Operation & handling of the Vitamix Pro 750

Vitamix Pro 750 Bedienung

Vitamix stays true to its design roots with the Vitamix Pro 750 and delivers a modern, well thought-out operating concept. The manual control allows you to select a speed and then press the start/stop button once or hold down the pulse button to start the blender. Unlike many manufacturers, the pulse switch displays the speed selected with the dial instead of the maximum speed. This enables particularly precise preparation.
In addition to manual control, the Vitamix Pro 750 offers a total of 5 time programs, which Vitamix calls "Smart Blending":

Smart Blending in the Vitamix Pro 750: 5 time programs that leave you time for the important things in everyday life.

  1. Smoothies: The (green) smoothie is ready in 45 seconds!
  2. Ice cream: The ice cream program takes 55 seconds for a perfect, creamy ice cream consistency
  3. Warm soups: Filled with raw vegetables, the Pro 750 creates a hot soup within 5:45 minutes. Caution: Let the soup cool down a little, otherwise you'll burn your tongue!
  4. Puree: Everything is finely pureed in 60 seconds. This program is also ideal for you if you like particularly fine green smoothies or use lots of fibrous ingredients such as wild herbs. The smoothie then becomes even rounder.
  5. Cleaning: The Pro 750 takes care of stubborn residues itself. Simply fill with water and two drops of washing-up liquid and activate the cleaning program, then rinse and you're done.

The programs have also proven themselves in practice. They are all well thought out and deliver what they promise. Apart from preparing ice cream, where constant manual tamping is unavoidable, the timed programs allow you to leave the room without anything boiling over. When you return to the kitchen, your drink or soup is ready.

Ecological: The Vitamix Pro 750 has a "real" on/off switch on the right-hand side. This means no standby power is wasted.

Cleaning the Vitamix Pro 750

Cleaning the Vitamix Pro 750 container

Cleaning the Vitamix Pro 750 is very easy. After emptying the container, simply rinse it under running water and you're done. For example, if you have prepared a white smoothie with greasy ingredients such as avocado, nuts or oil, fill the container with water and a drop of detergent and the cleaning program will do the rest. Then rinse the blender jug under running water.

Cleaning the Vitamix Pro 750 motor block

The rubber mat on the motor block can be easily wiped with a damp cloth and removed for cleaning if necessary.

Due to the smooth surface, the rest of the motor block can also be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Vitamix Classic grinding container for coffee or grain

Alternatively, the Vitamix Classic grinding container (dry container) is recommended for regular grinding of coffee and grains. The normal "wet" containers are also suitable for occasional grinding, but the blender jug will become blind/cloudy over time, making it harder to see the contents of the container. This may not matter when grinding, but for pesto, which should have a very specific consistency, it is important to see when this is reached so that you can stop the blender at the right moment.

Vitamix Pro 750 test

Vitamix Pro 750 mit Zutaten gefüllt und bei Carla im Arm

They are indispensable when it comes to really creamy green smoothies. And of course they can do much more: soups, pestos, nut butters, plant milks and ice cream. Today we're talking about our high speed blenders - or rather a new one, the Vitamix Pro 750. I'm writing this blender review because I've had a Vitamix TNC 5200 for five years and still feel blender bliss every day. However, the arrival of the Vitamix Pro 750 sparked something of an interest in a new machine for the first time. Why?

Vitamix Pro 750: Perfectly shaped and easier to handle

Spontaneous reaction when unpacking: Wow - what a compact and perfectly shaped look. The container is wider and lower than the other Vitamix models - but still holds 2 liters. This makes it easier to handle when rinsing and also more suitable for small kitchens. At the same time, the Pro 750 really shines with its elegant stainless steel look (NEW: with real stainless steel housing including no-touch coating). I could really imagine it in my attic apartment, just from the design alone. After all, it has already won several awards in this category ("Kitchen Innovation of the Year" 2014 and "Plus X Award").

More power, more convenience

In terms of performance and versatility, Vitamix promises a new blender era with the Pro 750. Five automatic program functions for smoothies, ice cream, soups, purees and cleaning provide significantly more convenience. The infinitely variable speed control up to the maximum and the pulse function draw on a full 1,200 watts. At 9.7 cm, the blades are the longest in our range. So much for the unique selling points among Vitamix blenders. A cookbook is included with many recipes in which the Pro 750 is used. An absolute all-rounder - for raw, vegan, vegetarian - in fact, for EVERY cuisine.

Second reaction: This could become my new favorite blender.

Vitamix Pro 750! Show me what you can do!

For our Vitamix Pro 750 test, our entire team put the blender under the microscope. We had it chop, grate, knead, crush, grind and, of course, puree. As a result, we present to you an (all-)day with this high speed blender, which - this much is already certain - was a lot of fun.

8 a.m.: Espresso macchiato with almond milk foam

Good morning Vitamix Pro 750! Could you please make me some almond milk for my espresso foam? Of course, it's ultra-simple: the almond milk turns out super smooth and creamy, as you'd expect from a Vitamix, and is easy to froth.

Here is the recipe:

  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 cup almonds (soak in water overnight)
  • 3 Medjool dates
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of vanilla

(More almond milk recipes)

Place all the ingredients in the blender and blend on speed 10 for approx. 2 minutes. Then pass the milk through a filter (e. G. a nut milk bag or cheesecloth) to remove the almond flour (can still be used for baking). The almond milk can be kept in the fridge for at least 2 days. And will be drunk by the family anyway..

Vitamix Pro 750 Rezept - Espresso Macchiato mit Mandelmilchschaum

11 am: Green Bowl from the Vitamix Pro 750

If the Pro 750 really wants to be taken seriously by me, it has to make green smoothies that are at least as creamy as the TNC. The best breakfast ever becomes the yardstick.
The wider container definitely eliminates some of the chopping of fruit and leafy greens. A convenience plus. For example, you could easily put an apple whole into the Pro 750. Or even half a pineapple. The generous opening makes it easy to stuff, if you can call it that. Of course, we add a good portion of wild herbs to give this super blender enough of a fibrous challenge.
Now simply select the "Smoothies" program function and let the Pro 750 do its thing. After 45 seconds, the blender switches off - the green smoothie is ready. This is spooned into a green bowl to enjoy the texture to the full. "Creamy smooth, that's how my green smoothie should be..." The green smoothie is even smoother, even creamier than with the TNC or the Vitamix Pro 500. It must therefore be due to the wider container, which, in combination with the slightly longer blades, can grip and smash the ingredients even better. Can this really be the case? I put the Vitamix Pro 750 to a new test in a direct comparison with my TNC: both should only blend apples, water and lettuce, as these are known to take the creaminess out of many a green smoothie. Blend at maximum for 1 minute each. Close your eyes and taste - the difference is there again. The green Apel smoothie from the Pro 750 is a touch smoother.

