What preparation possibilities does the vitamix 30 offer?
The Vitamix S30 - Multifunction Personal Blender
The variety of uses for the S30 is impressive. The S30 combines 5 kitchen machines or functions in a single device. It is an ice maker, ice crusher, blender, grain grinder and vegetable grater:
- Smooth, creamy green smoothies
- Fruit and vegetable smoothies
- Delicious vegan milk, such as almond or hazelnut milk
- Healthy, vegan wholefood juices
- Fresh pestos, dips and sauces
- Sinfully delicious ice creations (fruit and milk ice cream, vegan ice cream), sorbets (fruit ice cream) and frozen yogurt
- Hot soups, sauces, fondues and chocolates heated by friction heat in minutes
- Raw food: creations of all kinds, such as chunky salsa, Italian pesto, chopped vegetables, soups or slivered nuts and almonds
- Healthy, fresh, vital baby food (baby food)
- Homemade nut butter or nut puree
Handling, operation and cleaning
Handling: Intuitive - Either screw the small 0.6 liter thermo-mix container or the bigger1.2 liter container onto the blade base, then place on motor block and you're ready to go.
TIP: The 1.2 liter container has proven to be the much better blender container after numerous uses. The 0.6 liter container is therefore only used on the road, if at all.
Operation: Turn to the right and increase the speed continuously. Turn to the left and pulse to speed level 4.
Cleaning: Simply add (warm) water to the container along with a few drops of detergent and run on speed 10 for 10-30 seconds... then unscrew the blade base and rinse the threads of the container and blade base under running water.
Our cleaning recommendation: Regardless of manufacturer instructions, we advise against cleaning the container, container lid, container insert as well as the blade block in the dishwasher. Our experience shows that you can extend the lifespan of the container and the blade block through manual cleaning.

Recommended accessories
We recommend our practical cleaning brush. It is especially practical after the preparation of thick viscose consistencies.
The spatula - used to get the last drops of blended ingredients out of the container. Especially sticky, viscous preparations tend to be very difficult to remove. (nut purees, pestos, dips, sauces)
Technical features and performance of the Vitamix S30
The motor: the Vitamix S30 is equipped with a 1 horsepower motor - Impressive for its size.
The Vitamix S30 can prepare cold drinks and food as well as hot or even boiling hot preparations! The heat is generated by the torque and the resulting friction between the food and the blade.
The blade block of the Vitamix S30 has cutting blades made of hardened, stainless, Japanese 18/8 stainless steel. Excellent performance and maximum durability characterize these knives.
Variable speed adjustment
In addition to the variable speed adjustment, the PULSE button can be held down. The blender will operate at maximum speed as long as the PULSE button is held down.
The Vitamix S30 is equipped with a novel 1.2 liter container made of Tritan plastic (BPA-free) and a 0.6 liter thermal container. The great thing about the two containers: you can use them as a drinking bottle.
This is possible by unscrewing the blade base from the container. The S30 is the first Vitamix model that is capable of doing this.

Durability and warranty of the Vitamix S30
The secret to the S30's longevity are excellent workmanship, intelligent design, and groundbreaking safety features:
- Workmanship: Vitamix products are handmade in the USA. Only high-quality components are used.
- Design: Many of the Vitamix's components have been custom-made through a decades-long process of research and development. Vitamix consequently holds patents on custom components, such as the tamper, container, lid, blades, motor block and air cooling.
- Safety: An appliance for continuous use over years and decades must have "life-sustaining and life-extending" safety mechanisms. Special attention is paid to the "core", the motor of the device: An overheating protection automatically switches off the motor in case of overload and only switches it on again after it has cooled down. The motor is also protected against water entering the device.
In short, no high-speed blender brand has focused on research, development, quality programs and testing as much as Vitamix has over the past 90 years. The comprehensive warranty "7 years on all parts for purely private use" is an expression of this.
Exemplary product support rounds off the very good overall impression: The buyer receives a high-quality instruction manual in several languages and an inspiring recipe book. Helpful tips & tricks on preparations round off the support.

