thank you for your message.
When you change the lime filter pad, a short and strong rinse with cold tap water is sufficient (approx. 30-60 sec) to remove activated carbon dust.

Thank you very much for your message.
It is time to change the lime filter when the water does not taste as soft as before and typical lime deposits can be seen. A lime filter should be used for about six weeks if the lime content is not too high.

Why is an additional lime filter used? Lime is essential for life and, as far as I know, should not be missing from drinking water.