Here are the ingredients:

  • 1 handful of spinach
  • ½ bunch of parsley
  • 1 handful of lettuce
  • 1 handful of wild herbs
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1 small pear
  • 1 apple
  • 1 large slice of orange with peel
  • 1/8 lemon
  • 300 ml water

I used hemp seeds, shredded coconut and small chopped Medjool dates as a topping. Alternatively, and depending on what you have in stock, cocoa nibs, flower pollen, goji berries or simply finely chopped fruit "on the top" are also suitable.

Lunch with the Vitamix Pro 750: Pizza Magherita

Pizza is on the menu for lunch. I'm very curious to see if the blender can make a quick and tasty pizza dough. As I rarely eat pizza, let alone make it myself, I invited an external tester for this task: Berlin chef and cooking course teacher Guido Vinci. Italians of his kind can master the art of pizza baking in the blink of an eye. The mixer is now set to do this work for Guido. Can it really knead so well, will the dough really rise? There is a certain skepticism in the air. While the dough has time to rise, Guido prepares the raw tomato sauce with the Pro 750. This does without onions and garlic, instead the Italian adds a good portion of fresh herbs and the best Himalayan salt. It simply tastes HAMMER. Good products, good tools, good Guido. That's how it should be in the kitchen. The rest of the pizza-making process is familiar: Pizza dough on the tray, spread, top - off to the oven.
Result - come il Maestro dice: "We should have left the pizza in the oven a little longer, but the mixed dough works." Crispy - light and tasty. A top alternative when things have to go really quickly or for large parties with lots of hungry pizza lovers. Grazie Guido, grazie Pro 750! Vitamix Pro 750 Rezept - Pizza Magherita Here is the recipe for the dough:

  • 375 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of Himayala salt
  • 320 ml hot water
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil

Place the flour, yeast and salt in the container and close the lid. Slowly increase the speed to level 8. Mix for 5 seconds. Switch off the appliance and remove the lid. Turn the control to level 3. Press the pulse button briefly 60 times for about 45 seconds and slowly pour the oil and water through the opening until a ball forms. Aha - that's how a high speed blender kneads - I hope I'm not making a mistake. Oh, suddenly the blender stops, no movement despite pressing the pulse button. There is also an unpleasant smell in the room. It's probably the overheating protection. After a few minutes it continues. A ball actually forms, now press the pulse button for another 10 to 15 seconds and the mixer dough is ready. Dust your hands with flour, remove the dough from the container and shape it into a round ball. Place the dough in a greased bowl and roll it around to grease it on all sides. Leave the dough to rise for about 10 minutes to form a thin base. Shape into a pizza and top as desired. bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

Phew, as the mixer needed a break to cool down in between, it took longer than expected. Kneading dough is certainly not his favorite discipline. Next time I'll probably knead by hand again, which will also save me having to clean the bowl. Let's see how the tomato sauce turns out. Vitamix Pro 750 Rezept - Zubereitung Pizza Magherita Vitamix Pro 750 - Pizza Magherita Here is the recipe for the tomato sauce:

  • 250 g tomatoes
  • 40 ml olive oil
  • a large handful of herbs (basil, marjoram, thyme... and whatever your Mediterranean heart desires)
  • Himalayan salt to taste

Place all the ingredients in the blender and slowly turn up to maximum/speed setting 10 - blend for approx. 1 minute. Done. If you have some left over, you can also turn the tomato sauce into a delicious (raw vegetable) soup. Simply blend the rest for 2 minutes on maximum - it should steam slightly. Season to taste. Enjoy your meal!

2 p.m. - Dessert: Orange sorbetto from the Vitamix Pro 750

I end the afternoon with an Italian-style orange sorbetto. I can test the ice cream function right away.

Here is the recipe:

  • 2 oranges, peeled, halved with seeds
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons coconut blossom sugar
  • 960 ml ice cubes

Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and use the "Frozen Desserts" program to create the orange sorbetto. While the program is running, I use the pusher - also known as the tamper - to move the ingredients towards the blades.
After 55 seconds, my sorbet is ready and can be enjoyed immediately. Mmmhh! After years of getting by without time programs on the TNC and occasionally maltreating the ingredients for too long because I had to get to the door, the phone or a running child's nose, I am delighted with this convenience.

4 p.m. - Snack: children's salad with almond butter

The kids are here and are hungry for a snack. Help, nothing there, nothing prepared! How about a finely chopped salad... After all, that's what the Vitamix Pro 750 is supposed to do.
We make a fresh almond butter dressing. Half an hour later, the small group sits and munches away. Complaint: negative.

A small point of criticism from the blender front: the nut butter turns out perfectly. However, the wide blender jug of the Pro 750 requires a considerable amount of ingredients to be able to grip it. The same happens with pestos, for example. If you already own a Vitamix, you can simply use the old, narrower container and make smaller quantities. Otherwise, pre-produce or purchase the ideal additional container, the Vitamix 1.4 liter container.

Here is the recipe for the almond butter:

  • 400 g roasted almonds
  • 70 ml rapeseed oil
  • 1 pinch of Himalayan salt

Place all the ingredients in the blender and start the puree program - after 60 seconds, the Pro 750 is also ready with the almond paste.

Here is the recipe for the children's salad:

  • 1 apple
  • 1 carrot
  • ½ fennel
  • Squeeze of lemon

Place all the ingredients in the blender, set the control to level 5 and then press the pulse button up to 10 times until the ingredients are roughly chopped. Then fill the salad into the bowls and drizzle with almond butter.