The Vitamix S30 in our blender comparison
"No matter where life takes you or who's along for the ride, healthy options are quick, easy, and portable." - The Vitamix S30 is Vitamix's answer to the health-conscious "to-go" society and single households - young and old. The first personal blender from Vitamix has been available in Germany since spring 2015. We have tested it.
Stylomat Vitamix S30 - compact design
There it is, the Vitamix S30. It rises rocket-shaped into the kitchen sky of the GrueneSmoothie.com kitchen. You almost feel a bit like you're at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Our kitchen isn't as big as Cape Caneveral, nor is the S30 as huge as the Apollo. On the contrary - with its sleek design, this high-speed compact blender fits nicely into the narrowest kitchenette in a one-bedroom apartment. Unlike the Vitamix TNC 5200 and the Vitamix Pro 750, which have a rather massive presence as well as an almost Bauhaus-like design, Vitamix relies on stylish lightness with a futuristic touch for the S30. Visually, this moves the S30 from the ranks of kitchen appliances to the ranks of design kitchen objects.
The design of the Vitamix S30 is already convincing. Our test shows whether the form also corresponds to the function, i. e. whether the S30 takes us to green smoothie heaven with its blending skills.
Vitamix S30 - form follows function
It's not just in design - the S30 also differs from the other Vitamix appliances in terms of its functional concept. The Blade base can be unscrewed from the blender container for the first time. Once the blade base is screwed to the container, it can easily be placed on the motor block. From a safety point of view, this is completely harmless: because the S30 will not start until the container is correctly seated on the motor block. The Vitamix S30 scope od delivery contains a total of two containers - a 0.6 l Mix&Go thermal container and a 1.2 l container. Both containers are BPA-free.
As we want to drink our green smoothie on the go, we opt for the Mix&Go Thermo container. For us, who mostly use larger containers, blending in the smaller container is a bit tricky at first. Since the Mix&Go container is very narrow at the bottom (i. e., the top when blending), the ingredients get stuck and are not blended properly. A problem that can be solved: simply cut the ingredients into smaller pieces. And on we go. We quickly discover that this cup shape is best for blending at intervals. Use the pulse button or flip the switch quickly - The entire contents of the container shoot upward and collect what sticks to the walls of the container. If you want to enjoy your green smoothie at home, it is - due to the circumstances described - more convenient to use the large container for blending.
The blending result is impressive, thanks to the motor and the blade technology that Vitamix has to offer. To get the perfect creaminess, we recommend blending the green smoothie in the S30 a bit longer than in the other blenders of the Vitamix family. Of course, longer blending also means that the smoothie can warm up a bit. You can counteract this by adding a few ice cubes or ice-cold water. This is also advisable if you use the compact 0.6 liter container for blending. Putting it in the fridge afterwards does not help with cooling due to the heat-insulating walls of the container.
After blending, we simply unscrew the blade base from the container and put the flip-top lid with drinking spout on. The special feature of the Vitamix S30 is obvious here. The blended drink should already be at the ideal temperature, since it's already in the thermal cup. People who like to put the smoothie in the fridge after blending prefer to blend in the 2.0 liter container and then bottle their smoothie.
Back from the bike tour, the blade base including the sealing ring is clean and we are very hungry. We blend - using the large container - a basil and walnut pesto. The S30 convinces with its whipping power. Finely pureed and nice and creamy, the pesto tastes delicious. The last remnants can also be scooped out wonderfully by unscrewing the container from the blade base.
Compact solution for more flexibility
The S30 is perfect for single households and for people who only occasionally drink green smoothies and therefore prefer a blender that is somewhat low-key in its presence and can be easily stored away when not in use. One might also say that the S30 is an add-on for those who love green smoothies so much that even when they're away on weekends or vacations, they don't want to miss their daily morning dose. Thanks to a slim motor block as well as a low height, the S30 fits into the smallest bungalow kitchen and on top of that, it stylishly enhances it with its simple futuristic design. Our colleague Carla is one of those people who don't want to miss out on their perfect smoothie, even on vacation, and tested the S30 for its suitability for flying and vacationing.
The Vitamix S30 in the vacation test
Whenever I fly on vacation, the question comes up: With blender or without? Since literally every kilo counts, my Vitamix TNC 5200 or even a Vitamix Pro 750 explodes our suitcase capacities. On the other hand, we are real green smoothie freaks and can't go a week without our green breakfast. So far, the compromise was e. G. NutriBullet low weight and volume, but less creamy green smoothies and convenience. This year, everything is different. Vitamix has launched the S30, a much smaller blender, whose flight and vacation suitability I was allowed to test.
Pack up the blades: This is how we get through airport security with the Vitamix S30
