What can I juice with the AUTO5?

You can easily make celery juice, carrot juice, beetroot juice, ginger shots or fresh sauerkraut juice with the AUTO5. It is perfect for soft apples and overripe pears and can also produce green juices with a high leafy green content. The Kuvings AUTO6 presses the ingredients as gently as possible at just 50 revolutions per minute to preserve the nutrients.

How suitable is the Kuvings AUTO5 for making celery juice?

With the Kuvings AUTO5, you can make fresh celery juice with ease. Simply fill the hopper and press the start button. When the hopper is completely full, you can juice approx. 130-150 celery juices in one cycle.

Preparation recommendation: For the best and fastest celery juice, cut the celery stalks to a length of 2-3 cm before juicing. This allows you to fill the filling chamber optimally and eliminates the hassle of refilling.

You will be rewarded with a clear, particle-free celery juice that tastes full-bodied, smooth and aromatic. In our celery juice extractor test, the Kuvings AUTO5 was able to extract an average of 350 ml of juice from the green stalks, putting it well behind the test winner, the Angel Juicer. This is not surprising, as the Angel Juicer is generally unbeaten when it comes to the juice yield of green juices.

How can I make nut milk in the Kuvings AUTO5?

The Kuvings AUTO5 is also suitable for making nut milk. The nuts should be soaked in water overnight before processing. Before juicing, pour off the soaking water and add fresh water in a ratio of 1:3. The juice outlet flap must be closed before the nut/water mixture can be filled into the juicer. Now start the Kuvings AUTO5 and gradually pour in the nut/water mixture using a ladle. As soon as the juice chamber is filled with milk, open the juice outlet flap and remove the milk. Finally, you can filter the nut milk with a nut milk bag to obtain a completely particle-free result.

Operation & handling of the Kuvings AUTO5

The Kuvings AUTO5 is easy to install. Make sure that the markings on the hopper and juice drum are aligned. When the filling chamber clicks into place on the juice drum, the AUTO5 is ready for use.

Juicing with the Kuvings AUTO5

Fill the hopper of the Kuvings AUTO5 with the ingredients according to your recipe. With a completely full hopper, you can make around 150 ml to 300 ml of juice without having to refill the ingredients. This allows you to concentrate on other things while juicing.

Important note: When the hopper is completely filled with ingredients, leave the juice outlet flap open so that the juice can escape from the start, as the juice chamber cannot hold more than 500 ml of juice.

Preparation recommendation: Although you can juice apples, pears and oranges whole, we recommend cutting them into quarters to fill the hopper better and speed up the juicing process. The same applies to celery stalks, carrots or cucumbers, which should be cut into 2-3 cm long pieces before juicing.

If the juice drum is only half full and you want to make a juice from fruit, leafy greens and vegetables, close the juice outlet flap to ensure even mixing during juicing.

To start the Kuvings AUTO5, set the central function switch on the motor block to FWD (FORWARD) for "forward". Normally, the ingredients are automatically pulled into the juice drum. If something gets stuck, simply use the tamper provided and push the juice ingredients towards the pressing screw.

As soon as all the ingredients have been juiced and no more new pomace comes out of the pomace outlet or the juice drum is already filled to the maximum with juice, open the juice outlet flap and remove the juice. To get the last drops out of the appliance, hold the juicer by the handle and tilt it slightly towards the juice outlet.

If the juice drum is clogged, press the REV button

It is possible for juice ingredients to jam or get stuck in the housing. This blockage can easily be cleared by reversing the machine. To do this, set the central function switch on the motor block to REV for a few seconds by holding it down. As soon as the ingredient blockage has been released, set it back to FWD and continue juicing.

Cleaning the Kuving AUTO5

The easiest way to clean the Kuvings AUTO5 is directly after use. This prevents juice and pomace residue from drying in the housing. In the first cleaning step, simply close the juice outlet flap, fill with half a liter of water and let the motor run for a few seconds. Open the juice outlet flap, allow the water to drain and remove the juice housing from the motor and place it in the sink.

Now dismantle the juice housing and clean all parts under running water using the cleaning brush supplied. To clean the sieve, we also recommend purchasing the sieve cleaning brush from Sana (see recommended accessories).

As described above, we recommend an additional cleaning brush for cleaning the sieve, namely the one from Sana. It is nice and flat, has hard-wearing bristles and is very good at removing ingredient residues from the sieve pores.