18.30 hrs - Dinner: Thai pumpkin soup from the Vitamix Pro 750

For dinner, we go from Bella Italia to Southeast Asia: Thai pumpkin soup. Contrary to my expectations, this is nothing really raw like our 1a tomato sauce for lunch. However, pumpkin's starchiness is one of those things. We brush it with olive oil and put it in the oven to pre-roast - at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes until it has brown tips. This definitely gives it a hearty roasted flavor.
Then we blend it using the puree program rather than the soup program. this takes 60 seconds. That's it. The soup is very creamy and delicious.

Here is the soup recipe:

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 160 g chopped onions
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 1 medium pumpkin, in the oven at 180 degrees, 20 minutes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped ginger
  • 1 clove of garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 720 ml water
  • 180 ml coconut cream
  • 180 ml coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green chili peppers
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Himalayan salt & pepper

Before it goes into the blender: Sauté the onions in olive oil until they are soft. Add tomato paste, pumpkin, ginger, garlic, water, coconut cream and coconut milk. Heat while stirring. Pour the mixture into the blender, add the chili peppers and lemon juice. Start the puree program. Then season to taste with pepper and Himalayan.

9 p.m. - nightcap

It's getting autumnal in Berlin. Especially in the evenings. I feel like something warming. Oh yes - I'm testing the Pro 750 today. Can it conjure up another nightcap for me?
There's still some almond milk left over from the morning. I froth some of it up. The rest goes into the blender, along with the following spice mixture according to personal preference: e. G. star anise, cinnamon, vanilla, orange zest, cardamom, cocoa. Blend at maximum (level 10) for approx. 1 minute until the nightcap is slightly warm. Then sieve out any spice residue. Pour, top up with foam and garnish with a pinch of cinnamon. This is the perfect way to end the evening.

Vitamix Pro 750 Rezept - Espresso Macchiato mit Mandelmilchschaum

A day comes to an end and I've arrived in the Pro 750 era. I wouldn't have thought so. I bought it, the price is justified. It can do pretty much everything and yet it remains a specialist for green smoothies. The problem with other multifunctional appliances is that they can do everything, but nothing really. This one is definitely different. It makes it even easier to eat more raw and healthy foods. And it's fun. An important ingredient in cooking.

Vitamix Pro 750 alternatives

Vitamix Pro 750 vs. Vitamix A3500i

The flagship model of the classic line and the "smart" new line have a lot in common and yet differ in detail. First of all, what they have in common: the creaminess of the smoothies is unrivaled, no other blender blends so finely. This is mainly due to the container with its large base and long blade circumference.
Now to the advantages of the Pro 750:

  1. Dimensions: the Pro 750 cuts a slimmer figure. It has 4 cm less belly. You notice that.
  2. Acoustics: It is approx. 3 dB quieter when filled with 1500 ml at maximum speed. Your ears will thank you. This makes the Pro 750 the quietest Vitamix.
  3. No high-frequency radiation: The Pro 750 does not contain any wireless radio technology, such as Bluetooth or NFC on the A3500i for app connectivity and container detection.

However, the A3500i does have a few advantages:

  1. Cleaning: The containers in the new Smart range are all dishwasher-safe. Even if daily rinsing under the tap is probably much quicker. Cleaning in the dishwasher once a month or once a week is certainly not a bad idea.
  2. Safety: The blender only starts when the container lid is locked in place.
  3. Warranty: The latest smart blenders have a 10-year warranty, i. e. 3 years longer.
  4. Control: The timer always shows you how long the blender has been running.

In conclusion, we would generally recommend the Pro 750. This may be because we have simply admired the Pro 750's beautiful design over the years and have become accustomed to it. Or simply because we have grown up without the technical bells and whistles, such as container recognition. The differences are not that significant, so one can confidently choose according to personal preference.

Vitamix Pro 750 vs. Vitamix E320

First of all, let's start with the basics: The Vitamix Pro 750 is better. The Vitamix E320 has no advantages over the Pro 750. The only argument for the E320 is the price advantage and possibly the absence of time programs, if one wants to see that as an advantage.

What both models have in common is the container. In our experience, it is the best container for smoothies ever. In terms of motor power, the Vitamix Pro 750 is only slightly ahead of the E320. The difference is unlikely to be noticeable to most people in everyday use. However, the motor base of the Pro 750 is noticeably heavier and better insulated, resulting in less noise during blending.

From an aesthetic point of view and also in terms of tactile sensation, the Pro 750 appears more valuable. The housing design is convincing, as are the control elements such as the toggle switch and the dial. Everything feels a bit more high-quality.

Lastly, the Pro 750 also has 5 timer programs. So, for example, you can turn it on for cleaning and it will finish the cleaning program by itself. That's convenient, especially once you get used to it. On the other hand, the E320 is essentially self-explanatory due to the absence of programs, allowing you to start right away. This can be seen as an advantage or a disadvantage.

Vitamix Pro 750 vs. Vitamix E520

The Vitamix Pro 750 and Vitamix E520 are like big and little brothers to us—or like the best blender vs. our new favorite blender. Let's start with the similarities: Both blenders are equipped with the Vitamix 2-liter Pro container, which ensures the creamiest green smoothie consistency and finely purees all creamy blender recipes such as hummus, baba ganoush, or a cream soup. Due to the same container, both blenders also have similarly compact dimensions, allowing both the Pro 750 and E520 to fit under any kitchen cabinet.

In terms of operation, the Vitamix Pro 750 and Vitamix E520 are also similar. In addition to a manual mode with 10 speed settings, both blenders offer time programs for added blending convenience. The Pro 750 has five programs—for smoothies, ice, soups, purees, and cleaning; the E520 has three programs—omitting the cleaning and puree programs.

Differences in motor power, noise, and appearance

The Vitamix Pro 750 is slightly more powerful than the Vitamix E520 and therefore spins a bit faster. However, this performance difference is not noticeable in taste. Both blenders produce equally fine green smoothies, vegetable smoothies, or fruit smoothies, as well as popular blender recipes like hummus or baba ganoush.

The two blenders differ noticeably in appearance and feel. The Vitamix Pro 750 features an award-winning design with a high-quality housing and a no-touch coating (no fingerprints) and is dubbed the "quietest Vitamix." As mentioned earlier, the lower noise level may be attributed to the motor base, which is heavier and better insulated.