It's off to Puglia at the heel of the Italian boot. Three of us are traveling with our daughter, so the suitcases filled up quickly. The Vitamix S30 weighs a total of 5.6 kg, which I cleverly distributed among us. My plan: only the blade base, which weighs a tender 423 grams, goes into my suitcase. This is one of the great advantages of the S30 over other high-speed blenders, where the blades are permanently integrated into the container. So I stow the 1.2 liter container without the blades in my daughter's carry-on luggage to make sure it doesn't get tossed around with other large suitcases during transport at the airport. The stuffed bunny makes itself comfortable in the container so that it doesn't take up so much space. Well, and the engine block and the two 600 ml to-go cups end up in the backpack of my strong Italian - all in all he has to carry 3.7 kg, but they are hardly noticeable on his back. After we have checked in, we go to the security check and my plan works out. Although we are asked to take the engine block out of the backpack, the security officer quickly understands our green preference and gives the green light. He says we did everything right, the knives must be checked in any case - as well as other pointed or sharp objects.
Italian wild herb smoothies from the Vitamix S30
Italy is family to us and to meet "La Famiglia" is to eat: Pizza, pasta, heavenly ice cream, incredible cornetti with vanilla cream and accompanied by the best wines from local winemakers. Everything just tastes better here. But still: if I don't drink my green smoothies in the morning, I will out burst in wheat mode. Luckily, the red Apulian soil is so fertile that we find a diverse selection of wild herbs in our Trullo's garden: Borage with its beautiful blue flowers, Tarassaco, a dandelion specie, wild fennel and arugula. I'm totally excited to see how the little Vitamix processes these wild leafy greens. Because as we all know, borage is a bit of a challenge even for a big high-speed blender. To the wild herb splendor I combine e. G. medlars, strawberries, banana, lemon and orange.
The Vitamix S30 instructions for a really creamy, fiber-free green smoothie
In total, I like to make 1.2 liters of Green Smoothie a day and use the full capacity from the S30 to give each of us a 600 ml breakfast. Our large family doesn't leave us time for more blending sessions. To make blending go well, here are my tips: First put the soft fruits in the container and then add the leafy greens and some water. Since it is not possible to put all the ingredients for 1.2 liters in the container at once, I briefly blend the "first" load to a coarse consistency. For the second, much longer blending run, I either use 3-4 ice cubes in addition to the water or just ice cold water. By blending multiple times, there is a risk that the mixture heats up, the Vitamix S30 has quite a lot of power. If you pay attention to the handling with ice cubes or iced water, the smoothie result is surprisingly close to the Vitamix TNC 5200. Anyway, my vacation smoothie has never been so creamy and fiber-free! Honestly, I wasn't expecting that. That's why I'm interested in a 1:1 comparison with the TNC with the same ingredients and the same quantities, which I'll do right after my vacation in Berlin. Again, a difference in taste is not noticeable. But it becomes clear once again: you have to blend about 15-20 seconds longer with the S30 than with the TNC in order to achieve the same results. If you prepare smaller quantities, e. G. only 600 ml, you only need one blending run. However, I blended using the 1.2 liter container in this comparison. Unfortunately, the 600 ml container does not quite come close to the creaminess of the large container.
The to-go containers
I prefer to drink my green smoothie from glass bottles - like the Retap bottle. If there is no way around plastic containers - it should be made of BPA-free material. Vitamix fulfills this desire with the 600 ml to-go cup, which I find quite handy on vacation. You don't have to look for a suitable wide-mouth glass bottle, and another benefit, the Vitamix cup is equipped with a flip-top lid that supports drinking in small sips without inhaling too much air. It also has a tab through which you can pull a carrying strap and carry the smoothie around like a purse. I loved doing this in the morning while walking through the incredibly fragrant countryside. Important: The lid has to snap when you close it, otherwise it can open up in wildly jumbled beach bags. That's what happened to me, unfortunately, which is why there are no photos of the Green Smoothie by the Apulian Sea. Something I didn't think of - blending the green smoothie directly in the to-go cup. It is possible, but of course it takes similar effort as with the Nutribullet. You have to cut the ingredients, blend them several times, etc. What works well in the to-go cup, however, are fruit smoothies - for example, strawberry-banana shakes, which my little daughter loves.
Conclusion: Not without my Vitamix S30
When I come home from vacation and drink a green smoothie made with my Vitamix TNC 5200, it not only tastes better, but I also feel the energy kick again - just like when I had my first real green smoothie ever. So far, I've been able to see that a high-speed blender not only prepares creamier green smoothies, but also more effective ones. The nutrients are finely pureed and better utilized by the body. When I return to Berlin from Puglia and switch back to the big one, the post-holiday kick fails to materialize. Do I have to give more conclusions about the Vitamix S30?

