Hello, I often have the problem with the 225 ml containers that the Vitamix does not recognize them. What can be the reason for this?

thank you very much for your request.
The container recognition for the small Familyset containers does not always work right away, but once you have it figured out, it is quite simple:
Fill the container and then turn the blade block so that the mix doesn't spill - don't twist it super tight!
Then place the container including the blade block on the motor block.
If the container is not yet detected, you can relatively easily continue to turn the container closed until the device detects the container.

Hello, I have the Vitamix 750 Pro and I am looking for a container to easily make a small amount of pesto. In fact, the 1.4 l container requires too much minimum filling quantity for that. The small containers probably don't fit on the 750 Pro, right?

The 225 ml and also the 0.6-liter container can now be used for all Vitamix Classic devices (including the Pro 750). You will need the so-called Personal Cup Adapter, which we have available in the shop.

Unfortunately, these containers do NOT fit on the Vitamix S30. There only are 2 sizes for the S30: 600 ml and 1.2 liters.

The 225ml & 600ml containers are excellent for the following applications:
Mixing baby mush, sauces, dips, salsas, pestos.
For grating ginger, garlic, and turmeric. (Attention: Turmeric discolours the container!)
The containers are also suitable for grinding coffee or cereals.
Nut butter is more difficult to make in the containers, as it is not possible to work with a tamper.

The 1.2-liter container that comes with the S30 is the first choice for both small and large quantities. The decisive factor for small quantities is the size of the base area and not how far up the container goes.
The base area of the 1.2-liter container is just as large as that of this small 225 ml container.

The 225 ml containers definitely do not work with the Vitamix S30. That is not what they are designed for. Also, the 600 ml containers for the Vitamix Ascent blenders are incompatible with the S30.