On the other hand, the Vitamix E520 forgoes the elegant look and is slightly louder during operation. However, it scores with a very attractive price, making it an instant hit with us despite its nearly identical features. Typical little brother!

Total 34 question(s)

Hi, A few weeks ago we did exchange by phone on the 750 and the 3500. I have two questions:
1. Your information says the 750 is a little more quiet than the 3500. However, on various other sites and videos the reverse is said.
2. For the 3500 there is not only the 1,4 liter, but also another smaller container for e.g. mayonaise etc. is available. Is this last one also available for the 750, or only the 1,4 liter?
Thanks for answering, Theo

Question submitted by Theo on January 19, 2023 at 20:48 o'clock

Hello Theo,
thank you for your message.
Although our decibel measurements gave different results for the Pro 750 (83db) and the A3500i (86db), it is in the end very subjective how the volume is perceived. For example, if a motor emits many higher frequencies, it will be perceived as louder by most people, although it may be quieter by the meter.
If you attach great importance to a quiet device, you can definitely do something about it with our
noise cancelling pad .

The Vitamix Aer Disc container for cream mayonnaise and the like is only available for the ascent series.
With the Pro 750 you can only choose between a 1.4 liter, 0.9 liter and a grinding container as an additional container.

Best wishes,

Hello, I am looking for a high-speed blender, the Vitamix Pro 750 has caught my attention. I also want to prepare fine spreads, is the Vitamix a suitable device for this? Can it also process smaller quantities?

Question submitted by Nela Zander on July 26, 2022 at 23:10 o'clock

Hello Nela,

Thank you very much for your message.
Yes, the Pro750 is very suitable for the preparation of fine spreads.
However, with its standard container, you have relatively high minimum preparation quantities between 500 and 800 ml, depending on how viscous the spreads are. The more viscous, the higher minimum preparation quantity.
Therefore, it is advisable to additionally purchase the 1.4 liter container to be able to blend smaller quantities – the minimum preparation quantities are between 250 ml and 400 ml, depending on the consistency.

Why is the vitamix 750pro throttled? And has a lower speed than the vitamix 5200 ?

Question submitted by Andrea Missal on May 31, 2022 at 15:02 o'clock

Hello Andrea,

Thank you very much for your message.
In contrast to the TNC 5200, the Pro 750 has a digital PCB motor control.
For each speed level selected with the rotary wheel, the control regulates the speed so that the speed defined for this level is reached.
This is easier when mixing air or water, but more difficult when making ice cream or nut butter, for example.
The speed and the power are therefore constantly monitored in order to reach the set speed.
This results in "throttling" in the broadest sense.
The TNC5200, with its analogue control, does not have motor control.
The power applied to the knives is practically the same as for a potentiometer.
If you need information on the capability of a blender, the so-called blade tip speed has a much higher informative value than the speed. The Speed indicates how much power actually reaches the material to be blended.

Yours sincerely,
Your Team

Hello Team,
Two questions about this device:
1. Can you say something about a comparable Blendtec blender? This one is supposed to conjure up a better tasting result than the vitamix due to the blunt blades
2. Can the vitamix and blendtech blenders disassembled to clean the blades?
Looking forward to your answer

Question submitted by Ute Bolduan on July 9, 2021 at 23:09 o'clock

Hello Ute,

Thank you very much for your message. I will be happy to answer your questions :- )

The Vitamix containers are also equipped with blunt or unsharpened blades. The food is not cut, but smashed.
Especially the Pro 750 can score with a very high blade tip speed, this device achieves a finer smoothie result than the Blendtec.

The blade base is not detachable on either device.

can the Vitamix grind pomegranate seeds and raspberries into a really creamy mass, and if so, which model would be best? I currently have a Bosch MMBV622M VitaMaxx vacuum stand mixer that does not crush raspberries and pomegranate. The consistency is sandy, but not creamy.
Greetings Achim

Question submitted by Achim on January 8, 2021 at 00:34 o'clock

Hello Achim,

Thank you very much for your question.
Raspberry seeds are the supreme discipline for high-speed blenders, completely smashing them every time can't be guaranteed.

You have the best chances with devices that reach a high blade tip speed, i.e., high number of revolutions + long blades.
The first device that comes to my head is the Pro750, but also the Pro 300 or the Vitamix Ascent series.
It also depends on the consistency of the product to be blended. The more liquid the product, the lower the chance that raspberry seeds will be crushed.

Hello all,
I've recently become the proud owner of the Pro 750 and I'm very happy, but I'm a little unsure because the 1.4 liter container sits loosely on the motor block compared to the 2L container. Made ice cream with it today and was anxious that the container would jump off the motor block. Is this normal?

Thank you so much for your feedback and for the great service.

Hello Saskia,

Thank you for the message. We are delighted to hear that you are happy with the Pro 750 – we are too :- )

The play and the twisting of the 1.4 liter container, is intended by Vitamix and makes it easier to put the container on the motor block.
The base of the 2.0 liter container is not square, but curved, not allowing any movement.

Therefore, you don't have to worry ;- )

I received the Pro 750 today and immediately cleaned it with water and dishwashing liquid.
However, some water dripped out between the lid and the tank on the highest speed. I have done this several times and checked if the lid is tight. But the water leaks out every time. Is this normal?

Thank you and best regards

Question submitted by Sebastian on July 13, 2021 at 20:00 o'clock

Hello Sven,

Thank you very much for your message.

The lids are indeed not completely tight when “blending” water, especially with dishwashing liquid.
On the one hand, heating and expanding air must be able to escape when preparing hot dishes like soups.
Furthermore, the viscosity of water is very, very low and the pressure built up in the container is very high, so that the water "finds it way".
Normal blending operations have a higher viscosity and the container remains leak-proof.

Hello : )
I proudly received my Vitamix Pro 750 yesterday. Now I have a question:
If I want to finely grind cashews for a spread, for example, or I want to make almond paste, do I need the grinding container or do I do that in the small 1.4l container?
I just don't want to unnecessarily spruce the container, so I'd rather ask beforehand to be on the safe side.
I greatly appreciate your help,

Question submitted by Sandra Schartner on January 7, 2021 at 14:56 o'clock

Hello Sandra,

Thank you for your message.
For the applications you mentioned, you do not need the dry container, it even works better with the "wet" containers.
You can either use your 2 liter container if you want to prepare at least 600ml or the 1.4 liter container if you wish to prepare smaller quantities (starting at 350ml).
We advise not to blend too long when grinding nuts, the power of the blender can turn them into a viscous mass really quick.

