The Lotus Filter Cartridge Annual Set equips your Lotus water filter with 6 filter cartridges and an optional number of limescale filter for a whole year. The harder and more calcareous the water where you live, the more limescale filter you need for water treatment. We therefore offer you the Lotus Annual Set with 6, 12 or 24 limescale filter as well as an option without limescale filter. No matter which annual package you choose: Each package is cheaper than buying the individual products!

3 stage filter cartridge
The Lotus Vita filter cartridge has three filtration layers:
- Pre-filter reduces lime with ion exchanger and activated carbon.
- Stage 1 reduces pollutants with activated carbon, it among others, removes, nitrate and heavy metals.
- Stage 2 reduces pollutants with high performance activated carbon, with an iodine retention capacity of 1200. Best filter performance with almost all known possible contaminants of the tap water.
- Stage 3 enhances the taste with magnesium, calcium, tourmaline and other special ceramics with high mineral content, as well as quartz sand, magnets and EM ceramics (EM=Effective Microorganisms according to Prof. Dr. Teruo Higa)
Service life
If less than 8 litres of water are filtered daily - 3 months
If more than 8 litres of water are filtered daily - 2 months
A limescale filter pad can be used for about 6 weeks. Depending on the limescale level of the tap water, the usage can be extended or shortened. In very hard water, such as in Berlin, we recommend replacing the limescale filter almost every 2 weeks. That is why we also offer a Lotus Filter Cartridge Annual Set with 24 limescale filter pads.

Are the cartridges recyclable? Can they be sent back to you once they are spent for example?

The cartridges are for single use only.
Afterwards, they can be disposed of with household waste.

Various pollutants and drug residues can be filtered out. The water tastes very good.
The only disadvantage is that the filter doesn't run as smoothly if it has been used for a long time. But perhaps this is also a sign that it needs to be changed soon. -