Hello dear gruenesmoothies team,
It's great that you guys answer all these questions!
My favorite would be the Vitamix S30 due to small preparation quantities. However, I would like to use my future blender to make cashew cream (soaked cashews and water). The result should be fluffing and stable. Very similar to real cream. I found this preparation on "The Organic Chef" on YouTube. Do you know if this works with the Vitamix S30?
I look forward to an answer,
best regards

Hi Natalie,
First: thank you very much for your feedback – we are happy to answer your questions :- )
Unfortunately, the Vitamix S30 is no longer produced.
I have watched the video of the gentleman. It looks like he is using the TNC 5200 or the Two Speed. These devices are much stronger than the S30. I would recommend the E310 in your case. The powerful motor and the 1.4 liter container allow the preparation of small portions of cashew cream.

What is the minimum preparation quantity, probably 250 ml?
Question submitted by Luisa Kl on April 8, 2020 at 23:44 o'clock
Dear Luisa,
The minimum preparation quantities are even smaller due to the narrower container base – as small as 150ml (liquid) and 200ml (viscose).

Hello,
i am torn between the S30 and the E310
The S30 is more symapthic to me in terms of size (although I have not seen either of them in the real life), but I have my doubts if it is good enough for my purposes in terms of performance.
So far, I have hardly needed a blender, for a smoothie, Nice Cream or Hummus my old Braun Multiquick with accessories was enough. Now I want to prepare mainly cashew cheese, and therefore need a high-speed blender.
I never process more than 1 liter, so both container sizes should fit. But I would like to be able to pulverize things, such as hemp seeds with shell, whole cacao beans for hot chocolate or wild herbs from time to time. Portion size will mostly be rather smaller (so max. 200 ml) are both blenders good (enough)?
Many thanks in advance.
Question submitted by Annett on February 14, 2020 at 19:31 o'clock
Hello Annett,
thank you very much for your message!
All the ingredients you mentioned can be processed with the S30, as well as with the E310. The S30 is also called "travel vitamix" because it is really handy and compact. The slightly larger E310 produces a finer result with its long blades. However, since you really want to prepare small quantities (200 ml), we recommend the S30

Question submitted by Anna on November 23, 2019 at 16:55 o'clock
Hello Anna,
thank you very much for your message.
We do not ship any of the devices we offer with a Swiss plug.
To operate a Vitamix S30 in Switzerland, you need a so-called fix adapter.

Why is there such a price difference between the different colors? Is there actually a difference or is it just the color?

The Vitamix S30 Stainless Steel comes with a housing in brushed stainless-steel. This additional manufacturing process makes the device more expensive – however, it also makes the device look more noble. In addition, fingerprints are less visible due to the no-touch surface.