Question submitted by Paul on March 24, 2021 at 16:27 o'clock

Hello Paul,

Thank you very much for your message.

We often get asked about good glass containers for high-speed blenders, so they are in development. But it will take quite a while… it is really hard to get the glass into the square shape for good circulation and swirling of the mix without too much dangerous tension in the glass.

In addition, thick-walled glass containers, for which the vibrations during the blending process are not problematic, would be very heavy and thus also impractical for many customers.

We have information on a 1.4 liter stainless-steel container for the Vitamix models. However, we have no information on when this container will be launched.
We can assure you that the plastic containers from Vitamix are really durable if you take good care of them.

Please let us know if you have any more questions :- )

Question submitted by Sonja Berger on June 12, 2020 at 14:09 o'clock

Hello Sonja,

thank you very much for your message

We do not recommend cleaning these parts in the dishwasher. The lid could be deformed and therefore no longer sit tightly on the container.

The container itself should also not be put in the dishwasher! Oil may be washed out of the ball bearing, leading to the blades no longer rotating properly.

Since the minimum preparation quantity of the 2.0 liter container is 400 ml (liquid consistency), you can conveniently prepare your smoothies in the standard container of the Pro750.

The 1.4 liter container, does not quite reach the creaminess of the large 2.0 liter container of the Pro 750 – this is due to the smaller blades,

Hello Megi,
thank you very much for your message.

The only product that comes into my mind right now is the Revo2Pads. This noise reduction pad can be used with all high-speed blenders we offer.

The noise reduction pad is placed underneath the blender where it absorbs the vibrations – this reduces the noise level in surrounding rooms. However, in close proximity, there is hardly any audible noise reduction.

Question submitted by Irina on December 27, 2019 at 20:23 o'clock

Hello Irina,

thank you very much for your question.

The blades of the 1.4 liter container are smaller than those of the 2.0 liter container of the Pro 750. The 1.4 liter container is very suitable for preparing smaller quantities from 250 ml (liquid ingredients). With the 2.0 liter container, a good result can only be achieved from 400 ml (liquid ingredients); otherwise the blades run dry. It is advisable to consider whether you generally want to process larger (e.g., smoothies, soups) or small quantities. (e.g., pesto and spreads)

The Vitamix dry grains container is recommended for people who regularly grind, at least once a week. Grinding will make the container go blind over time.

I hope, I was able to answer your questions!:-)

Hello B.Saesseli,

Thank you for your interest in the great Vitamix Pro750 Heritage Collection. We deliver our blenders to Switzerland free of shipping costs, and WITHOUT German VAT – this will be deducted directly at purchase in the shopping cart.

In Switzerland, you must then pay additional customs duties.
In addition to the basic fee CHF 11.50, you will be charged a surcharge of 3% of the declared value of goods (excluding import duties and customs clearance).

Examples: A package has a value of CHF 400.00:
Basic fee: CHF 11.50 (regardless of the value of the goods)
Surcharge: CHF 12.00 (corresponds to 3% of the declared value of goods)
Flat-rate customs clearance fee: CHF 23.50 (=total amount of fees)

In addition, of course, the Swiss VAT of 7% must be paid.

It is important that the total net sales price does not exceed 1000 Euro! Otherwise, the procedure becomes extremely complicated ;)

Hello Tola,

We only sell equipment with a German plug. The 1.4 liter container is often purchased with the Pro750.
It is the perfect complement for preparing small quantities, as you have to remember the minimum preparation quantity of 400 ml with the 2.0 liter container.

The normal 1,4 liter container already achieves very good results when grinding. The dry container is considered a “special container”. However, if you grind harder foods in the container regularly, it can lead to the plastic turning cloudy / blind.

thank you very much for your message.

A 0.9l container will not be available for the Ascent series.
Unfortunately, we don't know yet when to expect the launch of the 1,4 liter container for the Vitamix A2500i.
Here is some preventive information: the 1.4 liter containers that are already available in the USA will not be recognized by European devices.
This also has to do with the container lid detection, which had to be implemented for the European market.

The small Ascent containers will not be available for the Pro 750.

The lid of the 225ml container also fits the 600ml container.

Best regards!

Question submitted by Sandra on March 16, 2019 at 17:50 o'clock

Hi Sandra,

Thank you very much for the hint.

We have now also added it to the Pro 750 page. There already was a comparison on the A3500i page.

Subjectively, we would rather recommend the Pro 750, but it should be clear that it is a real luxury problem to have to decide between the two models. Some of our team had to bravely face this problem as well, and most of them stayed with the Pro 750 despite extremely attractive conditions. How do we explain this?
1. Dishwasher suitability is not an issue anyway – because people have already become accustomed to washing manually over the years.
2. Container lid detection also leaves you cold because you have already worked routinely with the blender for years.
3. App connectivity does nothing because the app is modest.
The “real” advantages, in our opinion, are mainly the timer display (especially when blending longer), the directly responding pulse function (because you still know it from the TNC 5200) and the 3-year longer warranty period.

All these points do not necessarily cause a WOW effect.

The 1.4-liter container, on the other hand, allows you to make nut butter or nicecream in smaller quantities.

Therefore, the Pro 750 already has a few strong arguments on its side.

In any case, we hope you enjoy blending!;-)

Hello Lui,

Question submitted by I.M on November 23, 2018 at 19:49 o'clock

thanks for your questions.

The warranty applies, but you would need to cover the additional shipping costs back and forth in case of a warranty claim.

And yes, we do ship to Denmark as well.

Concerning the black particle issue, Vitamix changed the whole production for all containers in 2015. Since September 2015 we do only sell the new updated version for both blenders and single containers. There are no exceptions here.

Each Vitamix blender we sell has a unique serial number, that you can use for the product registration and any warranty claim. You will find it on the bottom of the Vitamix Pro 750.

We hope that these answers will help you.

