and off and for unlocking (REV function) is located on the backside of the device. Cut ingredients according to the diameter of the hopper. Fibrous ingredients such as celery stalks should be cut into 1-2 cm long pieces. This ensures that the pulp can continuously flow out during juicing. Now turn on the device, close the juice flap and gradually add the ingredients to the hopper. The Tribest Shine pulls the ingredients towards the pressing mechanism as if by itself. Only very hard ingredients will require a squeeze with the included tamper. When the juice housing is full - around 400 to 500 ml of juice, open the juice flap and collect the freshly squeezed juice in the juice container provided. When all ingredients have been juiced, turn off the unit. The Tribest Shine should not run for more than 10 minutes at a time!

Important note: In total, the Tribest Shine should not run for more than 10 minutes at a time! The maximum juicing volume is 500 ml per juicing cycle - after that, the Tribest Shine compact juicer needs a break in operation.

If the juice drum is clogged, press the REV button

The Tribest Shine almost never blocks. Of course, its design as a vertical juicer suits it well here. Even with larger quantities of soft ingredients, there is no blockage. However, if it does get stuck - perhaps because too many ingredients were added too quickly - simply hold down the REV function. The auger of the juicer will now rotate backwards to clear the blockage. When the blockage is cleared, release the REV button, wait for the auger to come to a complete standstill - Important: don't start the device until it has come to a complete standstill.

Cleaning the Tribest Shine compact juicer

To clean the Tribest Shine, first unplug the juicer from the power outlet. The juicer can now be disassembled into its individual parts. First, remove the juice drum and rinse it with lukewarm water. It's best to remove the screen together with the auger, in the next step. This makes it easier to subsequently press out the auger. The Tribest Shine compact juicer tends to have large amounts of pulp in the screen and on the auger. It is recommended to roughly remove the residue with your hands and the end of the supplied cleaning brush. Throw residue directly into the organic waste or the pulp jar, otherwise it may clog the drain of your sink. Then rinse both parts with lukewarm water and clean the inside and outside of the screen with the small cleaning brush. Now clean the juice drum by removing the pulp residue from the pulp outlet using the end of the cleaning brush. Then rinse the juice drum with lukewarm water and clean it with the small brush if necessary. At the very end, rinse out the pulp and juice containers and briefly dry all parts with a kitchen towel or let them air dry.

Attention: The parts of the juicer are not dishwasher safe!

Advantages of the Tribest Shine compact juicer vs the Sana Juicer 707:

1. Higher juice yield: The Tribest Shine gets more juice out of leafy greens, fruits and vegetables than the Sana 707. This was particularly evident in our celery juice juicer test, where the Tribest Shine juiced an average about 100 ml more juice out of 500 g of celery than the Sana 707.

Celery stalks can be juiced in thirds or halves. The Tribest Shine requires the celery stalks to be cut into 1-2 cm long pieces to avoid clogging the pulp outlet.