Vitamix S30/E310
Hello,
for a decision between the two Vitamix models I have the following questions:
Does the S30 also have overheat/overload protection?
Is it really necessary to always add ice/water if you want to avoid this?
How well suited is the Vitamix E310 for the preparation of small quantities and viscous consistency. Won't there be a higher loss due to not being able to unscrew the blade base. How do I reach the mixed mass?
Thanks for an answer in advance, it would help a lot.
Roger Güntz
Question submitted by Roger Güntz on October 8, 2019 at 20:44 o'clock
Hello Roger Güntz,
thank you very much for your questions.
Like all Vitamix models, the S30 is equipped with overheating and overload protection.
On the subject of heating: It is not as if the S30 would warm up faster than other Vitamix models.
However, whether the ingredients heat up during the blending process or not depends on the durration of the blending run. For example, if you're blending a green smoothie with lamb's lettuce or postelein, blending longer won't help much. Since the leaves are comparatively soft, they will be finely pureed quickly. With wild herbs, on the other hand, it makes sense to blend longer.
Emptying the container: The E310 is equipped with the 1.4-liter container. This is somewhat more convenient to use than the long 2-liter container. It is easier to reach the bottom of the container and thus the loss is limited.
The Vitamix S30, on the other hand, has a very small container base, which primarily allows you to prepare very small amounts of dips, dressings, salsas, pesto, baby food, etc. We would rather see that as its strength.
Hopefully, we were able to help you decide, and if any more questions come up, we're happy to help!

Hello dear team,
I would like to ask you a question:
I am about to buy the Vitamix S30, but would like to make sure whether I make the right choice or whether a "larger"/more powerful Vitamix would be the better option for me.
Following situation: my health situation requires me to blend (" finely puree ") my meals.
It should have as good as no pieces / fibers more ... it is often about smaller / medium quantities for 1- max.2 people ... Examples would be: fruit and vegetable, almonds, pasta, onion pieces from sauces, etc., all this should be very fine ... if necessary also times with ice cubes or "harder" ingredients such as seeds/seeds etc...
Can the S30 do this, maybe even to take away in the to-go cup, or do I have to switch to another model because of the mixing power...?
Thanks for your feedback,
Many greetings,
Amy
Question submitted by Amy on June 24, 2019 at 13:31 o'clock
Hi Amy,
thank you for your question.
All preparations can be made with the Vitamix S30. The to-go-cups are primarily suitable for blending liquids such as shakes – smoothies are less creamy with them.
An alternative blender with a bit more power and larger capacity (1.4 liter container) would be the Vitamix E310.
I hope, this was helpful for your decision-making!:-)

Hello dear GreenSmoothies Team,
do the small containers from the new Ascent series fit on the S30. Would like to make small amounts of pesto and spreads.
LG Angela
Question submitted by Angela on January 10, 2018 at 06:57 o'clock
Hello Angela,
thank you for the question.
We took your question as an opportunity to test it once with the American mini cups and no, unfortunately it does not work.
The container can be unscrewed, but the edge is so wide that the knife block no longer goes deep enough into the engine block.
Of course, the mini cups are easier to empty, but with the 1.2-liter container, you can at least use the tamper while blending. This has great advantages, especially for an ingredient mix with a low liquid content.
In any case, we hope you continue to have fun blending!

thank you for the question.

Dear Green Smoothies Team,
can you make small amounts of nicecream, pesto and spread (one serving) with the Vitamix S30? Or is another high-speed blender better suitable for this? I own the Bianco Puro 1, with which small quantities unfortunately do not work. Therefore, I still have a Personal Blender and another blender for this purpose and would like to limit myself to one device (green smoothies with wild greens should also be possible).
Thank you and best regards

Question submitted by Magda on February 9, 2018 at 23:25 o'clock
Hi Magda,
thank you for your question, which I'm sure is on the minds of many.
We can well understand your need to reduce the number of kitchen gadgets.
If one high-speed blender is suitable for your purposes, then it is the Vitamix S 30.
Nicecreams, pesto, spreads, green (wild herbs) smoothies are no problem.
Unfortunately, I can't see exactly how much 1 serving is for you. 200-250ml are possible with the S30 and are certainly too much for a slice of bread…but a small supply for a few days!:-)
Best regards