I would like to know if this device has a turbo function, so you can get over 30,000 rpm?

Question submitted by Anto on November 22, 2017 at 13:49 o'clock

Hello Anto,

thank you for your question.

The Vitamix Pro 750 is the successor of the legendary classic Vitamix TNC 5200. The Pro750 was made with a throttled, lower speed but more powerful motor, for technical reasons. Sounds paradoxical, but it allows the use of longer blades, which ultimately achieve a significantly higher blade tip speed than the Vitamix TNC 5200.

The practical result is tastily creamier smoothies, with smaller particle size.
There was a nice comparison with raspberry seeds on YouTube: The seeds were pressed through a sieve to make the difference visible.

The pure look at the speed, unfortunately says nothing about the particle size, although the famous, 30000 revolutions are often used as a quality benchmark. We therefore went two steps further and did not just rely on the advertised speeds of the manufacturers! We did our own series of tests, but to get a better understanding, we decided to test the devices WITH container and 1.5 litres of water in it.
Furthermore, we have not yet been able to find a blender that even comes close to achieving 30000 rpm, under these conditions, which are very close to everyday reality. Not even the 300 km/h achieved by the Vitamix Pro 750 came close to the 30,000 rpm mark.

A turbo function, which the TNC 5200 had due to the analogue control, was also dropped with the new blender generation in favour of easier handling. All speed levels can be controlled continuously from 1 to 10 via the rotary control.

I hope, I was able to answer all your questions!

Greetings Simon

Question submitted by Simon on October 10, 2017 at 11:29 o'clock

Hello Simon,
thank you very much.

To your questions:
The container on the Pro 750 sits very compactly on the motor block in accordance with its design – perhaps therefore somewhat better than on the TNC 5200, whose container is considerably higher.
However, if you ever bump against the table, the container of the TNC would certainly fall over first cause of it's high. BUT this has never happened to me in years of smoothie production.

To your second question: a clear YES.
It is easier to remove the food because the container is simply wider and lower. This makes it more convenient in every respect.

Searching for a more powerful blender – clear thumbs up for the Pro 750 ;-)

i particularly like the versatility of the device.
However, I am not comfortable with the numerous keystrokes needed to prepare the dough, or the preparation process in general.
Is there no other option?

Does the device have a heater for cooking soup, or is it only heated by the friction heat?
The runtime in the article seems very short to me for this.

Question submitted by Wolfhard on October 10, 2017 at 11:14 o'clock

Hello Wolfhard,

the dough recipe and preparation instructions are taken from the Pro 750 cookbook.
However, I have also made a gluten-free dough with the Pro 750 by slowly running the speed up to level 5 – while working with the tamper. This worked great.
If you deviate from the set recipes, you simply have to test and try out a bit.
Often the ingredients used make the difference – what works with a conventional flour, does not work with the whole grain or gluten-free variant.

To your second question:
In the case of the Thai pumpkin soup, the ingredients had already been heated in the pot before they went into the blender.
That's why I chose the shorter purée program.
If you want to make soup with mostly raw or even cold ingredients, use the soup program. (runs for 5.5 minutes)
If you prefer to eat your soup only slightly heated, proceed manually, blending the ingredients on speed level 10 for about 2 to 3 minutes.
This way you can also stay in the raw food range – at around 42 degrees.

the dough was created in the (wet) 2 liter Pro container, which is included in the normal scope of delivery of the Vitamix Pro 750.

Best regards,

Your team

Wow! What a great report.
I already have it sitting here! I'm so excited about this little machine.
Other question *grin*: What lens are you using for the pictures? The pictures have a great depth!:-)

Thanks a lot!
Keep it up, Kathi

Question submitted by Kathi on October 10, 2017 at 11:08 o'clock

Dear Kathi,

great to hear that you have such a great time with your blender!

I take our pictures with a Nikon D700. The lens is a 24-70 mm from Nikon.
The depth of field is caused by a wide open aperture (2.8)
Since I don't know which picture you mean exactly, I can only tell you in general.

All the best,
Your Team!

Beanwortet am 10.10.2017 um 11:10 Uhr

We have received our Vitamix today and I came across your article because I wanted to know if the wet container, that comes with the device, can also knead dough?
Maybe you can help me out?
Thanks also for the great ideas and recipes!

Question submitted by Marie on October 10, 2017 at 10:24 o'clock

Dear Marie,

we made dough in the standard container at the time.
It works – but only with a lot of patience.
You can basically say that a high-speed blender is not made for kneading dough. At most, pancake or crêpe dough.

Very good
The blender is great. You don't need to lock the jug separately, just put it on, choose the speed, and start. Done, the blender does the rest. It can handle pretty much everything, but it does require a certain amount to work properly, at least with the mixing container it comes with. That's why I also bought the 1.4l container so I can mix smaller amounts. I blend chocolate shakes into coffee, smoothies, chili paste (from rehydrated chili peppers for Texas chili), nut butter, and much more. Everything works smoothly, and I don't even find it too loud. Cleaning is incredibly easy, just fill it halfway with warm water, add a few drops of dish soap, run it for a bit, done.

The programs are nice, but in my opinion, they are all a bit too long. The cleaning program runs for about 1 minute (I didn't measure it), which is unnecessary, 10 seconds would be enough. I also find the program for smoothies too long, it could be shorter. I'm not interested in the soup program, I still cook soup on the stove. However, the advantage of the programs is that they stop on their own, so I can do something else in the meantime, so they do have their place.

What annoys me about the whole world of blenders (I did a lot of research and informed myself before buying one) is that apparently, it's frowned upon to blend if you're not at least vegetarian, or even better: vegan! The YouTube channels that test and promote blenders are mostly called "Eat green" or "let's be vegan" or something similar, and these things are preferably sold on vegan websites. As a "meat-eater," owning a blender seems to be almost illegal, apparently vegans can't think of a reason why a meat lover would need a blender. Well, I have one, the Vitamix pro 750, and I think it's great and I use it. I just don't tell anyone, or I might get arrested.

I love this device!
I am absolutely thrilled! I haven't regretted the purchase for a single second! There's no need to study a huge instruction manual, it's really easy to use. The cleaning process is also quick and simple. The smoothies it makes are super creamy, simply amazing, I use it every day.

