Apricot Smoothie Recipe with Goutweed & Nectarines: "Summer rain"

Apricot Smoothie

The Apricot Smoothie tastes as fresh as a summer rain, thanks to fresh goutweed and ethereal basil notes. Add the fruits of the season: apricots and nectarines and a squeeze of lemon. Avocado rounds up the blend and gives the apricot smoothie a nice velvety texture.

Green smoothies have been my replacement for morning cerals since 2009. They are inspiring, delicious and speak for themselves. They fit into our lives with five kids and lots of joy in creative healthy cooking. I really love to prepare or create new smoothies. Inspired by the Green Smoothie, I combine two of my passions with my job: taking pictures and working with food.

I have just made the smoothie. I used a few more apricots and a little more spinach. Thanks to the avocado the smoothie was quite thick, so I rather ate it with a spoon instead of drinking it. ;)
Overall delicious, I could also imagine a few leaves of mint.

Hello Julia,

thank you for your comment. We are glad that you liked the apricot smoothie. It is an absolutely Mediterranean mixture - also mint could fit. Just give it a try!

Love,