Dear Green Smoothies Team,
i want to buy a high-speed blender, but can't decide which one is right for me. Maybe you guys can help me out? I have a single household and would like to make smoothies but mainly porridge, dips, hummus, sauces, soups, pesto and also nicecream, desserts, energyballs, nutmuss and nutmilk. The S30 sounds very fascinating to me because of its size, the smaller containers (for mainly small but sometimes larger portions) and the fact that you can unscrew it for cleaning and also the price. The Bianco Primo I have also discovered. Which of the two might suit me better? It is important to say that I have already had the TNC 5200 in practical testing. It's a bit too big for me on my own and I also don't find cleaning(especially with sticky compounds) practical. I have to stand on tiptoe and put my whole arm in to get everything out from under the blades. I may also have done something wrong. What do you guys think might be the right blender for me? I would be very happy to hear your opinion
Best regards,
Lene
Question submitted by Lene on July 22, 2018 at 12:54 o'clock
Hi Lene,
thank you for your question.
We have another suggestion that might be interesting for you, especially if the space in the kitchen is not a criterion:
We can also supply you with the Vitamix TNC 5200 with a 1.4 liter container instead of a 2 liter container. It's easier to empty and clean because it's not as high, and you don't have to put your whole arm into the container. It is just as versatile as the 2-liter container and has the same minimum quantities for preparations.
If this is of interest, simply let us know in the comment's field in the last step of the order process that the 1.4-liter container is desired instead of the 2-liter container.
With the Vitamix S30, it is of course easier to get under the blades, since you can unscrew the blade block.
The Vitamix S30 is also better suited for small quantities, which is especially true for dips and sauces. The minimum quantities are even lower than those of the Vitamix TNC 5200 with 1.4-liter container.
The Bianco Primo is again the least suitable of the blenders mentioned for smaller quantities, but it can be supplemented with the new Uno additional container. In terms of dimensions, the Uno is very comparable to the S30 1.2-liter container.
In any case, we would recommend our cleaning brush. It helps immensely to keep the tank clean for a long time.
Hopefully we could help you with this input in your decision! In the worst case, we still offer a 45-day money-back guarantee, so just see what seems the most promising and if it doesn't fit, it's the other blender.

Hello,
I am interested in buying a Vitamix. The S30 seems very interesting as it can process smaller quantities. Would be a great advantage for me as a single household. Would you recommend the S30 over the "more powerful" devices? For example, a Pro 750 I would need an additional smaller container to process smaller quantities, if I understood correctly?
Many greetings
Question submitted by Christina on June 21, 2018 at 19:43 o'clock
Hello Christina,
thank you for the question.
Although the S30 already achieves great results, it still just doesn't quite keep up with the larger models in terms of creaminess and comfort.
The Vitamix TNC 5200 can be an interesting alternative – an additional container is not necessary for smaller quantities, as it is the case with the Pro 750.

Hello!
Is the S30 also suitable for other power networks that have a lower voltage? It is advertised that it is well suited for travel.
Thank you.
Question submitted by Ankika on January 6, 2018 at 15:16 o'clock
Hi Ankika,
thank you for the question.
The Vitamix S30 is designed for voltages of 220 - 240 V and a frequency of 50 - 60 Hz. Thus, it fits for about 66% of all networks worldwide. Depending on the country, you may need an appropriate adapter.

Hello,
I really like the S30, but I'm concerned that fine plastic parts will scrape off when blending, even in the Tritan container. What is the best alternative if you prefer to use a glass container? We would like to make dips, spreads, nut purée, almond paste, smoothies, and plant-based milks
Thank you,
Alexandra
Question submitted by Alexandra on September 5, 2018 at 09:50 o'clock
Hello Alexandra,
thank you for the question.
High-speed blenders with glass containers never established themselves on the market.
Among the reasons we know are safety defects and weight.
It simply has not yet proven itself for everyday use.
All high-speed blenders that we can recommend are equipped with Eastman Tritan copolyester containers. Of course, we cannot rule out minimal abrasion, but unlike PET bottles, which also contain plasticizers, the contact time is extremely short. As a rule, less than 2 min.
Since we do not know of any blenders with glass containers that can prepare the foods you mentioned in the highest quality, we unfortunately cannot recommend any alternatives here at the moment.

So, I have no more question, all my questions about the purchase of the optimal blender for me were already answered by the very detailed Website – I knew that this blender (Vitamix S30) is the right one for me. I just wanted to mention that. I'm absolutely thrilled with it.
The smallness, the power, and the design, recipe book, recipe cards – a great overall package
Love greetings

Can an additional to-go cup be purchased separately? If so, how much does it cost?