I won't give it up anymore!
We purchased our Vitamix Pro Series 750 7 years ago (after contemplating this purchase for two years, and my husband couldn't bear to hear my concerns about the high purchase price anymore :-)) and we are still thrilled with it! It may sound dramatic, but it has truly changed our lives. Especially if you want to follow a plant-based diet, the Vitamix allows you to reach a whole new level: spreads, cashew and almond milk and their "creams," creamy soups and veloutés, dips, ice creams, nut butters - all with an incredible consistency and quality.

It is truly worth the investment.

Smoothies, soups, creams are mega creamy/foamy. Pastes become sensational.
After first trying another model, I returned to the recommendation of GrueneSmoothies. I am highly satisfied in all respects. The Pro 750 is much quieter than the other Vitamixes. And it is simply worlds better than my old Bianco di Puro Originale, with which I was also very satisfied for many years, except for the volume and the high speeds.
The great service and advice from the team should also be emphasized.

Incredibly great repair service and super friendly handling
GrueneSmoothies is a great company: we have just experienced a more than fair, super-generous response when we forgot a spoon in the new blender jug on the first (!!) day of use and thus the device was initially scraped. Of course, no warranty case, we were to blame - but has helped us immediately, repaired the motor block and also sent us a new cup - both free of charge and all that even in a totally friendly tone - Stefan from GrueneSmoothies says, because it was the first day and we have honestly admitted that it was the spoon ... a super interaction.
It is a Vitamix Pro 750 - the best blender ever. Super is the wider, flatter cup. The blending results are perfect, the handling is simple. But most convincing is the company GrueneSmoothies itself :-)

Food Processor Attachment
No question, I love this blender! But why does the food processor attachment not fit on the Pro 750? It would be great if the food processor attachment would be available for this blender!

Editor's note:

Unfortunately, according to our current information, the Food Processor attachment will not be released in Germany and the US version is not compatible with European 220-240 volt appliances. Aside from that, the Food Processor is also only compatible with Ascent Smart Mixers in the US. This is because the Ascent Smart Mixers can throttle the speed depending on the container attached, which would be necessary for the Food Processor attachment.

Immediately in love with the first application
I just bought it, the Pro 750 and also tried only once, but I am thrilled. I look forward to many wonderful years with millions of smoothies and all the other goodies. He is visually very beautiful and also super powerful. I'm sure it won't let me down. Thanks to the seller for being so honest. So the decision was quite easy and it was definitely the right decision.

Do you have money? Buy this one!
Had the A3500i before, which was the already really good, he returned due to a rare engine failure and ordered the Pro 750 and what can I say. In my humble opinion, it is a lot better.
I think this is partly due to the different design of the 2 l container and secondly, the tamper also fits better, making Nice Cream, Nutbutter and frozen / viscous things are easier to make.
The noise level is also a bit more pleasant than with the A3500i.

Was sad to return the A3500i but hallelujah the Pro 750 has erased that feeling immediately.

If you have the money there is no better option than the Pro 750.

We bought our blender here half a year ago and I have not regretted the purchase a day despite the price. We are 4 people, so the size is very good. The blender is also wonderful to clean thanks to its cleaning program

absolute buy recommendation
I have the Pro 750 for some time and am completely thrilled! The smoothies are amazing. Previously I tried a lot of blenders and tried to love the smoothies. Either the ingredients were not properly pureed or the smoothie has disintegrated after a few seconds in the glass back into its individual parts. Enjoyment was never the case when drinking. With the Vitamix everything is different, no matter what ingredients, a smoothie or puree comes out in the end. The container is perfect, smooth inside and hardly any leftovers remain in it. So no ingredients are wasted as with conventional blenders. Cleaning with the automatic program is perfect. I have never needed so little water when cleaning a blender

I blend since 5 years regularly green smoothies and have now opted for this device. It just looks great. I will report my experience later

Great blender that also looks stylish
I have now waited a few months with my evaluation to test the blender first.
First: I have very long considered whether I get a Vitamix and when this decision was made, I actually tended to the Creations or TNC - simply because of the price. After further long research, it has then become the Pro 750. The deciding factor for me was actually the automatic programs. With a baby and toddler, I find these incredibly practical. If I have, for example, the baby in the carrier, I start the blender and go into another room (which is not bad at the volume ;)). Or I can briefly clean up the kitchen again in the time
So for us, the extra price was definitely worth it!
In addition, the look of the Pro 750 is really beautiful, but that was not the deciding factor for me

I am consistently happy with the blending results. So far I have conjured smoothies, ice cream, soups, nut puree and milk, as well as various spreads and everything was very tasty. The blender is actually in use every day. It's definitely the best investment I've made in years and will definitely make us happy for a long time to come

Many thanks also to your team and your service. I can only recommend you! Your recipes are also great. The ginger shot helps us well druch the cold season and the hummus - a dream.
Keep up the good work!

Clear buy recommendation, super service
I received my Vitamix Pro 750 today ( was super fast!) and was totally happy about it after the eternally long research! I have really long thought and researched whether it is worth the money and whether I really need the Pro 750. With a roommate I had tested him a few years ago and was thrilled. Now I was finally ready to invest so incredibly much money. I have used it only one day and already (almost ;-)) forgotten how expensive it was, because it is just so good! I immediately made hazelnut puree, as well as Nice Cream and a green smoothie and everything was amazing in terms of taste and creaminess. Thanks for the great smoothie cards, the very first of your green smoothies blew me away. A very clear buy recommendation and I think if you want a decent blender that makes especially also nut puree, better invest once so much than twice...
By the way, the color copper is a real eye-catcher and peps up the kitchen landscape significantly. Already alone this friendly color and high-quality processing makes you want to use it
Thanks also to GrueneSmoothies that you have sent me directly the 1.4l wet container at my request, since I will first prepare rather small quantities. I'm keeping the option open for the large optimized 2l container and with a larger kitchen will hopefully upgrade soon:-)
Thank you very much for this informative site. I never really comment, but this site has helped me a lot in my decision :-)

Best purchase decision of the year!
I have never(!) eaten such creamy smoothies. And it almost doesn't matter what ingredients you put in it. Apple, banana, pear, even passion fruit and raspberry become so fine that you no longer have to / can chew the seeds, even if you can still feel them very slightly. In soups that I puree, for example, with carrots and tomatoes everything becomes so creamy that you think a very good shot of cream is in it. Nope, it is not and your body shape is happy!

