The Vitamix 1.4-litre Smart container complements all Smart Blenders with an additional container for liquid preparations from 250 ml and thicker consistencies from 400 ml. Finally, smaller portions of nicecream or nut butter can be made in your Ascent Series Blender.

Preparation possibilities
Liquid consistencies from approx. 250 ml: Green smoothies, fruit smoothies, vegetable smoothies, soups, dressings & dips, pestos, plant milks or shakes
Viscous consistencies from approx. 400 ml: Nicecream & ice cream creations, nut puree, hummus
Shredding: Root vegetables such as carrots, beet, parsnip or also Parmesan cheese
Grinding: Coffee or cereals. However, regular grinding makes the container opaque. We recommend the Vitamix Dry Grains container for this purpose.

Is this 1,4L ascent container compatible to EU version engine block with self detect technology?

The container is compatible with the "i"-models 2300i, 2500i and 3500i, which are available in Germany.

Hello,
If I understood correctly, the ascent blenders (among others) mix particularly fine and airy smoothies because of their long blade.
With the additional containers are but again other knife blocks. With the small containers, the blades are not suitable for green smoothies. How is it with these 1.4 L container? The large 2 L container would simply be too big for me in everyday life.

Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to test the 1.4l SMART container myself. However, it can be assumed that similar results are achieved as with the "normal" 1.4l container. So you can then also prepare very good green smoothies, not quite as frothy as with the 2l SMART container, but also very good.

Could this container be ordered from the USA, or would it not be compatible with the engine block available in Germany?

Unfortunately, the smart containers from the USA are incompatible with the European Ascent series blenders.
But Vitamix has announced to release the compatible 1.4 Smart container for the European market at the end of this year.

This wet container is ideal for smaller quantities under 500ml. I use it super happy for smoothie bowls (for one person), smaller amounts of nut butter, dips or creams. I am absolutely satisfied.
