Warranty for Vitamix Ascent Series High Performance Blenders A2300i, A2500i, A3500i

1. WHO IS THE GUARANTOR?

Vita-Mix Corporation ("Vitamix") provides an additional warranty for the equipment ( "Equipment" consists of the motor base and the Tritan containers purchased with it).

The liability of the respective seller of the Appliance for defects in the Appliance under the purchase agreement entered into with the purchaser of the Appliance shall not be affected by the terms of this warranty and shall not limit liability of the seller for defects.

2. PRODUCT REGISTRATION

Vitamix encourages you to register your purchased appliance with Vitamix. Registration can be done by emailing service@vitamix.de or by calling the toll-free service number 00-800-8482-6491. Your rights under the warranty will not be limited if you do not register your appliance after purchase. However, registration will allow Vitamix to better handle any customer service claims.

In the event that you do not register your product, please have your proof of purchase available in the event you wish to make a warranty claim.

3. WHO CAN MAKE A CLAIM UNDER THE WARRANTY?

Vitamix only warrants the use of the appliance in the owner's own home. This warranty does not apply to equipment used for commercial purposes, rental or resale. If the appliance changes ownership during the 10-year warranty period, please update the information of the owner of this appliance at https://www.vitamix.com/de/de_de/Customer-Service/Product-Registration, if you have registered the appliance.

4. HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY VALID?

Vitamix will provide a warranty if, the equipment purchased has a defect as defined in. No. 5 of these warranty conditions. The warranty is valid for 10 years from the date of purchase and and can only be applied if it is claimed within the 10 years. The warranty period is not extended due to warranty service, especially not in case of replacement of the goods. The warranty period does not restart in case of a warranty claim.

5. WHAT IS COVERED?

The warranty covers material and workmanship defects of the device as well as defects of the device as a result of wear and tear resulting from ordinary and usual use in private households.

In the event of a warranty claim, Vitamix will repair the returned appliance or parts free of charge within 30 days of receipt. Vitamix reserves the right to inspect the appliance to determine if there is a defect as defined in this warranty policy.

If Vitamix concludes, in its sole discretion, that the defective Appliance or components are not repairable, Vitamix may either (A) replace the Appliance at no charge or (B) refund the full purchase price to the Owner. The decision to do so shall be at Vitamix's option unless the Owner has given Vitamix prior written notice of its preference in this regard.

6. WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

This warranty does not apply to equipment that has been or will be used commercially or in applications other than personal household use. This warranty does not cover cosmetic changes and signs of wear that do not affect performance, such as for discoloration or the effects of the use of polishing agents or accumulated food residue. This warranty applies only if the equipment is used and maintained in accordance with the instructions, warnings and safety precautions contained in the operating instructions.

Vitamix will not be responsible for any costs resulting from unauthorized warranty repairs.

REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE ARE THE ONLY CLAIMS AND RIGHTS AVAILABLE TO YOU AND ARE VITAMIX'S SOLE LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. NO EMPLOYEE OR AGENT OF VITAMIX IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY FURTHER WARRANTIES OR TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATIONS TO THIS WARRANTY WHICH ARE BINDING ON VITAMIX. THEREFORE, DO NOT RELY ON ANY SUPPLEMENTAL STATEMENTS MADE BY VITAMIX EMPLOYEES OR REPRESENTATIVES.

Vitamix shall not be liable under this warranty for any further incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, loss of profits or loss of sales.


The foregoing warranty limitations do not affect any warranty for defects in the purchased equipment or damage claims, to which the buyer of the equipment may be entitled based on the purchase contract with the respective seller. They refer exclusively to the present warranty promises of Vitamix.

7. WHEN DOES THE WARRANTY EXPIRE?

Improper, abusive or negligent use, modifications to the appliance, unusual or abnormal environmental conditions or failure to follow the operating instructions will void this warranty.

The warranty is also void if repairs to the appliance or replacement of components are made by anyone other than Vitamix or a Vitamix authorized service provider, or if components of the appliance covered by this warranty are used in conjunction with a motor base or container not expressly approved by Vitamix.

8. AUTHORIZATION OF RETURNS UNDER THIS WARRANTY.

If work or repairs are necessary on the device or parts, please contact us before sending the device by phone on the toll-free service number: 00-800-8482-6491 or via e-mail: service@vitamix.de to obtain a return authorization.

For appliances not registered with Vitamix, you will be asked to provide the date of purchase and proof of purchase. For appliances covered by this warranty, you will receive a return authorization number and the current shipping instructions. Vitamix will pay standard shipping charges when returning an appliance or components for maintenance or repair covered by this warranty, as well as the cost of returning the repaired or replaced appliance to you. Any costs incurred for special shipping are the responsibility of the purchaser.

If the device was purchased in Germany but is currently located in another country, the additional cost of shipping and any associated taxes and customs duties shall be borne by the owner of the device.

If you do not notify Vitamix within 48 hours after receipt of the returned equipment about any problem, including damage, that occurred during the return shipment, the returned equipment will be deemed accepted by you "as it is" to the extent that such problems were readily apparent to you by the exercise of reasonable care in the course of trade.