It blends and blends and blends....
I bought the Vitamix about 1.5 years ago and have not regretted the purchase decision for a moment. The blender is simply not at all to compare with all the models from the electronics stores.

High-quality workmanship, incredible ability to pulverize the ingredients and also a real feast for the eyes!

I can recommend the blender despite the price tag to anyone who regularly blends or intends to do so.

Best and most beautiful Vitamix!
Every morning when I get up, I look forward to preparing my smoothie with the Vitamix Pro 750. The wide container is easy to fill and the blending result is a creamy dream. Even my beloved kale smoothies are blended perfectly fine. Yummi! Even though this blender is quite expensive, I think it's worth every penny. Because it blends not only super, but is a real eye-catcher in my small kitchen. For me definitely the most beautiful and best Vitamix!

The absolute dream blender!
Today, the blender arrived and was already tested by me to the marrow. I had in my anticipation already bought all the ingredients before to then, when he arrives also can start right away! First, I can say that it is a real beauty! Visually, the Pro 750 has convinced me, like many others, very much! However, he not only looks beautiful, but also a lot of power! The smoothies are just wonderfully creamy and super fine! Also soup, Nice Cream and almond paste is blended just greatly. The taste experience is every time simply the madness! Since I eat a large part of raw food, this device is just ideal for me. I love this blender and all that it has to offer! A real dream!

An investment worth the money
Three years ago, we bought a Bianco di Puro Primo so that we wouldn't have to spend almost a thousand euros on an appliance that we didn't know how long we would really use consistently. If we had known back then that the blender would become the centerpiece of the kitchen within a very short time, we probably would have invested in the top of the line right away

The Bianco di Puro Primo makes great green smoothies, but it's not designed for much more than that due to the lower motor power (and that's perfectly fine at the price). We quickly realized that the applications for a professional blender are incredibly diverse and therefore, after a good year, we switched to the Vitamix Pro 750, which we have supplemented over time with a dry container and a 0.9 liter wet container

Each blender jar is useful for its respective tasks and we really haven't regretted the - admittedly expensive - investment once. Making hot soups, ice cream, hummus, pesto, grinding grains, coffee beans, kneading dough, blending sauces, pureeing soups, chopping vegetables, making nut milks, juicing, whipping cream, and of course, smoothies - it's hard to imagine our everyday kitchen life without the Vitamix. We make a lot more food ourselves than we used to and know exactly what's in it. We also throw away much less, since the fresh quantities can be adjusted quite well.

In the USA, there is now an even newer generation of Vitamix machines on the market, whose accessories include extremely small blender jars, which would be perfect for an onion, a handful of peppercorns or similar. We very much hope that they are compatible with the motor block of the 750 Pro, because this container size is really the only wish that has remained open so far.

As for the eternal topic of "plastic or glass": apparently, no manufacturer of high-speed blenders has yet managed to develop a glass container that can withstand the enormous stresses generated by such a high number of blade rotations. The desire of customers for a glass container that is free of scratches and abrasion is certainly known to the companies, but is simply not feasible for safety reasons. Of course, we would also prefer a blender jug without plastic, but we do not want to miss the advantages of an otherwise so well thought-out and powerful device and are therefore willing to make this compromise.

I would like to join my predecessors
I would like to join my predecessors. Super device - BUT unfortunately no glass container! We have measured the residue with the fruit acid and yet residues remain in the smoothie. Glass containers are simply more acid resistant !!! I do not want my family to continue and still waiting for a product with the same speed and the same good quality - - BUT with GLASS CONTAINER ! SO my gentlemen of creation - For men maybe okay but women usually have more sense of responsibility towards their children. How does it look actually with their environmental thought? If the machine must be disposed of, what happens to the plastic? Burn it? Okay for one container, but how many have you sold? The emission goes into the air, maybe also into the groundwater. This fact could be avoided by producing a glass container. I am looking forward to your activity to develop the glass container with a good company. If you could even buy the glass container afterwards - you would not regret to have produced it.

Own the Vitamix for half a year
Own the Vitamix for half a year and would now like to share my opinion with others. It is my first high-speed blender, so I lack the comparison. The positive aspects have already been explained enough, I can only agree with them. The price is reasonable for the motor block and in view of 7 !!! Years warranty reasonable. However, I see the biggest shortcoming in the cup. I am surprised that this has not yet been addressed. On the one hand, the cup does not feel very valuable, the handle is very simply processed. Even more disturbing to me is the fact that it is made of plastic. Just in view of the fact that the Vitamix is bought to a large extent by health-conscious people, it is very surprising that this does not seem to bother anyone. It is BPA free. Wonderful, only whether that's so much better is up for debate. The cup is already clearly covered with many small scratches after half a year of use. Where scratches are, abrasions occur, which then end up in the smoothie. Why can't the buyer choose between a plastic and a glass version ? I'm not an engineer, but there are now very light and shatterproof glass? As I said, engine block super, cup not optimally solved and the premium claim not appropriate.

I am an enthusiastic Green Smoothie drinker
I am an avid green smoothie drinker, and by now I can't imagine a day without a green smoothie.
The first time I drank a green smoothie, which was made with a high-speed blender (now a good 1 year ago), I decided to sell my KitchenAid and ordered me a Bianco di Puro. The Bianco di Puro gave a great result and quickly I began to make the green power bombs daily.

Here in the office, I also infected many colleagues with the Green Magic Potion, so the question quickly arose as to which blender we should purchase here. After I saw the review of the Vitamix Pro 750 on your site, my decision was made quickly. The compact construction, the great design and of course the 7-year warranty convinced me to buy.

Compared to the Bianco di Puro convinced me the Vitamix 750 pro by its robust processing and the simple design. But also the smoothies are much creamier and maybe it just seems to me, but I think they taste better too. The 750 Pro is quieter and also easier to clean due to the wider container

All in all, I can recommend the Vitamix pro 750 to anyone who is seriously concerned with a healthy diet and puts claim to design and workmanship.