Hello Gabriela,
that is no problem. Simply follow the link below, and you will find the cup without the blade base in our store:

Hello,
The Vitamix S30 was offered in white and black a few months ago. Will these colours be available again?

My Vitamix 30 container has become very discoloured, and the inside surface has become very rough. What have I done wrong? I am very satisfied and would not give back my Vitamix.
Is there a bigger container available for the S30?
Love greeting Josefine
Question submitted by josefine jamnik on October 27, 2017 at 10:13 o'clock
Hello dear Josefine,
thank you very much for your question.
These containers discolour with regular use over time.
What can be done about it?
One thing has to be said right away: Despite all efforts, the container will not look factory new.
The overnight cure with soda: Put a packet of soda (e.g. "Pure Soda" from Heitmann, or "Washing Soda" from Domol) and warm water into the container, mix briefly and leave to soak overnight, rinse with water and dry.
In general, it is important to always empty the container immediately and rinse it with clean water after blending (and a bit of dish soap if needed). Drying after rinsing is particularly advisable if the water contains a lot of lime, to prevent lime stains…
Best regards and good luck with the cleaning!:-)

The speed of only 21000 rpm cannot convince me – there are 10,000 rpm missing …would have bought the blender, beautiful it is.
Greeting, Hans
Question submitted by Hans on October 24, 2017 at 13:46 o'clock
Hello dear Hans,
we don't know of any blender that can do more than 30,000 rpm with a full container.
In fact, I don't even know one that can do 20,000 rpm with a full container.
I am happy to be convinced of the opposite.
In addition, the blade radius and the blade tip speed under load with a full container, as well as the container shape, are decisive for the creaminess of the mixing result.
The Vitamix S30 convinces in terms of the blending result. The green smoothies are comparable to those from the Vitamix TNC 5200 if you blend a bit longer.

Hello,
what do you do when you are traveling in a VW T 5 and only have the power of the car battery available, but do not want to give up smoothies?
Question submitted by Annette on October 23, 2017 at 13:05 o'clock
Hello Annette,
thank you for the interesting question.
Tobias has sent us a possibly suitable answer to this. (see below)
Best regards,
Your GrueneSmoothies.com Team
PS: Here is the answer from Tobias (Thank you!):
Hi Annette,
you can use an inverter.
It turns the 12V from the car battery into 230V AC.
However, the Vitamix needs about 1000-1200W power. On Amazon I would recommend this one with 1700W power.
According to the manual, the car should have at least a 165A battery.
Maybe a smaller battery works because the Vitamix only runs for a short time.
But the starting current of motors should not be underestimated.

Basically a bull's eye in terms of function, size and appearance (blue color: heavenly)! For my single household I made the best choice. The unscrewing of the blade part I appreciate when cleaning! I am delighted with the handling. Unfortunately, something for my taste already very loud when not alone in the house. When putting on the lid I'm still a little unsure if it sits properly, closes a little wobbly, is there possibly a trick?
Editor's note:
Yes, there is actually a trick to get the lid to fit a little better. Simply place the container in the sink with the lid engaged and without the lid cap. Then let boiling water cool briefly (below 100 degrees Celsius) and then fill the container to the maximum until the water comes out the top of the lid opening. Then leave the container like this overnight. If the first pass does not bring the desired success, simply repeat a second time. Have fun blending! -

Do not like to be without the 'little one"The S30 was my Christmas gift exactly 2 years ago, because I wanted to eat more fruits and vegetables and am not a big light in the kitchen! Since then, he mixes me faithfully every day the breakfast smoothie for my husband and me. Very easy to use and clean. For us, the small Vitamix is quite enough.

The S 30 is the perfect travel solutionI have a Vitamix 750 pro, I travel a lot also with airplane, always had the problem blender take along or not, decision clear take along problem weight and space in the suitcase. After 2 years I had enough of it and got me the S 30, the perfect solution it accompanies everywhere and works very well. Result: Who travels a lot and does not want to do without his blender is well advised with the S 30. So I have to quickly make another smoothie. Bye and until Saturday need for my daughter another Bianco di Puro Primo Günter
